Another one of my piece-meal undead...
Fat Glob
(Open Spoiler for Stat block table)
Spoiler

The yellowish white mound smells of rot and tallow. It exudes a trembling pseudo-pod.

Constrict (Ex): With a successful grapple check a fat-glob deals automatic slam damage, fatiguing blow effect, and the opponent can not breath that round (and thus may eventually suffocate). The opponent takes a -4 penalty against the fatiguing blow.

Easily Controlled (Ex {Su?}): For purposes of how many total hitdice may be created or controlled via any means, including, but not limited to via the Command Undead feature sub-feature of the class feature of a cleric who Rebukes undead, and via Create Undead a fat glob counts as only 1/4 its actual hitdice. They still count as their full hitdice for purposes of determining the initial results of turning/rebuking attempts.

Engulf (Ex): Although it moves slowly, a fat glob can simply mow down creatures of equal or smaller size class as a standard action. It cannot make a slam attack during a round in which it engulfs. The fat glob merely has to move over the opponents, affecting as many as it can cover. Opponents can make opportunity attacks against the glob, but if they do so they are not entitled to a saving throw. Those who do not attempt attacks of opportunity must succeed on a Reflex save or be engulfed (see following chart for DCs for standard fat globs); on a success, they are pushed back or aside (opponent’s choice) as the glob moves forward. Engulfed creatures are subject to the glob’s fatigue and suffocation, and are considered to be grappled and trapped within its body. The save DC is Strength-based and includes a +1 racial bonus.

Fatiguing Blow (Su): A creature struck by a Fat Glob of less than Colossal size must make a fortitude save or become fatigued. If they are already fatigued (regardless of source) they become exhausted as normal. In the case of a Colossal Fat Glob, the creature is Exhausted on a failed save and fatigued on a successful one. These conditions last for a number of minutes equal to the Fat Glob's hit-dice at which point the creature reverts to its previous status if the condition hasn't been cured before then. The DC is technically Constitution based but since undead have no constitution scores, the DC is simply (10 + 1/2 hit-dice). A table for standard fat globs follows.

Fire Vulnerability (Ex): Fat globs take half again as much damage from fire.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, a fat glob must hit with its slam attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can constrict.

Single Actions Only (Ex): Fat globs have poor reflexes and can perform only a single move action or attack action each round. A fat glob can move up to its speed and attack in the same round, but only if it attempts a charge.

Splut(Ex):[/b] Fat globs are immune to falling damage unless they land on spikes or such. This makes allows their slow speed to be overcome by using them as catapult or trebuchet ammunition.

Stability (Ex): A fat glob gains a +8 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground). As an ooze-like creature, tripping one is impossible (although tripping rules might be allowed to remove one from a surface it is climbing at the GM's discretion).

Apathy (Ex): A fat glob may not make attacks of opportunity.

Ooze-like (Ex): A fat-glob can not be flanked, and can squeeze through small spaces a cracks as well as a typical ooze of their size.

Creating a Fat Glob: A large amount of unprocessed animal fat (so no tallow or what-have-you) must be piled up in one or more piles. Each pile will become a single fat-glob with Hit-Dice as indicated on the following table. Piles of less than 60 pounds weight may not be animated. The fat need not be particularly fresh at all, but must be reasonably clear of meat, bone, skin etc, and any foreign materials or weight biologically transformed to another state do not count towards the weight requirements. The fat need not be contiguous, or even from the same type of creature (let alone individual). The material components must be placed near the center of each pile to be animated.Next Touch of Fatigue must be cast over the mass followed by either Animate Dead(for fat globs of under 80 hit-dice) OR Create Undead(for fat globs of any hit-dice). Note that for purposes of creating and controlling undead fat-globs count as only 1/4 there actual hit-dice.
Open spoiler for table
Spoiler

Spellcasting:
Add 1 Small Fat-Glob to the list of things that may be summoned with Summon Undead I (and multiples for later spells).
Add 1 Medium Fat-Glob to the list of things that may be summoned with Summon Undead II (and multiples for later spells).
Add 1 Large Fat-Glob to the list of things that may be summoned with Summon Undead IV (and multiples for later spells).

Play-test Data
Spoiler

EDIT: Linking these for cross-referencing purposes, although I am not sure if the Spell is a good idea at all since it reduces the flavor by bypassing the skill checks.

I'd call this Trait 'Apathy' or 'Lazy.'

Neat idea. Fat glob sounds a little meh as a name. Perhaps something a bit more pretentious like Hunger Given Form, or Embodiment of Hunger, or Gluttonous Mass?

Either someone engulfed should take some sort of ability damage as their body is drained of fat (Con or Dex?), or after they have suffocated, the creature should be able to transform the dead flesh into fat to repair damage to itself / feed. (Maybe gaining 5 hp / HD of the consumed target or something, which heals any damage it's taken, with the remainder counting as temporary extra hit points for 1 hour. Even more ideally, the creature might be able to grow in this manner, and whenever it has 12 temporary hit points, it adds another HD, creating the chance for it to 'accidentally' outgrow it's controller and break free, as it becomes larger and harder to control the more it feeds.)

While other undead 'create spawn,' the fat glob instead devours creatures to make itself larger, like a Barghest.

Good idea, I have changed it, although I might vacillate between the two. The questionmarks in the original represented my uncertainty if the quality should exist in the first place. Note that it isn't mentioned in the stat block.

Those sound a lot cooler... but I don't know if that is what I WANT... the series this is supposed to be a part of are mostly mindless canon fodder, like skeletons and zombies. A few of them are intelligent, but this one definitely falls into "disposable minion" category. "Gluttonous Mass" might be an acceptable name though...

Hmmm... interesting idea, but these particular ones are laziness/sloth, not gluttony/hunger/greed. I might make another related creature that is intelligent, much stronger and faster, but still made out of fat to fit the concept you suggest, but I will probably let you do it instead since you seem inspired in that direction and I have enough ideas I can work on for the moment.

I am considering having it so a necromancer can pack more fat on top of one and recast the creation spells (but the material component only has to be valuable enough for the amount ADDED). This would grant extra HD and associated hp max, but maybe not CURRENT hit-points (which would have to be added separately, probably via Inflict spells). This would allow necromancers to hunt whales at their leasure to create the REALLY big ones (which have masts attached to a keel stuck through them turning them into nearly unsinkable sailing ships (although they also tend to be very slow...) rather than having to do everything all at once....

Pre-oblivion bump for more feed-back...
Are people just thinking they are good, but remembering I doin't like people saying that they like something if they won't say WHAT it was that I did right with it? Because even that is better than NOTHING...

EDIT: Silly Zooming brains probably coming next... other than that, what do people want to see first? The options are as follows:
-Crawling Livers (slow, but Regen/Fast Healing, with a poison touch-attack (supernatural, not exuding actual poison).
-Skulking Bladders (no physical attacks worth mentioning, but stealthy and can poison wells and food and such in very effective ways)
-Slithering Spinal Cords (Paralysis by touch-attack, then (weakly) attempt to strangle if nothing else is around to finish the job)
