So accomplishments in world building from the last thread:
Use of Kpenguin's file drawer multiverse model was almost unanimously chosen.
The Plane of Incarnum's existence was established, as well as it's function with magic and the soul. Similarly, speculation that Randomizer is almost pure Incarnum held together by his ambient magic.
Probably more, that's just what I recall right now.

By my model, they are not infinite. Rather, they are very finite in the fifth dimension (the fourth spacial dimension) and nigh-infinite in all other directions, as is the material plane. IF you accept that the universe is infinite or nigh infinite, then this is the only logical conclusion if you accept my theory.

If the world was 2 dimensional, here is what it would look like:
That means each and every plane would be the size of the planet (Flatworld or Avbaroy). The Shadow plane would have one more dimension than the normal universe, and each plane would be deposited at the same location except in the last dimension.

I thought we had already accepted my model for the planes, which clearly tells us that the planes are regions of the universe exactly the same as the region of the universe perceivable by us.
There is a clear contradiction between your shadow/astral plane model and my "file drawer" model.
Furthermore, in my model, Baator, Mechanus, and the like are not planes. They are, rather, planets on the planes.
