Which is saying something, considering that Chuck Norris... was Chuck Norris.
Re: Abhorsen's WW: The Beginning of the End [recruiting!]
Abhorsen's The books will be explained now:
There are two Kingdoms in this. The Old and New Kingdom. In the Old Kingdom magic works, in the new New Kingdom it doesnt. And technology does not function in the Old Kingdom while it does in the new, and any technology that gets too close to magic stops functioning (usually Free/Dark Magic). These Kingdoms are divided by what the they call "The Wall." Near the Wall magic works as well even if you are in the New Kingdom.
This will be where the WW takes place: the wall (mainly) as well as the Old/New Kingdom.
Usually Necromancers raise the dead, but the Abhorsen (a title) is a necromancer who puts the dead back to sleep. His weapon of choice is a sword as well as seven bells which can control the undead (hence the seven bells in this game). In addition he can slip into "Death" itself which has nine layers to it. The farther you go, the more dangerous it is.
The Great Charter is based on the seven bloodlines (which i wont get into too), which allows Charter magic to be used by forming symbols in your head. This is balanced by Free Magic which is not bound by Charter Magic. Necromancers use Free magic to raise the dead. The dead raised by a necromancer can be classified into groups, with the highest being "Greater Undead." From there it goes down.
That was a quick rundown of the book's basics. Hope it helps.

In, but I recommend re-ordering the rules description to put the Players and Bells first. I opened the spoilers in order and got completely confused. I still don't have a clue what that spoiler is about. I'll need to re-read the rules starting with Players, then Bells, then the other rules.

I think I will join after working out the rules, it looks like a standard game with the exception of if a role dies then someone else gets a limited version of that power.
Re: Abhorsen's WW: The Beginning of the End [recruiting!]
Okay, rules seem fair. So if I get a bell, I can't pass it along to a friend, right?
