It'll probably be about a day after it begins to thaw that we can get into it. We've been dealing with -12 celcius weather most nights though, so there hasn't been a lot of progress there. Might be able to get in within the next half week though.

I understand that you dislike your phone and internet provider or is the network related to the telly?, but was the excessively long rage really necessary? I don't really have such problems with that particular matter, but I think a way to relieve stress would help.

ION, my friend told me today that he was going to a Furry party. This surprised me, since as far as I knew, he wasn't a furry, and I wasn't exactly sure how..."hardcore" it was going to be. After asking a bit about the situation, it turns out he just knows some people who are and they asked him to come to the party, and they're really not that bad.

I kinda felt bad for giving him the third-degree on it though...has this ever happened to anyone else? You hear about something someone's doing that seems like it might be questionable, and you ask about it a bit to make sure you understand what's going on, and then when you try to explain why you were so suspicious about it later, it just makes you look like a bigot?

Well, y'know, you hear one thing about those parties and you don't know whether to be disgusted by them or worried about their safety.

As it stands, furries have a bad enough reputation for how they behave at furry events, especially if in fursuits, that bigoted or not, I'd feel justified in giving them an askance look.

Then again, it's only slightly more bizarre to me in terms of overall weirdness than going to any kind of BDSM enthusiast get together, but actually slightly less weird to mention to a friend that one is going to it.

Some topics are just going to make people wonder and ask questions as the best reaction.
