@Phase: now that's just insulting.
@LordZarth: Thanks!
There will most likely be no new comic tonight. I hope that there will be one tomorrow, and there most likely will be, but I'm not making any promises. With spring break only a week away, my teacher's are really piling on the work. I mean, 4 tests, really?
Re: EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids! - UPDATED 2:17 PM EST, 3/15/09
That sounds brutal. But then you think about it and realize all the classes that have tests won't assign homework. And tests are better than homework. At least in my opinion.

Hey Sneak. I just want to say, good work on the the comic. It's funny, and it's got a neat art style. This might just be the only webcomic on this site that I'll bother to keep reading.
But I think it needs MORE umläuts!

Doesn't everything?
Er.
Döësn't ëvërythïng?
In any case, thanks. Means a lot, coming from someone as creative as you.

Tests make no workload change whatsoever, unless the teacher also gives out a mandatory/graded study guide.
...
Unless it's a language class.
Wait, Crimson... How do you have two tests in math in sixth grade? Multiple standardized math classes don't become available until after Algebra 2, which is (supposedly) an 11th grade course... Though it was still ridiculously easy
EDIT: As for the comic, I'm loving it. It doesn't make much sense, but... It's funny! I'm interested to see where it goes; will they kill the sultan and his pink robot army...? We shall soon see!
Also, an editing tip in case everyone missed it (I don't have time to chug through the second page): Comic #8: It says "I rode on the back of what seemed to be the back of a giant worm" or something along those lines. It should probably be "I rode on the back of what seemed to be a gaint worm" or "I rode on what seemed to be the back of a giant worm".

Also, thanks Tired N' Drowzy! And thanks for catching that mistake...it's fixed now. I just noticed that in the fixed version I split an infinitive, but eh, I'm not changing it again.
Anyway...sorry for the double post, but there's a new update, so...
NEW COMIC- 10: Surprise Surprise!
Spoiler
"What? They don't even have any alpadifters in this time period? WHAT IS THIS!?"
Re: EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids! - UPDATED 10:06 PM EST, 3/16/09
Well, duh.
Sorry I don't have an update ready yet—like I said, this is the week from hell. I'm almost done with a new comic, and I have the scripts for the next few done already, but I dunno if there will be a comic posted before I go to bed or not.
Thanks for having patience. I have my last two tests tomorrow—after that, I'm home free, and I'll have a lot more time for webcomickry.
Re: EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids! - UPDATED 10:06 PM EST, 3/16/09
Sorry for the double post. Anyway, comic is finally ready—
NEW COMIC- 11: You're Makin' Me Craaaazy
Spoiler
...SIKE!
I've also decided to stop editing the title of the thread with updates. Too much effort.
Anyway, I promise two comics tomorrow—we'll finally be out of the stupid forest soon!
Also, I'm sorry if this comic seems a little unpolished—I'm not quite happy with it, but I just wanted to get it out so we could keep moving forward. Just bear with me here. It'll all be ok, I promise.
Re: EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids! - UPDATED 10:06 PM EST, 3/16/09
NEW COMIC- No Horses Were Available
Spoiler
"And they lived happily ever after."
"What?"
I played around with the positioning of the speech bubbles a bit, but I couldn't get it to look perfect. I hope it's clear that Charles is the one talking at the beginning and end.
Re: EXÜBERANCE - fun time story for kids! - UPDATED 10:06 PM EST, 3/16/09
...aw, crap. I knew I'd do that eventually.
Fixed now.
Also: sorry about my unreliability...it's just been a very hectic week, and I'm exhausted. It's over now, though, and I'm on break for a week, so I hope that I should be able to make up for it soon.
