Re: ShneekeyTheLost vs Pharaoh's Fist - ToS
How are you hiding without cover?
You see before you a creature of imposing might. Feathered wings sprout from his back, and he wears impressive looking plate mail in the oriental style, complete with Oni Mask in the shape of some oriental demon. His armor is spiked, and shaped to resemble an oriental Oni, fearsome and lethal. He bears the traditional Daisho of Katana and Wakizashi, still sheathed.
He begins by flying straight up 30' to get a more commanding view of his surroundings and to get out of immediate reach.SpoilerQuite possibly, the best rebuttal I have ever witnessed.

Re: ShneekeyTheLost vs Pharaoh's Fist - ToS
Sorry, meant B11.
And... this arena never had a set height so we might need to address that now...

I'll spend my second move action to draw a bow and remain hidden at B11

Re: ShneekeyTheLost vs Pharaoh's Fist - ToS
Shall we say 60' for the height?
And at B11, you do not have LoS on my character.
Takahashi flies forward to F5 (still 30' above ground) and shouts "Coward! Show yourself and face your death with Honor!"

Ok, I'll keep my weapons on me then.
The original had a height of 30 feet. Let's go with that.
Move to D11
Move Silently: (1d20+6)[17]
Hide: (1d20+8)[11]
Listen check to determine where you are: (1d20+2)[18]
I shall draw my longbow as a free action during the move.Last edited by Pharaoh's Fist; 2009-09-22 at 09:47 PM.

Re: ShneekeyTheLost vs Pharaoh's Fist - ToS
16 does not hit my flat-foot AC
As the attack breaks your Hide, Takahashi moves to E11, and down to 25'. Then, as a Standard Action, uses Intimidate to Demoralize, using Mass Staredown to affect every opponent within 30' of me. (1d20+34)[39].
Your defense is (1d20 + character level or Hit Dice + target’s Wisdom bonus [if any] + target’s modifiers on saves against fear. Thanks to his feat Imperious Command, if you fail this check, you are Cowering for your next round, then Shaken for the round thereafter. The ToS playtest states that this is NOT a mind-affecting ability.SpoilerQuite possibly, the best rebuttal I have ever witnessed.

Re: ShneekeyTheLost vs Pharaoh's Fist - ToS
As a Move Action, Takahashi lands gracefully next to his opponent, within melee range.
As a free action, he pulls his Wakizashi (Quick Draw) and utters
"You are not a worthy enough foe for my Katana to drink of your lifeblood. Die, then, like the commoner you are!"
He uses his Swift action to gain a Move Action from his Belt of Battle. He uses this Move Action to Demoralize (his armor enchantment allows him to demoralize on a move action). (1d20+34)[53]
He then uses his Standard Action to make an attack with his Wakizashi
Attack: (1d20+17)[18]
Damage: (1d6+1)[7]
At this point, I think the match is pretty well over. Your character cannot beat my roll, even if he rolls a 20 and I roll a 1 to not be Shaken. Every round, he will Demoralize as a move action, then attack with his standard action. Does your character have any possible way out of this combo?SpoilerQuite possibly, the best rebuttal I have ever witnessed.
