I have just seen an old man steal a baby.

It was slightly unnerving until I realised he was her dad.

You spelt 'existence' incorrectly, I'm afraid. Better luck next time, old chap.

Perhaps the randomness of the aforementioned banter leaked into the spelling? Such things have been known to happen, I has seen them with my eyeses.

Expulsed isn't even a word according to my spell checker, so I think that's the least of the thread titles problems. It's fixed now, anywho.

Well yes, I suppose 'expelled' would be the right word. I suggest leaving it all the same; its oddities reflect the nature of the thread rather well...

Even if this thread is newly born and very much alive.

I agree with Freddy 5-0, though, that the correct word would be 'expelled', but I like it the way it is now.

Is Jibbers here? No? In that case

*BOOGIES*

This thread has been blessed.

As of yesterday I have only one exam left. I am happy. And we're going to a Japanese restaurant this evening. The weather is nice, I had an 'easy' exam yesterday, another 'easy' exam tomorrow, my friends and I get to go out tonight, I'm going home on Saturday (presumably) and it's the summer holidays.

Today is good. Life is, in fact, good.
ALl I got to do is pack . . . and have a six page holiday reading list.
Life is good.

I have a day and a half left covering this cursed account at work that I haven't got enough training to cover on my own, and no one to ask about stuff since the guy that usually covers it is in South Africa.

However, he's back on Monday and I'll happily hand things over to him again.
After that, I've only got Tuesday left at work before I go on my week and a half vacation to Sweden.
I've started the countdown.

I can vouch for this. I disregarded a similar warning and died a terrible lingering death that ended with my bones liquefying, my eyeballs melting in their sockets and running down my cheeks, and my stomach falling out of my anus.

I got better.

Koorli: packing to go home?

KuReshtin: in South Africa for the World Cup? If so, JEALOUSY.

Dogmantra: today I poured milk on my little brother's breakfast cereal and he announced to me that it tasted funny. It did. We were using a newly opened carton a milk whose "sell-by" date was today, and usually it's good at least a week after the sell-by . . . but then, it was 2% milk, not whole. Yuck. So we opened the whole milk (which also had a sell-by of today) and it was delicious.

I was lucky. I finished a bottle three minutes before it expired. One time I saw someone eat a slice of toast from a loaf of bread a whole hour out of date. There was so much blood.

Default I once spent a summer digging wells, then I grew tired of the hole boring business.

I just came to Boogie with CurlyKitGirl and to bask in that new thread smell.

Oooooh, the RB thread I made is still around. That was a fun time, very controversial, due to the controversy of me not posting enough to have my own thread, but it was still a great honor. I'm doing the old man rambling thing now. Was 2007 so long ago?

Yep, he's there for the World Cup.
That's nothing, though. One of my colleagues from the American Football Referees Association had to put himself as unavailable for games for about a whole month because he was first going to Paris for the French Open tennis tournament, and then he headed to South Africa for the World Cup as well. He won't be back until after 4th July.

Atreyu: I guess it was . . . mine was in '07 as well, but months later. Actually, with this thread I would theoretically be allowed to make a new one (50 later, y'all!) but I don't post enough anymore either.

KuReshtin: Daaaaaang. I'm American so I'm not supposed to like the sport (ha, ha) but seriously . . . I love it. It's my dad's fault. He was going on gleefully last night about how he's gotten me into it after all these years. Yet another father-daughter bonding activity, I guess. As if we're not bonded enough already . . . my parents and I are ridiculously close.

Are you doing okay? I once got my hair cut from being waist-length to being signifcantly less than shoulder-length and that really messed me up, way more than it should have done.

My poor, soft representative-democracy mind has been thrown for a loop. "On Saturday you may bear witness to something rare," said my husband over IRC, and I thought "?", "two grown men watching a wedding ;P" Another "?". People are coming around to our apartment to watch the Swedish royal wedding. And again I posit, ?????. Can't even distill my bafflement into a 'what' or 'why' or other interrogative. These are not tabloid readers.

It's a momentous event in Sweden. We've not had a royal wedding since the king himself got married in the 70s, and now it's the crown princess that's getting married, so it's a pretty big deal.
