Hello all.
This thread was designed by Lucky originally for the purposes of coordinating and maintaining all the werewolf games and variants. It has become a great tool for us. This is where you come to place a claim on running your own Werewolves or Werewolves variant game. It can also be used to develop ideas and gather interest for your own version of the game.
Whatever you're looking for in regards to werewolf games should be found on this page.
Maybe not in this post, but somewhere on this first page.
Everything from start dates to active games, rules (and optional rules) to games archives can be found here along with tools designed to make your game run smoother.
If there’s something useful you think is missing, mention it. We will immediately eventually spring lurch into action to sort it out.

Twisted. A WW game within a WW game.

Anyways, Absorption is underpowered. You may want to upgrade it a little or change it completely.

In my opinion anyways.

'Tis wacky. Looks kinda fun. Not sure how well it'd work, but still seems nice.

EDIT: Yeah, absorption and puppeteer don't look that great. But I've never seen the appeal of point control roles.

What if I changed both to affect 3 points instead? I noticed that a role with 3 points was pretty useful over in USB.

Actually, I thought Puppeteer looked fine. Because not only can it get someone's point off who you want to save, it can simultaneously change it on to someone you want to kill. A net of two.

And Puppeteer chains sound like fun.

Sounds like it could be alot of backstabbing fun although what happens if one society achieves their society condition but the team conditions ain't met?
Puppeteer could do with a change to any person rather than just the person before them. Absorption might be better with 2 point since they have to match Puppeteer power.

If the society condition is met the members of that society win. If the team condition is met the members of that team win. The game goes until someone reaches their win condition. So yes, lots of backstabbing if you decide you like the odds of your society winning more than your team's, since odds are the members of your team will be from different societies.

I'm hoping that knowing who your teammates are will make that win condition more feasible, at least until you figure out who's also a member of your society. That and societies don't get to declare targets for the night kill-type action, so you'd need your society to convince members of their own teams to go with those kills.

It looks like a lot of fun. Does death simulation work multiple times? And absorption seems weak compared to puppeteer.

Updated the rules for it, changed Absorption to block 2 points, changed Puppeteer to allow you to choose who's point to control, and changed Death Simulation to show it only works once.

Anyway... it looks like fun, just one question:
I guess the game ends once one team wins and then every player that is in that team might also win a society victory if the opposing team are dead.

Is this correct?

Well... I was going to run a Paranoia game as a Ravnica style game with a few twists. But Kyouhen has a more unique ruleset, so I'll let him have a go with the franchise.

He can have my slot on the schedule if he wants it.
