Sorry for the other delay, but things have been very busy on this side. I also began uploading the pages of Wanderers of the Mushroom Kingdom to my up until now barely used deviantArt account. Posting a small update about the comic...

All the pages are currently uploaded on my deviantArt account. Now however, comes the hard part of continuing the series. I haven't gotten much time to work on this project, since I've got other projects in mind.

However, whenever I would sit down to work on the comic, I realized that the lack of progress was in part due to the way the images for my characters are very annoying to manipulate. For some reason, this led me to attempt to modify some of those layouts so that they look a bit more professional, having now a bit more experience with Inkscape. I'm not sure if those changes will resonate with everyone, but I won't know until I try it out!

You can expect the updated character arts to show up from Page 14 and onward.

We're back in game with 4 new character designs! I also revamped the forest background so it doesn't look as crummy as it did before.

Edit: in hindsight it makes sense that the forest has eyes, seeing as everything else in the mario universe does.

While the eyes do reference MitD, they actually represent creatures that live in the forest. Which one? It's a mystery! It's so mysterious even -I- don't know!

Its the forest stalker, it has glowing eyes and it stalks people. it eats a scoop of dirt once a year, and they mostly make a holiday out of it. they are pretty harmless, exapt for the worms they accidently scoop up.

If I'm lucky, more pages should be on their way soon! February will be another inactivity period as I prepare for another, much grander project. Which I won't reveal just yet. No, it's not another comic. But until then, let the pages hit the floor!

EDIT: I also have a new advertisement banner that can randomize between 5 preset images! However, if it turns out that using image randomizers is no good, do tell. I don't think there was something in the rules that talked about that...

EDIT 2: No, they're not allowed... I have a normal text sig now. I might upload the pics for non-randomized signs though.

But yeah, they would be very appreciated. After all, knowing I've made someone's day better is all the motivation I need to make more pages... nonetheless, I managed to squeeze out Page 18, and am working on 19 as we speak.

Currently, I have been rather stressed lately due to life related reasons, but I'll try to keep a good comic submission ratio!
