So, you know how I post all of my entries on my blog? Blogger decided it would be good to suddenly switch over to a new (and horrible) interface, which, combined with persistently half-formed ideas, means that the only thing I'm likely to get up by tonight is a complaint poem, and possibly one piece of short fiction.
Sorry!

Had I not been writing them in the blog, I'd do so...
And hopefully they'll get the message sometime soon!

Well I was going to, through writing mostly, but had a rather bothersome and still rather worrying mess come up regarding another thing I'm writing, which I now pretty much have to largely rewrite, and spent several hours fleshing out potential plans for. So I didn't make it to 6 entries, just 800ish words of a character sheet and a page of drawings. So, I guess no good for this week.

My writings are here. I didn't write much this week, and I didn't draw anything non-sketchy. Most of my creative time was eaten by revisions (I had to heavily edit 18 pages) and the development of another story in my head.
The "editing" part makes obvious one problem with our counting system, but it's not something that can be fixed, unfortunately.
But hooray, I managed to do the self-imposed Challenge. In English, even. GAH, it's difficult to get right. I'm only semi-competent in my own language - English is just embarassing, really XD
Still, it was a fun exercise.
Actually half of those Batman-based things (mostly the Cthulhu) were done last week and not for the theme. I put up a post last night that the forums ate, but it's up now. Either way I got enough done for the Batman theme.
And in honour of the finale of FiM, I declare this week's theme to be Withdrawal! It's going to be a long summer.
I'm guessing that you meant for there to be another 'a' in there, and that has nothing to do with an accent, right?

Ah well. Drawling doesn't really fit Morilar or Laeris (which are, respectively, my main fantasy and sci-fi settings) anyway.

True. Though if you could manage, I'm sure the results would be humorous...

Y'know what? Fine. Just because of this discussion, next time I get to choose the theme it's going to be drawling. BWAHAHAHA-Oh gods I'm going to fail that week.
Also, just to let you all know, tomorrow's status update will be late, since I won't be near internet until the afternoon. I'll get it up as soon as I can, though
Oh yeah! It's Sunday. I've been writing, and will be doing mostly writing, because I have a ridiculous amount of it to do before summer. Sending you some.

Due to the fact that my brief spurt of creativity seems to have ended/been redirected into things that don't count, I think I'm going to drop out of the Challenge for now.

I've got bad news, too. Appantly, my only internet is my veeeeery slooooow phone 'net. I won't be able to do the status or upload my own writings before wednesday. I'm really, really sorry about that, but the wireless net (that I made sure to have) doesn't cover where I am.
I'm SO sorry about the lateness, guys! Status for last week ohoy!
Glass Mouse passes with a piece of fanart, an avatar, and 624 words of writing.
Ice Walker passes with 1700 words of fantasy writings and short stories.
Kyouhen passes with a MLP painting, 3 ponies in withdrawal (Twilight from books, Rainbow from flying, and someone from muffins), plus a Heavy Weapons Pony minicomic, and some assorted sketches.
Thus, no one FAILS this round!
Glass Mouse, Ice Walker and Kyouhen PASS this round!

It's my turn to choose a theme, and I say social media.
If anyone is curious about the delay, I'm doing a project for school with five other people. We have collected a bunch of empirical data, and we've found a house in the middle of nothing where we can work to process it. Unfortunately, it also has no network.
Fortunately, I had to return to do the 2-hour travel back to my school today. Hooray for small miracles.
So... sorry again. I really should've foreseen it. Everything will be back to normal on Monday
(if anyone is curious, I'm counting my fanart as three due to number of characters, and complexity of background. I also did some other writings last week, but nothing worth uploading)
Slightly late status. This time because my home's internet decided to derp.
Glass Mouse passes with a 2-panel mini-comic and 1.049 words of vampire short story.
Ice Walker passes with 1.757 of fantasy writings.
Kyouhen uploaded two MTG card with ponies, and five random pony doodles. Edit: And a Tumblr pony, a reddit pony, a netiquette pony, 3 silhouette ponies and three other drawings.
Thus, Kyouhen FAILS this round! Edit: Nope, it's a pass.

It's Ice Walker's turn to choose a theme
@Kyouhen: I failed you because five of your drawings were sketches. It's a bit difficult to judge, but they seemed very simple, and you used the word "doodles" to describe them. If you actually spent a lot of time on them, yell at me, and we'll renegotiate
I know I just scrape the bare minimum this week, but I did a few small essays and some drawings (for my potential new comic) that I don't want to upload. But man, it feels good to write consistently again.
Need to get back to drawing, though. New goal: three pieces worth of drawing every week.
I'm a bit disappointed with how little drawing I've been doing of late. But I have a lot of writing to do, among other things, so I guess that's just how it goes. I should try to get a bit more in anyway.
Lets make this weeks theme something that I'll actually be writing about: Orphans! Like, half the PCs in this game. Being set 18 years after the really dark times started helps.

Only half? Every group I've played with has had an orphan rate of at least 90% percent. It's a staple of fantasy

I live! Sorry, my internet was down so I wasn't able to get my postings for last week's theme up. They're up now, you can decide if they count enough for me to pass or not though.

It's Kyouhen's turn to choose a theme
Hey, we all followed the theme this time around And passed! It's great to have the CHALLENGE as a place where it feels like we're all pushing ourselves!
It's a little while since I threw my proof document here. Writings are still in Danish, but I put the orphan drawing there (it's not scanned, so it looks worse than it should).
It's yet another "cutting it close" week for me. I don't think that'll change this week, considering we're in crunch mode for the semester. Oh well, as long as I pass.
I know I threatened to fail everyone this week and make the theme "drawl", but I get the distinct feeling the writers would figure out a way to handle it and the artists wouldn't. Meanwhile I've been reading a lot of the Haunted Lands series. So let's make this week's theme undead and I'll get back to you when I have some idea how to draw drawling.
Ooh! I can use that. Definitely can write...oh. Geez. There's a grim thought. Character who had to kill the undead corpse of one of their parents when they were still tiny? That'd be a grim character. Hmm...would need some way to have hopeful idealism in the end, but that's not a bad idea...
Edit: Well, definitely didn't keep up to the challenge this week. I'm doing a really poor job using the spare time I have right now, it's sorely disappointing.
Still, I did finish the last piece of one sheet and start on another. So I got SOMETHING done at least. Bleh.

It's my turn to choose a theme, and I say home.
@Ice Walker: Aw, sorry to see you didn't make it. Can't say I blame you - school is horrible this time of year. I'm home by 7 pm and completely busted in the head every day. Thank god it's over in a few days
Nicely creepy idea for a story, though. You'd better write it, or I'm going to steal it away!
So apparently I managed to fall asleep while posting my update post last night. It's up now though. I'm torn between hating work for keeping me so busy and loving it for the amount of hours I'm getting. >_<
