Don't fix something that isn't broken, the oval heads are fine.

Wow, I didn't think that the ovals were that likable.

Or you just don't want a delay in comics...

Either way, it's good. I guess I'll keep the ovals.

Sorry, guys. I'm going to be out of state for the next few days, so there will be a slight delay. No more comics until next week. Feel free to check out my Deviantart page, though. I have a few non-WLiSB comics, and some other OotS-Style stuff there.

Hi everyone! I'm back! I haven't gotten around to making #11 yet, but I did make this for another OotS-Style comic on my Deviantart page.

Spoiler

I'll get to the next comic soon, I just have some things I need to do right now. Maybe in a few days.

Yeah, it's not dead. I was out of state, and therefore unable to make new comics, and I've been busy lately. The comic is on hiatus at best. Thanks for saying it's awesome, though!

Sorry, not #11, but I finished a comic for a different series on my deviantart page (wow, I link to this almost every post) a few minutes after the holiday ended in my time zone. Oh well, happy Independence Day, Americans.

I'm not American, so I don't know if I can really comment on that without making an ass out of myself.

I can nitpick though!

Panel 5: The speech bubbles are in the wrong order. When you read, you read from left to right. When the bubbles are in the wrong order, the dialouge gets all funny. It's a little frustrating to read. Don't worry though, this is an error I've seen in alot of comics Just try to keep it in mind.

Thanks. I was trying to finish this comic before midnight (almost made it), so I rushed some of the details. I'll come back to that later.

little nitpick. the hair on the dwarf is wrong. look in a comic like this http://antiheroescomic.com/comic/181 and compare your character's hair to theirs. I guarantee it'll look a lot better if you change to that.

I read that comic, and that's a gnome. Still, I'll probably fix the beard. Thanks!

Okay, maybe I haven't exactly reached the deadline I made. No where near it, in fact. A lot has come up so far, and I haven't had a good opportunity to make more comics. I'm hoping to get back into a somewhat regular schedule soon, but I can't promise anything. I can, however, give you this comic, which I made in celebration of my 1st full year of writing comics. It's basically a giant ad for my Deviantart page, so make of it what you will. Speaking of which, if you're at all interested in the comic, you can get a rough idea of what's coming next by reading the hand-drawn WLiSB comics I have up there. The art is terrible, and I hadn't really gotten the hang of writing comics yet, but it goes to 26, and I'm going to base the next comics off of them.

In short, I do plan on making more comics, I have a lot planned for this comic, such as new characters, villains, and an actual plot; but I don't know when I'll have an opportunity to work on those. I hope to add more soo, but we'll see how that turns out.

Alright, I finally have number 11 done!

As you can probably tell, I'm a pretty big Doctor Who fan. Anyways, with any luck, I'll have number 12 done soon as well. Stay tuned!

It certainly is nice to hear some feedback.

I agree with you somewhat on Stumpy's hair, but it definitely needs an upgrade. Technically speaking, it didn't really conform to standard OotS style hair, and, while not necessarily a bad thing, I thought it seemed out of place. If you have any specific aspects of it you liked, let me know. He's not scheduled to appear until comic 14, so I'll have time to give him another upgrade.

Hmm... after looking a little more closely, I think the thing I like about Stumpy's (Yey! I learned someone's name!) old hair is the fact that it's not that tall, in fact not any taller than how tall he actually is. The new hair feels a little to tall for me, nad also since it's more spikey it feels like he's been using some hair-product to make it look like that, and that's not very fantasy

EDIT: But for god's sake, I'm just a whiney little fifteen year old kid. JUst do it the way you like it

Can't say too much now, but I ended up rushing this comic before I leave tomorrow, so there could be some typos. What do you think?

Heh. Nice.

Can I ask a question?
Are we ever going to see them on an adventure or is this comic gonna be nothing but stand-alone joke-comis?

Certainly!

Yes, you will see them adventuring soon. The opening is rather slow, which is partially intentional. They will definitely be given their first adventure in comic 20, along with the introduction of a new character. I do have a long-term plot planned, but it will be a while before that's mentioned. The long beginning is representative of the beginning of most of my campaigns, which usually take a few hours to get to, as the comic should make obvious.

Another comic's done!

I feel this one deserves a bit of an explanation, though. You see, when I first started this comic, it was even worse than it is now. It was hand-drawn, and my readers were almost entirely comprised of the people that were in it. I've been expanding, and I have plans for a full story and work to make it more accessible to people who don't know us personally, but I felt it was only right to recreate what I had done so far. With some changes, of course. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work out. This comic, in particular, was rather difficult, since it was comprised entirely of inside jokes. I was faced with a conundrum; if I changed it, I would have to do a major rewrite of the next few comics, but if I left it, no one would know what would be going on.

My decision was to give the reader a basic understanding of these inside jokes with bonus strips. I highly recommend re-reading these two before starting this one.

You've been warned.

13: Simon, Assaulted
