It was proving to be an amazingly effective tactic, but he believed it was something anyone could think off. Well not maybe with Wyvern but surely with the Pegasi

The swordsman's rage did little to stop the vampiric onslaught, and Hector sighed as the human fell to the attacks. "Well that was effective." He glanced down at his darkening aura. "No... No!" He slipped away from the battle. (So... I was thinking either up four or back to former position or up one from that? Anybody have a better idea?)

Hector knew he was unable to outrun the thieves, they had been trained to move quickly. He felt the presences arriving quickly next to him, and saw the murky darkness of their forms. His own aura began slowly regaining color, taking on a pinkish tint. "Interesting. Now." He turned towards the first thief, pulling his tome from his robes and moving a hand over the pages. It always intrigued him as to just how many shops carried light tomes in Braille. He opened the book and unleashed the light against the closest thief. "Die, heathen!"

Hector moves right three, down 1 and attacks Thief 1, unless there's a good reason to attack the other thief instead.

He hit the last myrmidon, maybe his luck would hold out. "Let's kill him, Gideon!" He shouted to the archer behind him as he ran on, up to the next swordsman, stopping just short to attack him with some semblance of skill and restraint.

Move up one, left four and attack the myrmidon, Edit: after Gideon arrows him.

Smirking, Julian prepares to strike. The enemy was downright insane to try to take him and Tarvek. Separetely they were good but together it was more like a wall of death. A moving wall as he was about to show

Not letting the allies behind him too much uncovered he makes Aurum go for a low-height quick fly. Almost running part of the way. Once close to the thief vampire, his lance attacks swiping his blade aside harmlessly

Then with a hop and a flap of wings that creates a small breeze forward Aurum makes a quick retreat a couple of steps distant. But it was enough

"Hey! I think I saw a civilian! A living one!"
Move 1 up, 5 west. Attack Vampire 2. Canto, 1 East

Vampire 1 attacks Hector with Iron Sword. Hector takes 8 damage! Hector counters with Lightning for 7 damage! Hector gains 9 XP!

Vampire 2 attacks Hector with Iron Sword. Hector takes 10 damage! Hector counters with Lightning for 21 damage (Critical Hit!). Vampire 3 is slain. Hector gains 28 XP!

"Who is this guy?" Karvek asks Julian as he takes the small man from the back of the wyvern and places him on the ground (because thats how rescues work, or something). "Nice job on those thieves....umm, how did you hit them with that thing on your face?" Karvek asks him, waving his hand in front of Hector's eyes.

Move up one and take Hector from Julian and drop him to the left.

If Gideon misses, Sheron will move up 1 and left 3 to attack the Myrmidon. Otherwise he moves up 1 and left 4.

We're almost there just a couple of enemies left.

Once he spots Hector again, and sees the man taking distance from a vampire so he can strike him with magic, he moves to intercept the man and take him to a safe place

"Hey, blind man! Don't attack me, I'm gonna help you"

Grabbing his arm, Julian hauls into into the wyvern's back, and quickly returns to behind the walls, signaling Karvek to come and put him into the ground

"I found him! He doesn't look vampiry so I thought it was a good idea to save him. Get a healer!"

Move 2 up after Hector made his attack, Rescue, Canto one down

The monk blasted the thief with his magic, killing him instantly. He took the blows well, surprised to see that his aura's color was unchanged. He let another blast fly at the remaining thief, silencing him forever. He saw a huge green aura swoop down and grab hold of him.

"Ah... ha!" He shouted, surprised, noticing his aura return to a healthy green. "I... who are you?"

I say we try to rush up there to try and beat Mode and gang-beat her.

Juilan should visit the village since he can move after he visits.

Usershadow back off from Mode you can't take on by herself.

Ugh, Mercury was supposed to use a vulnerary last turn, I thought. If that could be retconned, she could attack and kill Mode, with no chance of being critted.

If we can do that, I guess we start hitting up the villages and kill the Fighter slowly.
