New thread... is that lemon cleaner I smell? *sniff sniff*

Oh, wait, that's just the lemons that life handed me. I'm still sick. Blargh.

Anyone have webcomic suggestions? Or something to watch on hulu? I think I've run out of entertainment.

Watch some Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Hulu. It is the ultimate entertainment.

Quit reminding me of that which I cannot have.

Also, I guess boogieing is in order for the new thread, but some took that tradition from me a while ago so I guess it's up to them.

I've had the same fountain pen for almost five years now. I hold it in a really rather weird way and due to the amount of use it's seen and the position in which I hold it, the nib has actually worn down to something resembling a calligraphy pen.

The punchline is that it was in a pack of 3 for £1.99 pens and it's outlasted numerous friends' fancy pens. I did unscrew the nib and put it in the case of another of the pens from that pack almost three years ago though because my old one was pretty much broken and the lid no longer even tried to stay on. It also makes a lot of noise which annoys other people.

Man, you have no idea. I met Ryan Sohmer last year, and he really is Rayne. The only differences I spotted were: Sohmer resembles Rayne's brother in the comic more, and Sohmer is also Jewish.

Also, @ Cycorsis - Darn tootin'! I even got real off-brand name-brand lemon-scented cleaner. I pull out ALL THE STOPS.

When life hands you lemons you should think, think until you can figure out how you got an abstract construct like life to give real physical lemons. then repeat the experience and start a fruit stand specializing in lemons, sell them for cheap and defeat the big fruit corporations, using your vast fortune to conquer the world!!! MWAHAAHAHA!!! Ahem, Sorry ignore that.

Last April... We call it "Valborg" over here. Or, "The-day-in-which-people-drink-their-heads-of-themselves-and-then-drink-some-more" if you like. They started yesterday. *sigh*

Anyway, for today, students from the university in town made a lot of funny styrofoam boats whom they sailed upon down the stream going through the town centre and crash down the rapids (litterary). Pretty funny to see them fall off their disintegrating boats, actually.

Now in the evening, people have built and lit enormous bonfires in different places across town. Perhaps I should take my bike and go down to the nearest one after I've eaten my ice-cream.

OH MAN DID SOMEONE SAY WEBCOMIC SUGGESTIONS. YES SOMEONE DEFINITELY DID.

Problem Sleuth Animation and ridiculosity in the form of a reader driven point-and-click/text-based game parody
Homestuck Unrelated sequel to problem sleuth. Considerably epic.
Guilded Age Comic fantasy thingy. Pretty good
Dinosaur Comics Amusing 6 panels
The Abominable Charles Christopher Beautiful. Read this.
Bad Machinery/ScaryGoRound Wonderful British supernatural shenanigans
Gunnerkrigg Court More of the same but more drama less comedy (still lots of both) DOUBLE READ THIS. It is gorgeous.
Nedroid 'Zany' joke a day strips
Sam and Fuzzy Ongoing epic comedy drama about a man and his bear (also ninjas)
Gastrophobia The twelves tasks of Heracles, but different.
Lackadaisy Cats Prohibition cats
The Non-Adventures of Wonderella The worst superhero of all time
Hanna is not a boy's name Further super-natural shenanigans. Clever and pretty layout and flow
Pear-Pear A pear and mug's flourishing romance. Wordless
Sin Titulo Um. I'm not really sure. One man's descent into madness and despair. Not child friendly (blood and 'adult themes')

That may be enough.

Wow, a new thread. How long does each one normally last? It seems we got to 50 pages pretty quickly.

I've had one of those really exhausting weeks; I'm very glad to be doing absolutely nothing at all this evening, and I'm normally the type who gets bored after a while, if that's a reasonable measure of fatigue.

If you like the ambiguity of Bronte's I aslo highly recommend VIllette, it's a very claustrophobic book which balances nicely between 'normality', insanity and the supernatural wonderfully.

In that case I order you to read The Duchess of Malfi. Bosolo is an amazing malcontent and my favourite one, and don't forget, I've not read Othello yet, so I have no real opinion on Iago.
Bosolo's so misogynistic it's funny, he has some of the best lines, including one that can be paraphrase thusly: "Thy face, when removed of its makeup resembles nothing more than the feotus of an aborted hedgehog."
ANd yes, you can find the entire Malfi text online.
Two recommendations from someone I know has similar tastes to myself... perfect!

That was great.
I love what a good sense of humour these people obviously had as well - something else you wouldn't normally think of immediately with Anglo-Saxons. It's a shame since the riddles are very witty to say the least.

Hey, Rayne has some tender moments.
Like when he drank a bunch of Red Bull and nearly died, causing him to have a hallucination.
Or when he revealed that his pranks on John were largely because they didn't spend any time together.
Or when he found out Kate was living with Noel.
He's just a very... odd... character.

FURTHER IN ADDITION TO PREVIOUS SUGGESTIONS:

Erfworld
anti-HEROES (never updates)
Misfile
A Modest Destiny (Abandoned)
Pokemon-X (A bit behind on updates)
Darths & Droids
Buttersafe
Nerf NOW!!
Between Failures
Path of the Necromancer
Bibliography

Additionally, a video series that could eat up some time if you don't mind the more creepy/horror (although, of course, YourMileageMayVary*), is MarbleHornets (Introduction for Plot | First Entry to Skip That Crap) which is perhaps THE definitive Slender Man series. And if you enjoy it, there's plenty of parodies, homages, and stuff to watch and eat up more time. Looking at a couple of hours for the entire thing, most likely.

*And to eat up more time, TV Tropes.

And I tend to like Daisy Owl. Even if it's named for the main character.

Hey! That comic is average to good, not average to terrible.
You should suggest good things. A bad start is better than no start at all, in some situations.

I said mostly, Daisy Owl is real good. It's sad it doesn't update much anymore.

What do you think my suggestions were? That is 15 of the highest quality webcomics around. They go from Great to Absitively brilliant.

Have you got your rioting hat on then Jibar?

I know I'm not often in the random banter but...

How the hell do you eat a Klondike Bar without it becoming a mess? Every time it becomes more difficult to eat it from one end without it collapsing, and eating around the edges just makes it explode later on.

And then you get to the end and half of the coating has splintered to pieces.
