Nidohivetyrant? Come on that's too obvious.
Actually, for a while I was drawing a blank on what Limbaw's next pokemon should be, so I asked [YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE] on Steam for a suggestion. They said Techpriest Magos Nidoking and my first response was

Well first off Snivies can't learn Endeavor, so it wouldn't work.
Second, Lord Perior didn't use Endeavor. It was one damaging ability and one damaging move, both were 1-hit KOs.

Now then, who says that meltaguns fire beams of blue/purple?
Questions? Comments? Critique?
in Space Marine it was more pinkish. in DoW2, they were sorta... light-blueish. DoW1 didn't actually have meltaguns for space marines but i'm pretty sure it was the same purple-blueish color for SoB in soulstorm.
(Addendum: Said door was originally a portal to the webway, the Eldar's galaxy-spanning (for lack of a better phrase) "tunnel" system in the warp. Essentially, bits of real, sane space in the chaos of madness that is all thoughts in the universe. But the webway connection cracked and demons can now poor through the door. So the Emperor has to keep the door closed with his unprecedented, unbeatable-by-definition psychic might)
Also, what just exploded?
I wanna ask a Custodian:
What kind of weapon is that spear-thing you guys wield? Specifically, what is that blade-thingie?

in Soulstorm Meltas fire blue un-meltalike lasers. It's...actually pretty cool, but very un-meltalike. It's worth noting the Sisters of Battle's flamers fired teal flames as well. In the Dark Crusade campaigns Eliphas and Thule can get a Meltagun wargear, but it basically fired a yellow un-meltalike ball. But it was insanely powerful so I can't complain. the Firestorm over Kronus mod added meltaguns which fired what appeared to be bursts of golden molten lava. Spess Mahreen's meltaguns were bluish where the muzzle flare would be and fanned out into orangish energy.
My headcanon for meltaguns is that they look and act like a charged Plasma Beam shot from Metroid Prime (1) except pale golden colored instead of red-orange. Seriously. The plasma beam in Metroid Prime is pretty much a meltagun.

in DoW2 you could give several commmander units meltaguns that fired blue-white beams of energy. In SM they were purplish (though, that game stretches canon anyway so i guess you can ignore it)
Also, i'm confused. Who's ultimate pokemon was she referring to? 'Thine' means 'your', right? does Lord Perior have pokemon of his own.

Well yeah, that's obvious, she says his bloody name, but then what does it mean? "Lord Perior, I must warn you of your ultimate pokemon..." And perior says something about juxtaposing weakness onto her allies...

You did, and the butterfly thing couldn't have used spore because it used fire dance/spin

Edit; and the fact that it happened before any attacks were called out.
Yeah, I can see that, though the names aren't too important, you can still identify who's on what side...I hope.
As for the latter, rule of funny.

Well first off Lord Perior isn't a Mewtwo so that's not a possibility.
Second, yeah. You're right, pronoun fail. I was thinking "thine" meant "their."
On closer examination, apparently there is no shakespearean pronoun for 3rd person plural, so...comic fix.
AKA the most minor fix i've ever had to make for a comic ever.
Re: Well That Was Unexpected Thread II: Now with 230% more lasers!
Okay, so this pokemon arc is barley canon, but even so Lord Perior is the best Snivy that ever was and ever will be.
And also, I was going to rant about how calling something the "ultimate whatever" basically just means it's last in a series and not that it's necessarily the best, but then I realised it has all sorts of applicable synonyms to that situation.
Re: Well That Was Unexpected Thread II: Now with 230% more lasers!
That Snivy can casually and royally kick my ass any time of the day. He's awesome.
Also, to that discussion up there, I believe Marnia is trying to warn Lord Perior about the Alakazam. It's early to know, but I think Lord Perior's Snivy will come back to hurt him once that one is out. But again, he might as well also kick his ass without losing the monocle.

...absolutely nothing. WTF?
I just uploaded the ACTUAL fix 7 times on photobucket. It apparently doesn't want me changing that ONE WORD for some stupid reason.
