The Playground changes a lot. I've been here since I was a freshman in high school, and it's very different from what was. Many people that I liked have come and gone. Yet it persists in being good, which is why it's worth sticking around. Come, and get to know the new people. They don't bite.

Yeah, I know things don't stay the same, and there is usually new good to replace the good that has gone... But these days, I'm noticing a disturbing amount of trolling and hurt feelings, and lack of camaraderie. Until the Playground picks itself up again, I don't think I'm coming back.

The Playground is much like real life in that aspect, I think. People coming and going, people you liked becoming people you dislike and vice versa. I've been on the Playground nearly five years (in July, from my old account), and I've seen a lot of people change and grow up. There's a lot of turn over. I've made mistakes and hurt some feelings, too.
But the Playground is my home, and I love so many people here, that as many times as I get upset and think "That's it, I'm done", something wonderful happens, or I meet someone new, and its all worth it all over again.
Also, welcome back, DP. Its always a pleasure when you come home for the holidays/vacation <3

I finished basic training! Probably still won't be around as much as I'd like for a while, 'cause now I gotta do my not-so-basic training.
That said, if anyone has questions pertaining to the Navy's Recruit Training Command (or the United States Navy generally), send 'em my way and I'll answer when I can.
