I love the hats! I entirely don't get it (well, I suppose they are stereotypical outfits of sorts), but it's a barely-sequitor and I find it delightful. Bordering on the absurd, though I suppose in cartoons they do such things all the time... Anyway, as I trip over my words, my point was that I very much enjoyed the fifth comic!

Aw, shucks.
I was half-joking, but it's nice to get some validation anyway.

Yay, thanks! Anyway, the joke is supposed to be that the worm just assumes that the sultan is evil because it's a stereotype/cliché. But if I didn't quite get that across...well, a non-sequitur is always good.
P.S. Sultans are people too!
In any case, the whole comic is meant to be bordering on the absurd. My original title was "Absurdity Abounds." Actually, my first title was "If on a summer's night a procrastinator dreams of floating castles in dimensional space," but I thought that that was a bit too pretentious/long/ridiculous.
Other contenders included "Absurdly Dreaming" and "Hamster Ball Challenge."

Thank, kind sir. I don't know enough about you to make the call on whether or not exactly you are a gentleman and a scholar, but I CAN assure you that you have excellent taste in webcomics. Carry on, then.

I just like reading a lot more and see where it go's then commenting.....
I did so! How do you know who I counted?
Anyway, it's fine if you don't comment. Like I said, I was half-joking. I was probably just unconsciously fishing for compliments, anyway.

Also, I apologize for the liberal use of the tongue smiley in this post. I just...can't...help myself.

.....hnnnnngggh...
Whew, that's much better.
And now...time for another comic. Almost done with the prologue! :O

Yeah, I realize that. My plan is just to change the title back to "EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids!" right before the 30 days are up. For the time being, this system seems to be working just fine to me.

I think Nameless already answered your question.
Besides, shouldn't you be more concerned about the radio than the robot?
And...yes, it's time for a new comic. Well, this one isn't actually much of a comic, but it's still time for it anyway.
NEW COMIC - 7: If I Were George R.R. Martin, Charles Would Be Dead Right Now
Spoiler
A little slow on the uptake, eh?
Seriously, though. That is a disturbing trend of GRRM's prologues.

Man, this comic has so many layers. Is he saying he woke up literally? As in he left a state of physical sleep, or did he wake up figuratively? As in he became aware of the struggles of mankind, finally gaining comprehension through the allegory of riding into town on a giant worm.
It can also be a mixture of physical and figurative wakefulness. Perhaps while awake he was a terrible person, a sexist, racist, unimaginative man, who hated life. In his dream, as pictured here, he is traveling into "town", a place of general traffic, on a "worm", obviously a phallic symbol if anything. This action represents his blatant misogynistic belief of women as nothing but dirty whores. He makes that realization, as well as the realization that he is traveling with disdain for an ethnic stereotype.
His being on top of the "Worm" is a product of his realizing that his parents were to blame for his upbringing, and when he awakes he will disown his family and embrace a new life of happiness and joy with all the wonders of the world.
...
Layers.
@V: That is what I was going for, yes.
EDIT: Oh, wait, nevermind. I just got ninja'd by the truth. I guess it really is just a one-off absurdist comic, not an intellectual commentary on modern life and the human condition, my mistake.

Well maybe next time you wont make your protagonist's motives so blatantly obvious based on his scenario. Really, Sneak, one could almost think that you don't automatically assume that each and every one of us is a fake literacy major.
