You must be very skillful, to play piano and French Horn. Do you play in the school Brass Band club?

As for translation, there are a number of people around here with some knowledge of Japanese who might be able to help if asked. Though honestly, I think your English is good enough that for most parts you just need a proofreader.

I don't know this language, so it is hard to use it. Maybe just change "Caller" again. It is hard to do translation, and then must edit every page again. Maybe I will do small comic just english version.

Glad to hear the concert went well.

The translation problem didn't occur to me at all - silly of me.

Doing something on the web might still work, if you have more time now that the concert's done. You might be able to get volunteers to help with translation, though organizing a community could be a bit of a time sink. And if you don't need to make a living off the comic, then all the little things you could use to get money from it - donations, incentive art, etc. - could be used as seed money for publishing, either the comic itself or something else entirely.

Of course, that all depends on the relative costs of web hosting and printing, which I don't know anything about...

PayPal is a common way to do online payments. If you have a credit card it's easy to use - people pay in to your PayPal account from theirs, PayPal take the money from their credit cards, and you put the money on to yours. It means you only have to trust PayPal with your card details, rather than everyone you buy from (and you don't have to worry about handling customers' information properly, either).

You might still get ripped off if you send someone money and they never send you what you paid for, but the risk of buying something for $10 and then finding the seller has charged you for the cost of their trip to Vegas is a little lower.

Actually, I've found that once you play piano, a lot of other instruments suddenly seem super easy because you don't have to split your brain in half and have your hands doing different things.

String instruments are still witchcraft to me, though.

Payment services online, using a checking account or similar. Elagune's used it as how I pay him for commissions.

They mean something like setting it in a pre-existing thing like (off the top of my head) Cowboy Bebop. And then the camera swings right from the main characters to some others and focuses on the original characters and never goes back to the 'main' cast. Basically a bait and switch.

I'm pretty sure Prime was joking when he said that.

Personally, I would be happy to wait for your book. It doesn't sound like you have given up on getting it published, and I think it would be a lot easier for everyone if we waited until then.

Hey Kasanip!
I never post here, just thought i would say congrats on your performance!

If you are interested in getting a group of artists to all put stuff in for something to publish, let me know. I do a little drawing on the side. It might give me something to push to make something nice for.

Anyways, see ya soon IC or PM!

Congratulation on the concert. And that website looks really cute. I made a personal website once, but it ended up unused after just a short while because I forgot what the password was <_<.

And banthesun, I ended up choosing a harmonica, because guitar is soo passe>_> (hipsterrr...) but I realized that I really can't even distinguish notes... yet!

Oh, and I drew something related to you!

I was going to say that it's vacation time for me too.

But then I remember that I don't have vacations anymore. I'm already graduated.

Sigh.

Of course there is Obon, so I must travel for vacation also. I want to watch clouds outside.

It is my most famous character Mir. I am happy you can see Sayaka.

Yes I like Nichijou very much. You can see my avatar for long time now (^^;;; )

It is long time since to draw Kamome. But to play game heroine makes me think of Kamome.
It is best part at 2:20
So it is small sketch.

Selamat pagi.
Yeah, I thought as much when I first saw it, but then I thought you might've just liked its art style.

I didn't really care for the series initially, but after 7 episodes or so it really started to pick up.

Oh! For a long time I've had this feeling that your avatar was somehow familiar, and I just now realized the reason. I feel a little silly for not having noticed that before.

I couldn't help but smile and laugh as soon as I saw that sketch. It's really cute and lighthearted, probably one of my favorites.

Looking at sky today, there was the thought "I want to make expression." Returning from vacation, it is a time to do that, so some sketch were successful.

It is for BleachITP.
I have not drawn for game in long time because no inspiration. But there was a little, so to prepare for the Episode of Sayaka.

She is new character "Eris." Maybe dark heroine character? She is a witch. It is just a fast sketch, to listen to "Magia" for it.
But something shows a little improving I felt, so to post it.

I think both drawings are quite good relative to what you've done before. I also think your sketch shows signs of improvement since it's all around pretty detailed for a fast sketch.

Speaking of music, have you listened to any of the collaborations between MiddleIsland and other groups? I find them pretty unique and refreshing to listen to.

Seeing the "Arts and Crafts" forum, it seems many people trying to learn to draw. I don't have very much skill, but is there something that is desired I can help for?

Maybe this forum is "How Kasanip learns to speak English," so I want to help somehow.
