Well, they are far more experienced and talented avatarists than myself entering, but feedback is good and this sounds fun. Sorry I don't have much art, but here's a bit...

Your avatars are very good. All I can say is add more detail, draw different things or have different poses.

I don't have as many avatars as the other artists around here, but feedback is always good. So, here's some of mine, from most recent to oldest.

Twenty five images, I think.

Thanks! I actually just added two more; one of them is a bit of a different pose. I'll have to keep practing more in the future.

Same here.
Hey, I cherish the tiger you made for me in my signature like I would the autograph of one of my favorite rock star!

By the way, I added a couple of other avatars to my entry, based on some (tweaked) IA trophies I made.

Now, I'll have to get voting...

Waait for meee! I want to play. HOWEVER, it will take some time for me to whittle down the worthwhile avatars. I've done like... a thousand almost, so posting all of them may not be the best idea. Many of them are also shockingly bad, so there's that as well.

To photobucket! *batman music*

Ooh! Discworld Avatars! Let's try to find them all.

Let's see... I see two of the Nan Mac Feegle, I see Susan with Death of Rats, I see two with the Disc Gods playing Mortals (one with cameos by the Oots Thor and Odin), and there's C. M. O. T. Dibbler... Who've I missed? Ooh, There's Cohen the Barbarian!

I think I see another CMOT Dibbler in Christmas Hogswatch Regalia.

Have I missed anyone else?

It's funny to see what people's favorite avatars are and how much different our tastes are. I would have never thought what people would have voted as their favorite of my avatars.

Dr. Bath, you have too many to choose from. And they are all really great. Need I change my votes?

This obviously is a very lax and open democratic process.

DD: If you got all of everyone's entries - and it looks like you did - then thanks, that's a pretty great help I'd consider putting it in the first post, but I don't think I'm gonna have room. I could link it, though...

Alright everyone, I've started tallying the votes. From this point on, NO changing your votes in the original post - if you want to change a vote, tell me in a new post. And entrants, make sure you tell us if you add any more avatars to your entry post.
Feel free to check my tallying, though I haven't gotten very far yet.

Oh, and if anyone's interested, I altered and/or added some votes.

Pfft, whatever. Post it! This is about as much showcase as competition, nonchano.

Turns out it's gonna take even longer than I thought to get internet at home (curse you Telstra! Or the police, if you were actually tapping the house phone of the people who were living here before!). Hopefully this time next week. So, I'll make that the closing... point: When I get my internet back on (hopefully no more than a week from now), and finish tallying the votes, entries will be closed, and voting a few days after that. Don't panic too much folks (especially those folks who only read this around that time), you'll get plenty of warning, and I'll be reasonably forgiving of slightly late entries. If you're lucky.

Also, y'all should go around spreading the word! I may try to make a banner this evening, and you'd be doing me a favour if you'd display it and get some last-minute (week, whatever) entries and votes.
