I will however not use it to break the economy. Primarily because an entire economy dependent on you for one service(blacksmithing, in this case) tends to result in you being somewhat of a target.
Also trying to pick inanimate matter manipulation spells in general, and fabricate is one of those, so... again, never tried a transmuter before.
Session closed. Five players in attendance today. I'll post story stuff here, and loot/xp in the next post.
Traveled down into the Warden's office to find that it was a big room full of books and a large pile of treasure...and that the Warden was a big mean sleeping dragon.
Trying to find the document you needed without waking it proved impossible, and it awoke with a bad temper. Attempting to offer up a very good reason you had broken out of your cell, killed its henchmen, and were now ransacking its office proved futile, and it attacked.
You surrounded it and started pounding the thing, but it had quite a few attacks and did significant damage. In particular, its Force Breath almost blew Rilath across the room, but he countered with Fire Breath of his own, and despite being almost dead, he charged at the thing in a last ditch effort to take it down and succeeded.
Packed up its horde and searched for the document, but it turned out to be rather hard to find. Dhrall came up with the bright idea of asking the Worm above for info, and here's where things get a little meta.
See, Dhrall has wanted for a little while to rebuild his character, since the Apostle of Peace PrC is rather limiting. Basically you are a healer who can't attack anything or cure spontaneously, which especially sucks when your party already has a cleric who can do both. And since we just happened to be in an area right next to the River Styx (which erases you memories), it was too good an opportunity to pass up as an in-universe way to justify complete retraining.
So sorry I kinda nailed you to the plot rails (almost literally) for a few minutes, but I needed an excuse for him to take a swim.
When you got upstairs, you found that the Worm was now aware that you weren't supposed to be here, and furious about it. He started to subdue you by using his Calcifying Aura (which doesn't quite work this way, but I didn't want to do any lasting damage to your characters simply to advance Dhrall's) to start petrifying you from the bottom up.
Everyone was frozen in place except for Dhrall (who as a snake could slither around fairly well even with the end of his tail stoned) and Zy (who could take the form of a nasty mass of tentacles with no discernible anatomy). When the Worm saw a nasty Far-Realms creature sliding toward it requesting its brain (it makes sense in context), it panicked, and almost backed over the edge into the river. Dhrall tackled it to try to stop it, and they both fell in.
The other players returned to their bodies, to find that Ornald was still unconscious, but recovering, and Dhrall was comatose. Ruth said that his mind had suddenly "gone blank", and she could get no response. Granny Mur examined the documents you brought back and identified the correct one for beating Kharis.
After the session ended, I did a separate scene with Dhrall to establish what happened to him. Dhrall, if you want I will post the log from that scene so that the other players can see what happened (and in-universe we will treat it as you telling them everything once you wake up). If you'd rather keep it mysterious and want to decide for yourself what to tell them, that's fine too.

You guys are so freaking lucky, you know that? Anyone who thinks that the dice-roller is too mean wasn't watching when I rolled up this stuff just now. It's not that it kept rolling high, it just kept rolling high when it really mattered. The low rolls happened for gems and crap, while the high rolls somehow saved themselves for magical goodies.
So even with average rolls in general, somehow the total value of the hoard (which also includes the treasure that you would have gotten from the last two fights) ended up with a total value of almost three times what I expected, and that includes the dragon, who already gives three times what most monsters do.
Translation: You're freaking rich! I considered re-rolling, but I figured hey, what the heck, I'll just keep the randomly generated stuff and see how you handle it. You ended up with one magic item that was by itself worth more than the entire hoard was supposed to be, but it's a utility item, and with the wealth spread over 6 people it this stuff shouldn't be too game-breaking.
You're welcome.

....ooooh. Considering I won't get teleportation until level 13(which is a long ways away), that helm is going to come in mighty handy.
....man. And only 1,400 XP away from next level. so clooooose
Rilath can identify the items for you, if you have some way of giving him the material component for Identify needed(such as the hat I saw in the loot log earlier). Mostly all of them today, even, being that he still has 8 spellslots capable of casting Identify.
Staff of healing would obviously go to Ornald. I'd also be inclined to say that the ring of chameleon power and the bracers of armor would go to the monk(force armor doesn't exactly prohibit monk AC, and I'm of the idea that strengthening existing bonuses is good).
Hmmm. I could use the cloak, but I already have a cloak of charisma. There's... not much else I could use, except the wands and scrolls.
Could I get thefollowing properties added to the campaign for macro's involving my soulmelds? These are the ones I would like:
Totem, Crown, Feet, Hands, Arms, Brow, Shoulders, Throat, Waist, Heart, Soul
It's actually pretty easy to roll dice here. It's even a simple matter to show you how, as it'll only let you roll dice in the original post. So what I'll do is roll some dice, then edit in the code used, so you can see it exactly.
Dice Rolls: (1d20)[9]: Roll a d20 (1d20+10)[28]: Roll a d20+10 (1d20+10)[8](18): Roll a d20+10, and show the actual die result as well (useful for attack rolls and saves). (3d6)[13]: Roll 3d6 (3d8)[8][3][4](15): Roll 3d8, and show individual dice (useful when doing HP due to the 'min 1' clause with Con modifiers, and also useful if you've got some form of 'reroll 1's' clause in your use)
How they were done:
Dice Rolls:
[roll]1d20[/roll]: Roll a d20
[roll]1d20+10[/roll]: Roll a d20+10
[rollv]1d20+10[/roll]: Roll a d20+10, and show the actual die result as well (useful for attack rolls and saves).
[roll]3d6[/roll]: Roll 3d6
[rollv]3d8[/rollv]: Roll 3d8, and show individual dice (useful when doing HP due to the 'min 1' clause with Con modifiers, and also useful if you've got some form of 'reroll 1's' clause in your use)
Make sense?
Oh yes, and if you try to delete a rolled die from a post, there will be this big red warning on the post.

Hmm... I don't see anything Jelani could take. Maybe the Cloak of Resistance, if no one else wants it. Other than that, though...
Well, maybe he'll get tanked off the bottle of 700-year old wine ;P.
...was so very very tempted to do exactly the same thing.
I should probably take the cloak of resistance, since my saves probably suck and an extra fifth level spell isn't that good right now. That, and I don't really have any spells that need a save from the enemy...
Grafsburg: You might could use the full plate, if you don't already have better armor?

Nah, Jelani's got a +3 Mithral Breastplate, so the Full Plate would actually be worse for him.

Splitting the cash... six ways, was it? ... gives us each 602 gp, 3 sp, 3 cp, and leaves 1 cp left over. Now's probably not a good time to go selling loot, what with us being underground and all.
Oh, did you remember the masterwork quality on the chain shirts that's a pre-requisite for enchanting them?
