Okay, I figured this might happen, but I hoped to avoid it. Can't play tomorrow, so we'll have to wait until next Saturday.
Bummer, but it'll be at least 4 days until I get internet at my new place, and my neighbors are stingy with unprotected access to their wireless.
Oh well, it will give the remaining new members of our group time to get character sheets to me, and also make sure everyone has a chance to try out Maptool.

I have my router set up. The port forwarding seems to work, but my RPTools.net alias does not for some reason. Direct Connect however seems to function. Just in case it doesn't work, Jack, any chance you could run the server? Probably won't be necessary, but its good to have a backup plan.
I'll try to start the server early, so we can iron out any technical glitches. Everyone will need to have the same version of Maptool installed to connect. New players, just so you know, the rest of us have version 1.3.b74. Please get it.
Did everyone get a chance to try out the software? Did you all read the thread? Do you have any questions?
Rather than have everyone be met separately, I'm just going to get it over with and start the new players out together in a dungeon (except for Grafsburg who won't be joining until next week). You guys are all prisoners of the man the PCs are seeking, so if you can come up with a good reason an immortal desert-dwelling cult leader would be mad at you, go wild.
I'll try to introduce you pretty early in the game, so you don't have to sit around waiting for the others to get to you.

He's mad at me because I killed a bunch of his slavers that were travelling through my forrest? (It's not really mine but I live there.)
Works for me. He's been alive for centuries, so in the past he probably did slave trading as a way of raising income.
Oh, I forgot to mention something. The manner in which you guys are imprisoned keeps you from aging. If you want, you can have been down there for decades or longer.

I like that idea. Could I have been down there for about 100 years? He's been experimenting on me and he's the one who added my tail.
Whoa, missed the activity. I keep forgetting that if I don't actually check the thread the updater won't do anything else.
Downloaded the wrong Maptools, getting the right one now, then I'll try connecting.
As for the cult leader getting mad at me, well, I am an Apostle of Peace.
Yeah, I tried closing and reopening a few times to test it, but after opening it the first connection always disconnects immediately, and the second time it works. Dunno if that's useful at all.

Session closed. Sorry it took so long to post, had to help my roommate move.
Ornald and Madila arrived at the town of Gateway to discover that they were expected, and that a celebration had been prepared due to their slaying of Zuggtmoy. During the festivities, a Psibond Agent named Ruth revealed that she is hiding in the walls, spying on Kharis and his followers with a Ring of X-Ray Vision, and was able to temporarily Dominate a guard to speak with you.
She warned them not to stay, and when they were adamant, asked them to investigate the prison underneath the place. Going down there, they found three new allies who were imprisoned in crystals within a Gelatinous Cube. Freeing them, the now much larger party was attacked by Jerj, a Chain Devil who acted as jailer.
They beat him, and then escaped through a room with a trapped floor, and a riddle where the correct answer wasn't the obvious one. They looted Jerj's office, then ascended to the Garden, where Kharis was waiting for them.
He attempted to forge an alliance with the PCs, reasoning that it was pointless for one person to possess two opposite pyramids, and that a mutually beneficial solution could be reached. They refused, and he demonstrated his powers by animating six topiary animals to fight.
The party defeated them, and then were approached by Granny Mur, the Astral Deva who helped them once before in the jungle.
Experience Points:
1 Advanced Chain Devil - 810 xp for everyone
6 Large Topiary Animals - 1080 xp for everyone
Treasure:
300 platinum coins (3000 gp)
1 scroll of Raise Dead (6,125 gp)
1 wand of Knock with 41 charges left (3690 gp)

Proposed loot distribution:
Split the coins five ways (60 coins each - and platinum, so 600 value), treating the wand of Knock as party loot, entrusted to the arcanist, for opening doors; keeping the Scroll of Raise Dead, entrusted to me (Cleric) for reviving the fallen.

I have no OOC complaints about that(except for making it difficult on the GM for wealth by level with seemingly arbitrary amounts for charity).
Rilath though would probably think though that it would be waste to give the money to charity, being better suited to adventuring and helping people that way(or at least that would be his excuse). Either that or I'm playing him a bit too disruptively...

Well, I could always just take a share directly leaving everyone with 50 coins, and donate mine. 55 for everyone was actually because it'd still leave everyone with more then a 6-way split.

To be fair, he did mention ICly that he didn't want a share... Although, yeah, there were only five people including Drall, so it is perfectly fine to have 60 a piece.
I was under the impression we had max HP. If this isn't the case, I'll need to roll mine. Great game by the way. Also, if any of you are good at macros, I'd love to know where I'm supposed to save them and how to make them.

....I really do hope you still have more HP than me afterward. Every game I'm in, I seem to somehow be taking the majority of the damage because I have the most HP or AC or what have you.
