Well, no answer is still an answer. I guess. Feel free to squeeze in all your answers at one time if you'd like though. Better late than never.

Up next we have the person who is definitely not a naga, and is quite well known and liked within the Friendly Banter threads, Serpentine! Now you can ask her all the questions you haven't already had her answer!

It's that time already? Wow Time really flies when you're... not doing much at all, ackshully.

Both Serpentine and I shall answer these ^_^

Reinholdt's Riveting and Rhetorical Questions:
What traits do you look for in an ideal pet?
Story time!
Spoiler
A balance between snuggly and playful.

Scales! And claws! And firebreathing!

What is the square root of Pi?
Silly, pies aren't square.

Silly, pies aren't square.

What's your favorite OOTS strip?
It's been soooo long since I read most of them. I think it might be either one of the one-off joke strips from the Dragon Magazines, or the one where Haley starts talking again - I really liked the build up, and it felt really intense.

The one with all the old monsters in the pit!

What's your favorite Erfworld strip?
I read about 2 or 3 strips. So, I dunno, the first one?

Erf... world?

How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
I have a whole personality worked out for Serpentine, and have even started working on statting out her species... But I don't think that's what you mean.
I try to be honest on here. I never lie here, and I only very rarely exaggerate or obfuscate the truth (also I don't tend to use words like "obfuscate" in real life). This is pretty much me... but angrier. I think I've recently realised that the more time I spend on the internet - especially arguing - and the less I spend talking to people in real life - not by choice - I think the more I lose touch with my humanity. I get less forgiving, and more confident in my views than I actually am, stuff like that. I'm trying to work on that.
So basically, it relates exactly, except I think I'm nicer in real life Although I also have more time to think about what I say here, so I don't put my foot in my mouth as much as I do in reality.

Like that, except not cartoonish and also I don't wear clothes.

Sadistic choice time! You must choose to save either the life of your most loved one or the lives of a large group of strangers. Which do you choose?
I hate these questions. Hell, you could replace "loved one" with "cat", and it'd still screw me over. Honestly, I'd probably freeze up and everyone would die.

I'd save my loved one. Sinuous will get the others.
But wait, Sinuous would be my loved one... I rescue him, and then he rescues the others.

What is your favorite word?
Serpentine, obviously. Tintintabulation's a good one, too. I like words that wriggle in your mouth - but not that buzz (curse you, letter Z!).

Sassafrass!

What is your least favorite word?
Genitals. Or panties. I wear underwear or, if I'm feeling fancy, lingerie, thank you very much

"Bazinga"

What makes you enthusiastic?
Oh, lots of stuff, especially if I actually know about it... Cryptozoology, for example, and mythology, and animals of all kinds...

Exploring new places!

What disappoints you?
When people who ought to know better exhibit gross ignorance and/or bigotry.

Dragonfruit. Not nearly as exciting as it looks and sounds

What sound do you love?
My cat makes some pretty fun sounds. He very rarely properly meows. He more often gurgles or chirps or mrrs.
Also, meditation balls. The ones that jingle.

Kookaburras by a waterfall.

What sound do you hate?
This guy at uni eating an apple. Urgh, made me want to punch the guy.

Jazz

What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I have a profession now? My dream job would be a professional cryptozoologist. Oh, 'twould be grand... *sigh*

Senior Dragon Wrangler.

What profession would you not like to participate in?
Doctor. Years of listening to my mum talk about her work made sure there was no chance I was gonna go into medicine.

Office work sounds like Hell.

What question would you like to be asked?
Man, you start off with the worst I've ever seen asked... I don't like this one. Pretty much your only answer options are either insipid ("I dunno, what do you wanna ask me?") or egotistical - I mean, I could say "well, all the questions I've asked have been ones I've been interested in the answers to and about which I have actually spent some time thinking, so those ones could be nice", but that'd be amazingly arrogant of me, don't you think?
So... can I answer your question with "not this one"?
I'm gonna move this to further down, cuz I don't wanna start off with whinging...

wxdruid's
What color(s) do you prefer to wear?
I like purple the best, but I think blue-greens/kingfisher blues suit me better.

