I have some sad news. Considering that I'm struggling to balance several aspects of my life at this time, including work on a masters thesis which is really lagging behind, I need to focus more...and that means leaving the Playground for an unknown period of time. It's not a decision I took lightly, because I've really enjoyed the 2, almost 3 years I've been part of this community, meeting some awesome people along the way and playing in very fine PbP games! But I just can't continue investing so much time and energy while I have papers to write and lots of readings to do.
So this is goodbye. Maybe not forever; I'll see how things are going a few months from now. But I cannot guarantee that I'll be back. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who welcomed me in the Playground and all those Playgrounders with whom I've had the chance to roleplay or simply have rich and entertaining discussions. You know who you are!
Thank you very much! May you have interesting lives and this Playground prosper!

I understand what you're doing Kaiser. I had to do a similar thing to focus on my academics. Good luck, and come back only when you're sure you'll be able to balance everything.
