Well, I might not manage to post much, but I'll join too.

Anyone object to another science/technology pony? I know you've got a couple. He'd only have a small workshop at his house, and my personal lack of social skills will work with my not posting much.

Name: Fullcanter

Appearance:

Skills: Machinery, Welding, Making and Discarding Plans

Biography: Fullcanter has come to Bridal Shores following a long stint as resident mechanic for a research team investigating paranormal phenomona in remote regions of Equestria that pulled him away from a prior life as an apprentice blacksmith in some distant small town. While the team never returned with any conclusive data, Fullcanter still sometimes expresses the belief that "Equestria has had some very strange visitors over the years."

Personality: Fullcanter tends to be distant and easily distracted. He is often nervous and quiet, but occasionally lapses into excited frenzy over a particular topic.

Relationships: He's new. He's got to make some before they can go here.

Yeah. I think I can play an emotionally distant conspiracy theorist mechanic.

Berry didn't really notice Silvermane, actually. Soft Serve and Snickerdoodle brought up apples and Berry was caught in the moment - it's like a red cape in front of a bull.

Actually, you all are lucky that Berry Ann is so calm and levelheaded.

I thought we were at the ocean!

In which case, it's a lighthouse for the sky to help pegasai on long range flights.

In light of the new episode, I editted the second part of Berry's apple rant. There have been many pastry-related casualties on both sides of the Apple-Berry dispute. As for Gramma Shortcake, well, anypony over 80 has trouble moving around, and correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation.

Also, funetik aksents are ridiculously fun to type.

Maybe. Soft Serve doesn't really seem like the kind who would get scared by that kind of thing though. She'd probably just laugh at it right until the monster showed up right behind her. Heck, she might even laugh then.

Well I don't mean all ponies will get scared by that kind of thing, I expect only some ponies who's personalities allow for that kind of thing to react that way.
