Well... I have it all drawn out except the last panel. Explosions are slightly challenging to draw.

Draw a jagged shape, duplicate it and resize it a few times. Rotate the shapes if you want. Recolor them middle yellow, the next orange, and the last red. Or go orange, red, and dark red. Depends.

Oh. Duplicate the object that's exploding a few times, draw random shapes (making sure they don't overlap), clip the several objects, and voila, insta-rubble.

It's easier than drawing hundreds of individual pieces, and it keeps the form of the rubble consistent with the destroyed object.

It's gigantic rubble so it would be obvious. It's not like a small-ish explosion could totally disintigrate a wall.

I generally go with:

1. Generate random polygon of reasonably cohesive shape
2. Add edges to polygon and compose into one side of semi-3D shape
3. ????
4. Profit!

I tend to spend 4+ hours on an explosion... the one in my backstory took between 4 and 5 for the one panel of explosion.
Because I tend to like to work out how it would explode, where it would go, the draw the shape but in pieces, place them, shade them, add reasonably awesome firey explosion...
If inkscape doesnt crash or slow right down when I do it I'm really supprised.
(Inkscape tends to crash a lot for me... because of sheer number of shapes and lines and stuff in the file)

Fear is, in most circumstances, refering to the tendency to inflict fear rather than feel it.

As it stands, I really don't think that falls under any of the emotions in our emotional spectrum. Possibly Apathy, if that's all your character is feeling.

Compassion maybe? You want to know and care (Where's Ker-Bear anyway?) but you don't.

Apathy will just read a book until stuff makes sense.

Also, using several days on sketching a comic (lots of redrawing one panel I wasn't happy enough with) is tiring. Thus I will take a break tomorrow and you will have to wait even longer for me! I will rival Mad Mask in waiting time! MWAHAHAHA!
