You know, this running gag of Buggy is not a clown is pretty funny.

Glad you enjoyed it. I thought about back when I read a post that wondered for what reason a GM like the one portrayed here would choose to make circus-themed villains. I thought about that too... and realized that maybe he didn't choose to make circus-themed villains. :p

Oh, btw... don't forget what kind of player the GM used to be.

And that's what made him write the Arlong Park adventure... Too bad Luffy is just way tooo imbalanced. And everyone else, too.

There's something wonderfully deadpan about "I carry this whole cage on my back."

Yeah... like other characters pulling out their siege weapons when the situation calls for it...

I HATE starvation checks. Me and a fellow player were stuck in some swamp seperated from our groups and we were wandering around for a week... we made it but it didn't take much to kill us there.

Rika = Nico Robin.

Why are girls always the best RPers in these comics?

Best?

I would say that clearly Zorro's player are the best, he managet to move on from Coby to a ½ fishman ½ giant swordwielding blender.

I've got an issue with people who state their theories as facts...

She might as well be Usopp and play a huy with a totally different name.

I have one, no two things to say: While I like the comic, hate the font.

Why Comic sans? Why does everyone think "Comic" means that it is a good font to use for comics?

Two: Either center the loading screen so that it shows the comic, or remove the small title. I went through like 5 pages before I realized I had to scroll down to see the comic part.

Well I'm out. Later.

...The font was addressed in the second post. He chanced it a long time ago.

As for the scrolling down, what are you babbling about? It's like half a scroll to view the full comic. I can see everything but the bottom panels without scrolling!

Yeah, that's not annoying at all. If I have to scroll down at all to see the actual comic, then why don't I have to do that in any other webcomic?

When every other comic loads up on the actual comic, it's kind of jarring, yes.

Questionable Content Does it.
Gunnerkrigg Court does it.
Darths and Droids does it.

I'm not saying that it's annoying, just that I thought the links were broken for like 30 seconds before I realized the comic was just down.

I'm not entirely certain what you mean by "Center the loading screen," but I made the title a bit smaller so 1/2 of the page should be there without scrolling. I was thinking about changing it sooner or later, anyway. Can't seem to find a pic of luffy holding dice of any sort, though. >_>

I'm using Drunkduck right now and their options seem a bit limited at the moment. I can't even make a proper cast page that other people can see. If I had it my way, the white space on either side wouldn't be going to waste like that. ("~_~)

Hmm... maybe I should try a two-page spread some day... ~_^

Btw, I'd advise you to take out Penny Arcade and CAD from your list of examples. Due to their comic style (4x1 and 2x2 style panelling), their 'strips' are much shorter in height in comparison to full-page comics. Neways, hope the slight change makes a bit of a difference. ^_^

I'll add in Darths and Droids and Gunnerkrigg then.

EDIT: I also suggest using "Haha" instead of "Lol". It has more of a flow, and keeps the narrative from having a slight jar, because of the unnatural flow it adds to the strip.

Oda really has serious GM syndrome... every dog and probably every bird has ten pages of backstory but we won't know about that until three years after their first appearance...

Oh, I'm not complaining about the latter... but giving everything a backstory can get tedious at times... I still love the show.
