The Good League of Good is an organization devoted to the redemption of evildoers. All of our members are either good aligned or trying to become good.
To become a member PM either FF Fanboy, ~~Haleyintraining~~[Leave of Absence], Happyturtle, Kaelaroth, Lex-kat, or Saint Nil.

OOC: All players are welcome to make a character to join GLoG. The PM requirement is only so we know who is around. We aren't running auditions or anything.

IC: Your character may be refused entry to the premises or asked to leave if they are not of good alignment or if they cause trouble in character.

FAQ:

What's the point? Isn't there already a good aligned organization? Why didn't you just join HALO?

OOC, we have nothing against HALO. (IC may be a different story.) However, we wanted an organization that only allows good-aligned members and focuses on the redemption of evildoers. If the real world can have multiple organizations for the purpose of doing good, we don't see why the forum can't hold more than one as well.

No seriously. Aren't you just a HALO clone?

Not intentionally. We have our own purpose and our own mission, which overlaps somewhat with HALO's, but is not identical.

Why don't you let anyone post in the main thread without PMing first?

OOC answer: Honestly, we tried it, and it was too chaotic to read.
IC answer: You don't let strangers wander into your house at all hours, do you? We just want to know who is in our house.

Still, it seems awfully rude. You've offended a lot of people.

What's the point of the visitor's centre?

We still want to play nicely with others! So we set up the visitor's centre thread to provide an IC access port.

Are you part of the Town? Or are you in an extra dimension?

We didn't really know at first, but when AMEN contacted us, it seemed clear that we inhabited some sort of reality with AMEN and HALO. Which means we aren't Town. I think. (Really, we're making this up as we go along!)

New answer: Everyone's a part of the town, but the rules are different here, Town laws do not apply. ACRONYM rules do. So respect the rules, and we will all get along just fine.

Will you be interacting with the other groups?

Yes, but we haven't worked out the mechanics yet. We're officially at war with AMEN, but we don't want random fighting going on in our headquarters. So we might be setting up a war thread or a plot thread or something, but we don't know yet.

As far as HALO goes, we have no formal ties with them, though there is some membership overlap, and we're currently in discussions. IC, some of us have formed a negative opinion of HALO. It doesn't mean we have a problem with you OOC. (Honestly, Turtle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and she's very defensive about being a former evildoer.)

We interact with other groups quite a lot, though the war with AMEN has come to an end.

GLoG is a pretty silly name, isn't it?

Yes. Yes it is. One of our founding members used to belong to the Evil League of Evil (If you haven't heard of it, google 'Dr Horrible'), so when she turned good, it seemed reasonable to form the Good League of Good.

Tia rounds the corner and enters the main hall in the process of pulling a shirt and pants on over a red bikini. She stops and looks at Glorious Serenity, taking her in. ((psst, this is a subtle request for a description

)) The young woman with short red hair and green eyes glances around the room to be sure nobody else came in with her.

Glorious Serenity is not a normal woman. She is tall, easily clearing six feet, and has a good deal of muscle, though not to the extent that it detracts from her appearance. She has an air of intimidating, herculean perfection about her, and her skin gleams as if it had been oiled. Her hair is tied back in a long black braid, and her green eyes rove over the base as she examines it, trying to find anything of interest...

Serene looks down at Tia and raises an eyebrow at her.
"And you are?"
Her voice is soft, but filled with authority.

Serene focuses her heavy gaze on the girl, the full weight of her presence falling hard upon her.

Tia trembles and sinks under the weight. I... I don't know. I just got here. As the weight bares harder and harder upon her, her stance shifts. She slowly and subtly falls into a defensive stance. Hard to identify to those who are unfamiliar with the martial arts, it is a well designed and practiced stance. The kind that tells a master that there is more going on with her than appears on the surface. Are... Are you looking to fight somebody?

Danger.
Think Serene and her demon at the same time. In an instant, her sheathed sword has been swung down in a counter position to Tia's stance, mimicking a similar martial arts style, but implementing the sword in its use.

Tia may notice that the sword in question is disconcertingly difficult to understand. Despite how it is quite obviously there, it could be any size from a short sword to a oversized claymore, and any shape from rapier to falchion. It's very confusing....

"Perhaps... is that a challenge?"
There is a vivid interest in Serene's eyes now.

Tia eyes the sword, trying to focus on its form and size. Giving up on that, she sets her eyes on her opponent's. A smile creeps onto her face. I guess it is. Her fighting spirit flares up around her. Her position shifts into an offensive one. For a moment, I thought you were somebody else. But seeing as you are not him, I think I might enjoy a good spar.

"Sure, they might want a duel, but I prefer something more certain when dealing with a problem. Now, how let's see, how send a massive amount of security drones?"

Tia flashes and vanishes in a blur of acceleration. She leaps to the side, flanking Serenity to the left. She lands and springs towards her opponent. She aims a powerful chop at the woman's weapon hand, seeking to disarm her before the fight gets underway.

As Tia shifts her position, Serene blurs to one side to keep opposite and facing her, matching the speed displayed by her opponent.
"I race the wind as it blows, learn from its swiftness."
As Tia strikes, her entire form seems to ripple and blur, her movement slowing as she gains a position out of the path of the blow.
"Who can touch the air, or catch the breeze in their hand?"
Her sheathed sword whirls out and under the girl's arms in an attempt to deliver Tia a solid blow to the stomach.

