1. What game system are you running (D&D, Call of Cthulu, Palladium, GURPS, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, Revised, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)? 3.5 D&D
2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? What is the setting for the game (eg. historic period, published or homebrewed campaign setting, alternate reality, modern world, etc.)? Mid-High Magic Hombrew
3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many? 3-5 ideally
4. What's the gaming medium (OOTS, chat, e-mail etc.)? GITP
5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)? 7th. It's an exciting level, after all.
6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with? Standard WBL (19k)
7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes? No Psionic classes. Preferably no homebrew, but I can be reasonable if you really need something. A slight modification or a fix for a low-tier class is most likely to work, but nothing too extravagant would be accepted
8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species? Races are fun! Nothing past a +1 LA. No homebrew races.
9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points? 4d6. Max HP at first, average afterwards.
10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so? Any alignment is allowed, but try to stay fairly true to it. No Chaotic Stupid, or Lawful Stupid for that matter.
11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it? No exp. penalty. I don't really want to deal with it.
12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them? I'll roll Listen, Spot, and Initiative. You roll anything else you feel you need to, and I may ask for a roll if I feel it is needed.
13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules. No variant rules, but don't overcheese or abuse RAW. Ask if it seems too broken.
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)? You are all seventh-level characters, and so have seen your fair share of interesting situations. List three fairly important or well-known things you have done. If you wish, add old enemies or allies. They may or may not be incorporated.
15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above? Not too much puzzle-solving, fairly balanced otherwise.
16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters? Only things I can verify online or have access to myself. That is a fairly long list, but I may ask about certain features.
I'd like everyone in the game to post here. When that's done, I'll post the IC thread to begin the game.
Ceive has just a couple more details I'd like to add, like basic adventuring gear (bedroll, backpack, glowy things, rope,... pants) but I likely won't get to doing actual math like that again until about 12 hours from now, so I don't want to hold things up. Ceive will likely be speaking in purple, since blue is already spoken for :P

I love shapesand, it covers almost all of your basic mundane needs. You won't be using it out of combat without a good Wisdom score, but whatever.
I've PM'ed Atemus, currently waiting for a response. In the mean time, are there any particular magic items anyone is hoping will show up? I make no guarantees, but an idea of what you all might like would be nice to have.

A Constitution-increasing item would be nice, personally. Other than that...a better Cloak of Resistance? The Mask of Blood from MiC would be pretty cool too, I guess. *shrug*
I take it you are wanting us to just jump right in then? And can I assume that in character, we have already introduced ourselves while we were waiting outside the gate?
Yes, feel free to jump straight in. As to introductions, I would say that each of you has had the opportunity to introduce yourselves. Whether or not you have is up to you.
Two questions:
-How tall are the trees?
-On your map, which icon is which character?
EDIT: @the map, we can click on it and see it full-size. It's fine with me.

The trees appear to be around 80 feet tall. I should note that this is a very dense forest of pine trees, not a larger or stronger tree.
In front is Jhank, since he is the one who ran. Behind him is Brandon, who entered first. Behind him is Ceive, the second to enter. Outside is Arran, who hasn't yet entered the forest.
Ithilanor, I take it you are using that spiked chain in two hands, only swinging one end of it as a two-handed weapon? Interesting strategy, forgoing the 3rd potential attack to maximize damage on the first two.

It's a good strategy in general... and there's also the fact that a spiked chain isn't a double weapon.
