I don't think i've ever been here before.
If I was to turn up to one of them, say Nexus because it looks fun, what would the proceedure be?

Damn, about 29 stats in one swipe. Since I'm clearly the next I'm booby-trapping every inch of the Maze.
I'm in as long as I can play Zoro or Sanji post-time skip.
This is unlikely, as the AnimeitPs are based around the One Piece setting, but are an alternate universe where no canon characters exist. You could, however, make a swordsman character of your own.
...I'm in, though. I'm heavily considering a Defector From Decadence martial artist...
Who's one of the Tenryūbito in disguise.

Pretty much this. Also, like Bleach In The Playground, it is very likely I will strive to have OPitP be plot-driven. Ideally, there will be enough people to create their own crews without having to resort to NPCs or playing multiple characters in a crew too much. There is also the possibility of playing a Marine, or the such.
Speaking of which, as of now, I am looking for dedicated individuals to play the top brass of the marines, the shichibukai, and likely the yonkou. Given this will be plot-oriented, they will likely be, where appropriate, the "antagonists" or driving forces behind the plot.
In addition, I would also vaguely consider having the same "Central 5" to make important decisions, in this context being the Gorosei, but it'd mostly be an OOC thing. I mean, there's some pretty much broken devil's fruit, at the least. Also, I feel it worth mentioning I don't think anyone should be able to have Haoshoku Haki without extremely good reason, and very likely said Gorosei's approval. It's basically a "Chosen One" skill, and given this is an RP, it wouldn't be fair to designate a main character or main characters over anyone else, and if it were freely allowed, there's no reason everyone couldn't take it, and thus the one-in-a-million thing would be pretty much null and void. Which I do not believe to be a good thing. Sure, it's basically a mook killer, but it's a legendary skill nonetheless.
These are just things I'd consider to be worth organizing in the RP, but feel free to correct me.
As for how I think it should be organized, I think we could possibly get away with playing the "early" game with the four seas (North, South, East, West) then eventually ease into the Grand Line.
Excuse me if my thoughts are rather incoherent, I have a lot of them on my mind. Feel free to ask my opinions on anything regarding this RP, but again, I'm not a dictator, I'll leave the ultimate organization of the RP to the players, not one person. As much as I think having organization is a good thing.
EDIT: Also, I'd vaguely consider keeping historical details of the world of One Piece.
As a secondary, I would not be opposed to the creation of new Devil's Fruits, either, within reason. I mean, hell, the whole thing more or less came from my own idea on a devil fruit.
I'm willing to be one of the Top Brass, Shichibukai, or Yonkou. I'm dedicated! I'm willing! I'm caught up entirely in the manga!
And also I love One Piece! I'll fill in any slot you need if it will make this get going faster!
Like I said, a Defector From Decadence Martial Artist who's secretly one of the Tenryūbito. Doesn't reveal this about himself, but he works hard to undermine other nobles who he sees abusing their positions.
This means most of them.

Hauh, would anyone be up for a settlers type of FFRP?
We'd essentially be commoners/settlers trying to establish a small town in a hazardous location due to deposits of gold said to be in the area. Our characters would have to contend with all sorts of nasties that live on the outskirts of town. And other things like droughts, crops not doing so well, sickness, maybe marauders who conduct random raids on the town. etc
I'd be up for that AND I'd also be up for restarting a new Homestuck RP. Because yeah I started reading that and I like it so much. But we'd be in our own sburb session I'd think.
Also I figure that aside from the characters dealing with bad stuff, there would also be community building, friendships being developed, etc character development type of stuff.

Oooo...
I like this idea, and would be glad to participate.
I'm thinking it'd be that sort of Wild West thing with a dash of dnd fantasy type monsters thrown into the mix. Maybe with some steam punk elements. Does anyone have any ideas they'd like to throw into the mix?
I really like the wild west element.
I kind of like the idea that all characters only start with basic supplies like rations and hammers and maybe a weapon. That way it's more realistic.
Also a little bit of steampunkness when the town gets started would be nice too.
Guys, I don't want to be mean but I don't think Homestuck will ever do well as an FFRP.
The big problem with the last one is the Troll to Human Ratio and also limiting people into different sessions.
However, the Wild West FFRP sounds like something I could really enjoy and no other FFRP could do.
Do ya'll think that' there's enough garnered interest to warrant an OOC thread to be made? For a name I fancy the simple but descriptive enough "Wild West Settlers"
I think it's garnered enough interest.
Especially if you point out your whole combining wild west and fantasy idea you mentioned for it.
Cowboys and wizards man, cowboys and wizards.
Or something like that.
