Edit: Here are the first two of the five comics I've made to introduce the new plot. I hope they're alright.
The torsos seem a bit off to me (especially the female ones), and that torch in the first comic's third panel is very badly done. I went a little filter-crazy. Seriously, these things are awesome!

And we meet my two characters in this plot (what should we call it, anyways?): King Brassclaw, and Malerei (the female Peacekeeper). The latter probably won't have much of a role, but she is really fun to draw.
Mal's extremely paranoid, and was sent on the supposedly simple mission to try and break her of her near-paralyzing fear of the dark.
It occurred to me that while a flow of comics may be overwhelming, making anybody who wants to enter wait is unfair. Hopefully, people will want to join.

The magic missiles seem a bit weird to me. Also, the filter I've chosen for King Brassclaw's spellcasting is a little hard to read. Basically, he's casting Dancing Lights and Magic Missile.

Only after I started this comic did I learn that Brassclaw is at best bloodthirsty, and at worst downright psychotic. In other news, that cloak looks a bit blocky.

I really dislike the first panel. Also, the dwarves annoy me for some reason (maybe because I forgot to give them weapons). The lack of a real punchline is also driving me nuts.
However, I felt I should get this comic out there. It gives characters two fairly obvious entrance points, and gives me an excuse to draw a landshark.
Plus, now I can work on these Random Kills. Stupid hard-to-draw templates...

(the reason i'm mostly fighting skimmer is because i already had her template and am not sure how fighting three or four people at once would go. I'll try and make other templates when i have time.)
