GITP Monster Competition BLT - Mayonnaise Mayhem
Mayonnaise Mahem
Mayonnaise: One of the sauces which serve the French in place of a state religion. - Ambrose Bierce
There is the smell of vinegar and eggs in the air. It is a warning... an omen... a condiment. Sandwiches cower and beg for mercy. It's white and it is spreading. Creatures straight from the pits of HELLman who will serve us all up on a blue plate. Do you have the stomach for it?

The contest begins with the posting of this thread and will continue until Midnight of April 1st (EST).
Soon after a poll will be opened for everyone to vote for their favorite that will last until the last day of the month.
Rules
1. You will be creating an original D&D creature. A being on the sauce.
2. The entry must include name, complete stat-block, physical description, basic background information, and detailed combat behavior if any. A plot hook or similar in addition is optional but encouraged. Incomplete entries will be disqualified upon the deadline.
3. Entries must be 3.5 edition, using the standard format listed below (not that new one seen in the Monster Manual IV, except for a lore section which is encouraged).
4. Post all entries on this thread. Do not post conversation here. Any and All Comments and discussions will take place on a separate thread here (this is a link).
5. One entry per participant. No double-teaming.
6. Entries copied from some other source (splatbook, alternate website, etc) will be disqualified. All entries must be a new creation, not one already posted. Merely adding class levels or templates to an already published or posted creature does not count as a new monster.
7. No reserving posts. Feel free to post a creature and tweak it, but you have to have the basic beast already done.

Re: GITP Monster Competition BLT - Mayonnaise Mayhem
Soo... what counts as a sauce monster? Edible oozes? Edible oozes that taste like ketchup? Monsters that you can put on food?
...and to balance the seriousness of anything I might have said: boingo boingo whoopsy knickers.(Apologies to B. Croshaw)
My homebrews:
The Xeromancer [PrC], The Gamer [Monster] (Monster Contest XXXII Winner)The Sworn [Base Class]...and various things scattered around the forums I can't be bothered to track down again.
78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.

Re: GITP Monster Competition BLT - Mayonnaise Mayhem
You better watch out for the Heinz wizards as they have developed 57 varieties of gourmet oozes guaranteed to bring mayhem to any picnic. In an effort not to be outdone, the Kraft guild is specializing in the mustard ooze.
Happy April Fool's Day!
DebbyP.E.A.C.H. Please Evaluate And Critique Honestly. Being nicer and kinder doesn't hurt either. Note I generally only critique 3.5 and Pathfinder material.
Please, please, please when using non-core material, cite to the books. There are too many books to wade through to find the one with the feat, special ability or spell you use.

Re: GITP Monster Competition BLT - Mayonnaise Mayhem
You do realize this gave me an idea for an ooze creature, right? With an aura
"Fattening Aura - Your body swells in the mere presence of the mayonnaise, making even the lightest armor constrictive. Arcane spellcasting failure is increased by 5%, and for the purposes of ignoring spellcasting failure chance, all armor is treated as if it were one category heavier. Attacks also automatically miss on a natural 1 or 2."
The range of this aura I wasn't able to decide.
And also a tiny construct "Mayonnaise Jar" which, having held within itself a demonic horror that yearns to be unleashed, has begun to affect some of that creature's qualities?
