i am confused, this is better than the fighter, and if you make a fighter prestige class, what do you do with the class, and if you have both then who wouldnt take this, it gives you a feat every level.
It's fairly overpowered for a PrC. Especially since it can be taken at 4th level. Although there are some fairly chumpy PrC's out there (Order of the Bow Initiate, anyone?) getting a bonus feat every level is too powerful for a full attack progression PrC that can be taken at 4th level.
EDIT: d12 hit dice also. lol. With a PrC like this, no-one would play the fighter, or any other melee-based PrC's (well, none geared towards fighters, anyway).
Maybe an idea: Make them more specialized: Let them chose a style at certain LvL. (grapple, Power, AC, Board&Sword, TWF, unarmed, Mobile, Control, ...) With each a bunch of feats attached they can chose from.
LvL 1 : Gain style.
- Power Style. Prereq. Power Attack. benefit: You can change the amount of PA during your turn as a swift action.
Feats: Cleave, Sunder, Leap attack, Impr Critical, Shock Trooper, ...
Gain an extra style at lvl 3, 5, 7, 9 (the weak lvls).
Weapon of Choice: Fighters focus on a particular weapon throughout their training. As such, they may select any one weapon (simple, martial, or exotic) at 1st level and gain the required proficiencies for that weapon. They also acquire the Weapon Focus feat for the appropriate weapon.
Improved Weapon of Choice: At 5th level, a Fighter's prowess with their chosen weapon increases. They receive the Weapon Specialization and Greater Weapon Focus feats for the appropriate weapon, even if they don't qualify for the feats.
Greater Weapon of Choice: At 10th level, a Fighter's prowess with their chosen weapon increases further. They receive the Greater Weapon Specialization and Weapon Supremacy feats for their chosen weapon, even if they don't qualify for them.
how about "win button: automatically w1ns t3h D&D"
but honestly, this PrC, other than making itself a more fully loaded fighter, still isn't really all that. I mean, don't forget, all the GOOD feats you can have by level 6-7 as a fighter. This PrC just means you'll have more feats that are useless.

Actually, in response to the overpowerdness of this PrC because it can be qualified for by level 3, Master Specialst(comlete mage) is also qualified for by level 3 and brigs much more to the table. I think in light of this a specialist PrC for non caster is in order. I must admit though, this class doesn't really give that much. I would suggest that Fax Celetis's suggestion be added, and maybe a few other class features to boost power. This class is pretty underpowered as it currently stands.
And the number of feats is deseptive beacuse they are clustered. It currently brings one close to the number of feats the fighter gets, but over a much sorter span.

...replacing the bonus feats at those levels?
I like this. Since Weapon Focus is a pre-req, though, I might do WS+GWF/GWS+Mastery/Supremacy, and maybe change the levels around.
