For decades King Arthur and his court have stood proud as exemplars of all things knightly and chivalrous, but of late the corruption seeping into the hearts of men has found its way even into Camelot itself. In recent years, the great realm has fallen into disrepair, as knights squabble amongst themselves over titles and tributes, forgetting their roles as guardians of the common folk. Even the King himself, once a paragon of knightly virtue, has of late seemed brooding and withdrawn, disturbed by rumors of adultery between his wife and one of his closest knights.
But the denizens of Camelot have little time to reflect on their woes, for a month ago a messenger arrived, reporting the landing of a mighty army on Britain's shores. At it's head was Mordred, son of Arthur by incest, the personification of all the sins of the realm and it's good King. Raising an army, the King marched forth, the two armies met on the field of Camlamn, drawing up battle-lines on either side.
But the night before the battle was to be joined, a few knights of Camelot were found dead in their beds, stabbed treacherously through the heart even as they lay in their sleep. As dawn came, the denizens of Camelot were forced to confront the harsh reality that amongst them were traitors - secret supporters of Mordred's cause, who would break all the rules of chivalry to put him on the throne.
And thus it was that the mighty battle of Camlamn was decided not just by prowess on the field, but by a game of cloaks and daggers within the Arthurian camp itself...
THE OOC:
Spoiler
Hey guys, so I've been thinking of running a series of WW games based on the Arthurian legends for a while, but I've never narrated before and would be unsure about my ability to run really big games. So I decided to try and test myself with a smaller game first - but it turns out there was a slot open this week, so here I am!
THE RULEZ:
Spoiler
Days last 48 hours, Nights 24/48 depending on my schedule. Helgraf's rule of interference is NOT in effect. Point in red and PM me all night actions. RPing is encouraged, but not required. Autolynches happen if there is no point for 3 consecutive days.
Due to the WW schedule, I'd like to have recruitment done by the end of the week if possible. I'll start if I have at least 25 players by the end of the week, and am looking to take no more than 30.
THE ROLEZ:
Spoiler
Team Camelot:
Spoiler
King Arthur (Alpha Mason) – Head of the Knights of the Round Table, and rightful King of Camelot, Arthur wields the deadly sword Excalibur. If he is night-killed, there is a 50% chance that he kills a random wolf in his death-throes. If he is lynched, the last person to join the lynch will be killed.
Arthur also has a one-off chance to send a PM to the narrator containing the names of Lancelot and Guinevere. If he guesses correctly, they are removed from the game, and Arthur gains the powers of a baner.
Arthur starts off knowing the Masons, and he scries as himself.
Knights of the Round Table (Masons) – As Arthur’s chosen, you have sworn oaths of chivalry and loyalty. Now, in Camelot’s darkest hour, you will be put to the test. They start off knowing each other and King Arthur.
Morgan Le Fay (Seer) – A powerful sorceress, you are the half-sister of King Arthur. Previously an enemy of the Round Table, you have been reconciled to your family and wish to see their success. Once per night, you may scry another player and learn their role. Starts off not knowing the Masons.
Knights (Villagers) – As the lesser nobility of Camelot, you may choose one person each day to lynch. Other than that, commit yourself to God and pray that you survive.
WIN CONDITION – LYNCH ALL WOLVES
Team Good(ish):
Spoiler
Sir Lancelot and Guinevere (Lovers/Baner) – Your love for each other is so great that neither can survive without the other. If one of you dies, the other dies as well.
But as Queen and Royal Knight, your forbidden love is punishable by death under the laws of Camelot. Caught between two sides, you are faced with a dilemna – if Mordred succeeds, you will be put to death as Arthurian supporters, but if Arthur discovers your adultery neither of you can hope to survive.
Once per night, Guinevere may instruct Lancelot to protect someone with her royal writ. That person may not be killed that night, and all scries against the person will reveal no result. Lancelot CANNOT be the target of this bane, though Guinevere can.
Lancelot is also a Mason, and scries as one. Guinevere scries as herself.
WIN CONDITION – LYNCH ALL WOLVES, BUT ARTHUR CANNOT SURVIVE THE GAME.
Team Mordred:
Spoiler
Mordred (Alpha) – Pretender to the throne, Mordred is the illegitimate son of Arthur. He may choose his sworn knights that he uses to invade Camelot. If Mordred sends in the night-kill that kills Arthur, no wolf will die. Scries as a Wolf.
Mordred’s Knights (Wolves) – Recruited by Mordred, your job is to place him on the throne of Camelot. Each night, one Wolf may send in a night-kill based on a turn order randomly determined beforehand by the narrator.
Morgause (Devil) – Half-sister of Arthur, and mother of Mordred, Morgause wishes to place her son on the throne. Each night, she may scry one person and learn their role. Does not start off knowing the wolves.
WIN CONDITION – KILL ARTHUR AND HAVE NUMBERS EQUAL TO THE SURVIVING GOOD ROLES

Re: Camelot WW 0.5 - Le Morte D'arthur (Recruiting)
I'm in, but your french is slightly off. Morte is the female version, it should be Le Mort d'Arthur (Note also capitalisation of A in Arthur as it's a name, whereas de is an insignificant word and does not require such)
"Well, the Great and Powerful Trixie can't actually transport you to Equestria... But!
The Great and Powerful Trixie can beat you over the head until you think that's what happened!"
Re: Camelot WW 0.5 - Le Morte D'arthur (Recruiting)
Ummm, so the masons start knowing the baner?

Re: Camelot WW 0.5 - Le Morte D'arthur (Recruiting)
@Helgraf: Yes, the masons know the baner, but they don't know that he is the baner - and I doubt Lancelot has any incentive to tell them who he is, considering he needs to get rid of King Arthur.
@Thufir: Eh, I wouldn't know, I'm just copying the title of my text. Note that this game will not be 100% faithful to the events of the Arthurian Cycle as its more of a testing ground for me. If I pull it off successfully I'll start a series of games based chronologically on Thomas Malory's text.

-hands sword to Orzel-
@BishFish: I'm looking for about 1 in 5 wolves and 1 in 5 good, with the wolves possibly having one or two more members than Team Good since the baner is sorta in contact with Team Good right away.