Tia reads the attack at the last moment and reverses direction, allowing the blow to propel her backwards as apposed to knocking the wind out of her. A small, round object falls to the ground at Serenity's feet. A short fuse fizzles before the fire bomb explodes is a flash of bright light and concussive noise. Not deadly, but a good flash bang. Happosai Fire Burst! Tia lands and falls into a ready position again.

Time slows to a crawl for Serene, and she leaps up and backwards, gathering momentum at an impossible rate as she lips one hundred and eight degrees in the air, landing on the ceiling feet first and skidding along it, completely ignoring that gravity should be pulling her in quite the opposite direction.

"What mars the grace of the zephyr, or tells it where it must go? Only the fool questions its passage."

She races along the ceiling and leaps down towards Tia, her sword flashing out in a flurry of strikes as she flips and regains her footing on the ground.

Tia follows her movements, pivoting in place so that she is always facing her opponent. As Serenity descends towards her, Tia grabs her shirt and tears it off. She wraps it rapidly around her wrist, twisting and binding the material to give it a bit of extra strength. As Serenity launches her flurry of blows, Tia uses the shirt covered wrist to block them, always twisting her wrist to impact the side of the blade when possible. As soon as the buffet ends, Tia tears off the tattered remains of the shirt and throws them at Serenity. A thin wisp of smoke trails the cloth, tell tail of another explosive. Tia waits for the exact moment Serenity moves and vaults in a path that will give her an interception and a chance to launch her own blitz of lighting punches.

Serene side steps and moves her sword to bat the bomb out of the way as she dashes off to the side- movement which is quickly checked and reversed as Tia intercepts her. The warrior deflects each blow with neat twists of her arms, pushing the attacks away to try and throw the woman off balance before striking out with an overhead sword stroke that makes the air hum loudly with its speed.

Tia is frustrated by her opponents impressive speed. She wouldn't have pegged her for being this swift, judging from her size and build. She tries to land blows until Serenity returns with her own attack. The girl disengages, throwing her weight down and back, allowing her to drop away from the weapons arc just in time to hear it go singing by. Oops, that sucker is deceptive in its dimensions. Too late does Tia realize the sword is several inches longer than she thought a moment ago. There is a rending tear as she doges back and rolls to her feet. She checks herself for injury quickly and finds her borrowed pants now pinned to the floor by Serenity's weapon. Vidalia is going to be mad... On the bright side, the fan service quota of this fight just sky rocketed, for those who can keep up with the action, as Tia is now wearing nothing but a red bikini. She holds up her hand and motions for her foe to come at her. Her next attack requires her to allow her enemy to stay on the offensive while she skillfully draws her in an ever narrowing spiral path. She only hopes that Serenity is too focused on landing a blow to note the intentionality of her moves.

Serene leaps forwards, moving in the spiral and spinning with it, using the movement to her advantage as she launches a wave of four arcing and spiraling cuts at Tia.

"Who dares step into the tempest- defy the storm and brave the cutting wind?"

Her sword vanishes as she completes the fourth stroke, but she whips out with her opposite hand in a surprise, wide strike, and the sword flickers into being as she strikes with it before fading back into nothingness after the attack.

Tia dodges the first three strokes, further leading her foes into her trap. The final blow catches her by surprise, landing heavily against her side. She grunts with pain as the blow opens her barely healed wounds for her scuffle with a wild wolf just the night before. Too late. She reaches the center and of the spiral and raises her fist upwards. Flying Dragon Ascension Wave! She lets loose a blast of stone cold battle resolve that draws the fiery battle spirit she and Serenity had left behind in a spiral inward and up. The energies converge, rushing together upwards, creating a powerful whirlwind that strives to suck Serenity upwards and send her careening out of control though the air.

Watch out!
Serene's demon shouts in her mind, but Serene leaps into the whirlwind, flinging upwards and riding the wave of energy upwards, being thrown away from Tia, but doing so in a controlled manner that once again sends her skidding along the ceiling until she slows, at which point she drops and does a neat flip to land on her feet.

"You're far better than I expected."

Tia faces her and grins. I could say the same. Not many survive that attack in one piece. She coughs and winces. Blood flows from the re-opened wounds on her side. I seem to be at a bit of a disadvantage. Mind if we give this one more good go to see who come out on top?

Tia seems a little confused by this response. She starts to disagree, but realizes that she probably wouldn't win if they did go all out at this point. Fine. But this is not a win for you. This is a postponement till a later date. She holds her side to try to staunch the bleeding.

Vidalia wakes up, and upon not seeing Tia, runs out of the hot tub, barely remember to grab her top as she went, which she takes the time to put on.

Once in the great room, she sees Tia bleeing, and a stranger facing her.

Tia!!! She screams as she runs to her side. Let me help you!

Nikolai softly padded from her room once again. She was making a habit of this, running from the kitchen to her quiet, nearly empty room.
As usual, a scarf was tied around her neck, her flesh almost completely covered in long billowy fabrics of purple and black.
The red-head moved slowly back to the kitchen, taking up her spot from earlier in the day.
