The Tingle Napalm was entertaining. The moment I said he caught fire, he hit the ground and started to stop-drop-and-roll while making saves. Then I told him it was just tingling, and his character, a pyromaniac, said it wasn't as fun as the real thing... It wasn't that bad, either, since it just gave him a big skill check penalty, and he managed to roll a high enough on his save after a few turns to get rid of it.
I dunno what he thinks just yet, but the comments and remarks his character makes after each trap is pretty entertaining. At one point he said if the guy who built the tomb was still alive, they'd probably be best friends because of the sense of humor the guy obviously had.
Unfortunately, he's my Dark Heresy GM, so I'm scared to over do it.

I fell asleep! I was resting, wondering how to kill some time and I dozed off! Damn this warm summer-like weather! XD
Anyways, 'bout the comic:
Hee, her grandparents look nice, the one with blue hair looks more feminine to me, but then again, what do I know? (Hir right hand in panel 3 looks a little short, imo.)((Yeah, synonyms are forbidden.))
...And it shouldn't be a suprise what is the first thing Janine's looking for in a magic shop...hope she's not planning to use those on Lloyd...
I like the shelves by the way, well not shelves themselves, more what are on them. ;) They even have a crystal ball! And the shelves magically switch places all the time...
Her brother seems to have...an interesting sense of humour. Shooting arrows around... Now I'm wondering is he her little or big brother.
Hmm...wonder if things will start to happen soon. Considering the usual line of plot, we are now somewhat past the "Introducing characters" part, so one could expect that we'd proceed to "Conflict" soon. Then again, when has this comic been particular genre savvy..

Glad to entertain you so!

Janine, Janine, Janine.
Oh, they're not just for enhancing the mood...

I spent a lot of time on the shelves, actually! Glad you caught the crystal ball!
...Just ignore that one bit. I'll have it fixed next comic.

Nice, I was wondering when this would update next. ...So, it'll probably be seconds before Matt and this Luic are at each other's throats. I'm guessing he's the younger brother, by the way. That arrow looks like the elven equivalent of Nerf toys.
On the other hand, I'm the oldest of several kids and I still play with them.

I update on Fridays, and more often once school ends next month!

So Janine's willing to force someone's feelings with a love potion.
Well, I can't say my esteem of her will be positive before a long time.
No. No, that is NOT something she would do. NEVER. Janine would NEVER make someone sleep with her if they explicitly told her no.
Janine may be a borderline nymphomaniac, but she's no rapist. When she said, "Love potion", she was thinking, "Aphrodisiac".

Also, if Serrin is a minor, I'd like to remind everyone that minors, fictional or otherwise, aren't supposed to be shipped on this forum.
The Love Potion you're thinking of: Forces someone to fall in lust with another person, regardless of that that person wants.
The "Love potion" Janine's thinking of and is looking for: Boosts "Performance" and makes the drinker seem more attractive to everyone, but what Lloyd decides to do is his own choice.
(So basically Janine's going to drink it so she'll seem more attractive to Lloyd and be better in the sack, should he decide, "Okay!" But it's still his choice.)

I knew I'd get that kind of lawyering if I didn't specify.
Is she a minor as far as half-elves are concerned?
The last few posts seem to be in favor of my rape theory for Janine's backstory.
Incidentally, I Googled "rape theory" because it sounded like something I'd heard of. It brought up a book entitled "A Natural History of Rape." Should I be terrified or ashamed?

And Coffee, I'm now totally confused on the ages thing. Congratulations. I thought all this time that humans become adults at age 16, but now your making me question that.

Puberty jokes and problems inherent to assigning an age at which one becomes an adult aside, humans become adults at 15 in D&D, half-elves at 20 (according to the PHB/SRD).

Okay, the first part was just annoying and funny.
The second part reaffirms what I thought about what age each race becomes an adult.
Humans start acting like adults at age 10 or so, according to television and movies.
Recently (As in the Vengeance Rising comic thread) Roland has started giving out warnings about handing out Warnings for off-topic stuff. Therefore, I suggest that we keep this thread on-topic, lest we leave this forum without the pure, volatile awesomeness that is Murphy's law.

Just a couple of things: Lloyd's eyes are brown, Matt's eyes are hazel. his tunic is red, and Janine's sword is on the wrong side. (When she's facing to the right, her sword should be facing the viewer; Janine's a lefty.)
But that's HILARIOUS. And I love the "Forest of (Slightly Less) Certain Death"
