So I was looking through some DnD spells and I found this interesting one, Brain Spider. Mind affecting spell that lets you read thoughts of up to 8 people. Then I saw the
Material Component and I just couldn't resist.

Hey, I can make comics for my own amusement too ya know!
Comic 295 is up. A bit more development on WTF is with Kayl. (I'll give you a hint, at one point someone did guess correctly
)
Also you'll notice a tiny text bubble error in panel 1. Inkscape was glitching and it wouldn't let me fill it in, i'll see if I can fix that later.

1) Im not saying anything
2) Dragonnoids are a homebrew race I made of dragonlike beings. They're almost identical to dragons except for their relative stunted size, bipedal posture, and they don't grow past Medium sized. The same way that Rand and Marnia are a homebrew scaleyfolk race (so they're not lizardfolk.)
Comic 296 is up. I had a bit of fun making this one.

Last two comics have been really good. Great storytelling. Glad that has (probably) been explained (I mean, for all we know, she could be lying, but this sounds pretty probable).

I had the idea for Comic 295 for a VERY long time, however 296 was a bit of a random idea that came to me the next day.

Fix'd. You were running 2 comics at the time so I had no way of knowing.
And Comic 298 is up. Not really a comic that continues on the storyline, more of a mini gag.
And with that Chapter 5 (I think) is done. I was kind of hoping to end it at 300 for obvious reasons but I can't think of a comic 299 and comic 300 idea that would make sense for it to take place on the same chapter, so we're just leaving it there. So i'm going on haitus for the next week as per tradition.
Also, in order to make an adequate (and extremely late) anniversary strip, i'd really appreciate it if everyone could jot down some non-storyline based questions you'd like some of my characters to answer, either questions about their backstory, advice to real life problems or any of the like.

Well considering he has to concentrate on a spell he's not really casting for 48 hours, even after a few minutes you'd probably be pissed off too.

Comic 301 is up. I love making 4 panel comics.
And the reason it's a sprite comic is because I felt like it. Inkscape is working fine, computer problems are minimal, I just wanted to make a sprite comic.
Also, I made this. It's the first 6 panels of an incomplete version of Comic 301 that I wasn't able to finish due to...blocks. Or it just was a crappy comic. -_-
...or maybe it is complete I dunno.

Okay, due to popular demand Comic 301 alternate will now be Comic 301 and vice versa. I still like the 4-panel comic 301 though. :P
Comic 302 is up. This time there's only 1 version of the comic and it's in my regular style(s). It's post valentines day and love is still in the air.

Wait a sec, you notice the subtle missing arrow that's supposed to be pointing to Kayl in panel 4 but not the obviously incomplete bubbles in Panel 3?

Also, I don't know if you noticed but in this comic i've laid out some clues as to what Kayl's gender might be.
