I haven't been on my computer in a couple of days, so I've been away for too long to edit the backstory. I'll be adding a section on Nashville today or tomorrow.

Oh star fall down on me
Let me make a wish upon you
Hold on, let me think
Think of what I'm wishing for
Um, I was just looking over everyone's character sheets and I just noticed something. In this group there is only one car. Which is a two-seater. And belongs to the troll. So everyone still working on their characters, I would recommend getting a vehicle of some sort, ideally one that can carry multiple people. (And contraband)

I'm buying one, maybe more. I am playing a rigger, after all. At the moment, I'm working on gear.

Pfft, hahaha, oh lawd.
I'll go with Dark Red for Kikuchiyo. A gruff, trolly kind of voice.

Sorry Fella's I'm going to have to bow out of this one, I have been trying to crunch together a character all week and nothing is fitting to my liking. Good luck and good gaming to you all.
Hi all, real sorry it's taken me so long to get my sheet up. Was just way more swamped this week then I thought I'd be. My sheet can be found here: Jbar. I'll take Gray for my color if that's ok. I mainly just have to fill in the background of my character. Also not familiar with the current gangs of the UCAS so BudgetDM if you could give me one to fill in for my ganger contact, that'd be great. Thanks and again sorry it took me so long. I'm really looking forward to playing!
Crowe: Sorry to hear that dude. Better luck with your next game.
Daravon_35: Um, gangs. Gangs are one of the parts of canon I'm the worst at. Plus, most of the gangs I know of are west coast dweller, and I'm guessing that their reach doesn't go to the CAS. I'll start working on some and let you pick a contact in the one that is least terrible best.
Edit:
CAS Gangs
Spoiler
Bad Medicine: Rumored to have been founded by Technomancers that escaped from a corp. (some say government) lab, this go-gang has made a name for itself by creative use of drones. Their skill with drones has made them able to compete with Yaks, Triad, and Mob in the street drug trade.
The Screaming Skulls (Nashville Only): A mostly ork and troll gang that have exploded recently due to one of the gangs lieutenants making it big in goblin rock and sending cash back to her old gang. They are better armed than most gangs, and rumor has it that they have blackmail material on some big producers. They also despise ork posers.
Grave Robbers: Wiz-gangers originally from New Orleans. They are small but have reputation (which some people claim is greatly overblown) for devastating use of possession magic.
Lone Wolves (Nashville Only): AKA The-Totally-Not-Secretly-Sponsored-by-Horizon gang. Obviously, no proof has surfaced about this, but everyone in the Shadows knows. No normal gangers have hair that perfect. No normal gangers are that good at social engineering. No normal gangers are that adept at playing the media into portraying them as victims of the corrupt (and non-business friendly) government.
Fuerza de la Sangre: This gang is made up completely of Aztlan ex-pats. With relations between the CAS and Atztlan being what they are, this does not make them popular. The only reason that they survive is a capacity for violence that dwarfs even other gangs. Not even particularly clever or inventive violence, just pure violence, raw and primal. They have a very shaky truce with Bad Medicine, who supply them with combat drugs.
Any of those good?

I'll post a response to the Mr. Johnson tomorrow if that's ok. I'd do one now, but I'd rather wait for everyone else to have a chance to post. Also I figured that wasn't everything that Johnson had to say, just wasn't sure how to start out the conversation too much there .
Elisabeth 'greyKnight' Harker is finally ready. Sorry for the delay, I had to go out of town over the weekend with the family.
I do need approval for the Pacifist negative quality (p. 107, Runner's Companion), bought at the 5 pt. level. I would pretty much go with the requirements regardless, but points for it is nice. If that's not ok, I'll replace it.
Starting nuyen: (4d6+1)[15] x 100
And jumping into the IC thread now.

Pacifist is okay by me. The Pacifist negative quality was actually added to the Core rules in the 20th Anniversary Edition, so it's technically core anyway.

Ah. I have straight 4e at the moment, haven't gotten the 20th Anniversary version yet.

Just out of curiosity, does everyone have access to a map of Shadowrun North America circa 2072? I know that the 20th Anniversary has one, but I don't know about the original 4e book.

I echo your sentiment about the lack of a guide for payouts. The only decent guide I've found as to it so far is here, where there's a table of recommended payouts for player run plots.

Rettu and I also decided on a common backstory and shared lifestyle for Kikuchiyo and Silk. With the extra cash I was able to buy a motorcycle. I'll update the sheet once MythWeavers lets me back on.
I also have a huge, huge map file from around 2072 that I'll see about uploading.
EDIT: Ok, got it online. It's a world map, but it's the best one I've got, aside from the standard map in the 20th Anniversary book.
A datajack has the normal cyberware wireless functionality, right? If so, that means I can covertly use my commlink's functions by remote mental command, right? Note I have an control rig implant (which definitely has wireless capability) in addition to the datajack, so this seems reasonable. Obviously, I'd need to have the wireless enabled on my headware, which is not normally the case.

You can do that, but I would rule that noticing the cable running from the datajack to the commlink would be at -6.

I should have mentioned that Alexis is my contact; Loyalty 6, Connect 5. I just sent her a message to see if I could get a hold of her, or if she was busy at the moment.
