But, I understand if it is to be intimidating to [play a game and not understand system]. However, Kamome is such a character I love very much. But such a system played I don't understand.

To compare of west games like infamous Dungeons&Dragons, rules of Ryuutama are very easy. Rules of NW are a little difficult.

Banthesun found some translation of http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Ni...he_2nd_Edition so maybe rules are a little easier to know.
If desire to join but nervous of rules, please be reassured these will be beginner games.
I'll go ahead and join either/both, then.

For me, if you'll teach me about the system from the basic, I think I'll join Ryuutama then

I have a character concept that I think would fit it really well.

I'm... Not sure which of the two games I'd join in. To be honest both sound like a lot of fun so I'm not sure which of the two I'd rather join in; that and my time atm is less than ideal.

I like Ryuutama, it has a nice feel to it. If anyone's ever watched the anime or read the manga version of Spice and Wolf (Wolf and Spice?), it feels kind of like that to me.

I know Kasa has been in Kyoto and unable to post until today, so that's probably part of it.

I'll say you've been busy. I am psyched for Ryuutama!

Also, invincible Eris is hilarious considering actual Eris. She could always make an appearance in Night Witch or something.

Sorry about changing my mind, but after looking over everything again, and seeing who'll be in it, I've actually come to a decision, so I'll join the Ryuutama game, if there's still room.

Lovely pictures Kasanip

Now I'm unsure which of the two to join, if I have the time to join. Both sound wonderful, but I may lean towards Ryuutama now. Still not sure yet

To announce, Ryuutama game has begun. It can be seen here. PM was also sent to players.

Night Wizard 2 game to have A Rainy Knight who expressed interest.
To start this game after sometime. To do both startings together would be too difficult for me (it is so much to explain!).
If not so much interest, maybe GMNPC can be used, I wonder?

Maybe to put Eris in Night Wizard game!
Actually it could be said, Night Wizard is such a system that all of my characters could be played in this game.

Such an image of classroom to sit Mir, Kamome, Eris, Tomoya, Sayaka, Takara and Eri, Mystletinn and Non... it is a fun thought. Maybe sometime to sketch such an idea.

But I think players would be annoyed of such an overbearing style if it was tried in game.

I'm sorry, but Ryuutama became 6 players, so it is full. However, if it is desired, of course you can join Night Wizard game.
It is known Starsign likes to play good characters, so I think such a game might be enjoyed too.

Nice pictures. Invincible Eris is so amusingly smug.

I would consider joining Night Wizards, but I am currently close to my game limit and I don't want to push it, so I will just stay a watcher for now. Have fun with your games!

In the same game Eris is in, my own character's a half giant with a big two handed frost giant-sized sword. I just got mental images of him trying to break through her shield, with little to no avail.

I'm going to have to apologize Kasanip, but I won't have time for another game at this time. Perhaps later though?

In that same game, my character was an alchemist made of spiders. I imagine your character could slice him in a clean, vertical slash only to reform right after. (I planned on getting him a lot of Physical Toughness if I stayed for long enough)

Of course for the game I'm in now, I more imagine my character simply stopping the blade by grabbing it

'dunno. Your minotaur has more advantages than my half giant. (your spider guy would be annoying to pin down though. I guess I'd have to leave my sword through his chest just so ice would start to build over him. THEN I smash.

Wait, I thought Murdok had 10 advantages by the time I joined in the last game... Oh well, I'm focusing on improving Drallic's Toughness over his Strength as this one goes on (possibly gonna stop at 4 or 5 ranks of Toughness, I can't decide! )

Also don't expect you can just leave the sword in Alf, (my spider guy) cause he can very easily break himself apart and reform without it. That's IF you can hit him in the first place Though yeah, Alf just did not have the number of advantages everyone else had so he'd probably get destroyed (for a time anyway)

Thank you! Yes, Eris is a smug character. It is very satisfying to play such a character.

Yes, I have heard of this TRPG [天羅万象・零]. But never have played this game.
However, I know天羅WAR because of SRS, so it can be played with Alshard.

I am happy a TRPG game will come to the West. Recently there was a thread to ask about difference in Japanese and Western TRPG, so maybe with such a showing it will become popular.

That system does look interesting, maybe I should throw some money at it once my personal finances are less dire than they are now.

Also, Nina looks like a really badass mage thanks to the dynamic pose and the smugness radiating from Eris is hilarious.

Was that because of the setting itself, or just that you weren't particularly into playing as your spider-man?

Oh boy, how do I explain?

...Actually, I'd rather not explain. It's a very complicated issue and frankly it would derail this thread. I will say that both of what you said are correct, but there is just much more to it than that.

Now that you mention it, I seem to recall this being gone over at some point in the OOC anyway, so I should probably have just checked there in the first place...
