611 Aside from the general awesomeness, the little detail that the visible part of the sending spell in the large panel spells out "Alive, in danger in Greysky with Belkar" shows how much detail the giant puts into these comics (or possibly how much we overanalyze them).

A close one, but I'm going with 611. Its nice to watch Belkar in full on Kick-ass mode.

Sorry guys, but could I ask you to bold your decisions? Especially with multiple numbers in the same post. This makes it eaiser on Nazzo when he adds up the total.
While #611 is excellent, at the same time it's kinda expected after the previous strip's build-up. #612 is twistier, and has better dialogue (Belkar is on fire, especially "It's a whole thing", and the Cleric's not far behind him.
Belkar 6:11 says I just whooped your ass. (Hopefully that's the last time I use that joke with Belkar due to die soon. I just had to use it after the angle I kept pushing when it came out.)
Though it did pull away on the second page after hovering around 50% for much of the first, it seemed to do so rather reluctantly, with people continuing to mention that it was "close". Yes, there are other good strips here, strips that could win any other group of five, but are you really that jaded (or sick of Belkar) you're willing to go "eh, it's a good strip" for something once considered the epitome of awesomeness and Belkar's Crowning Moment of Awesome? I have a feeling that 611 will share 539's fate without necessarily deserving it, even if 610 is its only competition.
The real surprise may be where the challenge was coming from, as I had said that 612 wouldn't be able to compete with 613 or 615, and instead it gets more votes than the both of them combined. I figured the food puns and "Icy Burst" would beat "Brainy Pete", but I guess 612's quantity of jokes wins out. (Part of it, I think, was that I expected the strip to be most deprived of votes by the presence of 611 was 612, as I figured Belkar was more the star there than in the other strips. Of course, I failed to properly account for the cleric, so maybe it was 613 that was most robbed...) On the other hand, as expected, 614 might as well not have been here at all.
Throw out 617 for inflaming anti-Celia passions again; 619 and 620 also feature too much Celia, but the video game joke at the end might make 619 a dark horse. I figure it's likely to come down to 616 for humor, showcasing Belkar's new outlook, and Crystal demanding to be killed, and 618 for Haley's tactics, with 616 being the early favorite.