Skin

What do you like to collect?
Collections. Although I haven't actively collected much these days. I do have collections of books, rocks, feathers, interesting stuff, neat little thingies, dragons, snakes, and stuff like that.

Shiny rocks and things.

How many avatars do you have?
For Serpentine? Um... *counts* 35, not including out of date ones, counting a series as one avatar, and plus Bunbatat (her aboriginal cuz) and Sinuous (her brother).

Ava...tar?

Are you ever coming to GenCon?
Maybe! I'd like to. When's it on next year?

A generation of con-artists? No thanks!

What type of chocolate do you prefer?
Very dark, and very good quality.

Cadbury black forest chocolate.

What type and how many pets do you have?
I have a cat, Moses, an eastern banjo frog called Jeremiah, and several fighter fish. I used to have a gorgeous dog called Amy, and have owned 3 different budgies in the past. Our household also has another cat, called Nidalee. Also there's crickets, but they're more "frog food" than "pets".

Pets? I have lots of animal friends, if that's what you mean.

Do you enjoy watching the Weather Channel?
SBS's Weatherwatch, the thing they show late at night when the station's turned off, is surprsingly entertaining. Has some snazzy music, and it's always fun to compare temperatures around the world.

Is that anywhere near the Climate Isles?

Nix Nihila
Ha!

Have you ever travelled overseas?
Nope, next year will be the first time. Unless you include when my mum went to England pregnant with me, iirc...

Can't swim that far

If so, what event really drove it home that you weren't in your own country anymore?
Not for overseas, but when I went up to Cairns: Middle of summer, and we can't swim in the ocean? What? What? What is this madness?! Oh, death. Right.

Probably the not being there.

What place/s do you most and least want to visit?
Most: aside from "everywhere"... I desperately want to see the little of what's left of Tenochtitlan (or better yet, what was there originally ), and various other South American ruins and things. Not quite visiting, but I really want to see what's inside the pyramid near China's Terracotta Army...

I hear India's got some people like me. Not the same, obviously, but maybe we're related...

What have you recently discovered or worked out about yourself?
I actually had something in mind when I thought of this question... But now I forget it. Maybe I'll think of it later. I guess the whole "I lose my humanity when I spend more time on the internet than with RL people" thing, above, will do for now.

I can tie myself in a knot! Now to work on getting undone on my own...

In what ways have you changed since you were half your current age?
I was 12 1/2, so... Well, I'm a lot more confident now, more sure of myself and stuff. I'm afraid I'm also less nice, which is a little sad. Oh, and I was always geeky, but I've really come into my own in that regard since coming to uni.

Well, I got bigger, and also I know people now.

In what ways have you stayed the same?
I'm still... odd. Still off on what is and is not appropriate conversation topic, sense of humour, and so on. Still a daddy's girl.

General size and shape. Most everything else, too.

What are you most proud of?
I treasure my handful of talents cuz there's not many. I'm afraid I'm out of practice with my empathy lately, so I'm not sure I can say that... My gift-buying, perhaps. I'm pretty good at that.

I can wallop a fully-grown bear square across a clearing!

What are you most ashamed of?
I have a collection of memories that still make me feel a little ill with embarrassment, even years after the fact. It makes me sad that I remember these so much easier than the things I'm proud of.

That time I accidentally squished that guy.

What is your greatest achievement?
Bachelor of Arts and Science. Swoot.

That time I walloped that bear square across the clearing! Also I saved a kid's life or something.

What is your greatest regret?
Everything about my honours, and a lot about my last relationship and what came after it.

That I didn't try haggis when I had the chance

What do you consider the best and worst of all your senses (that is, what do you think is the best and worst smell, best and worst taste, etc)?
Lots...
Best smell: Various foodstuffs in the process of cooking, frangipanni, Cold Power clothing detergent.
Worst smell: a guy who came into the library a few times. I had to stop shelving the DVDs when he was looking at them, because I was going to be sick.
Best sight: My cat lying all cute on his back. Really good sunsets, and really good views. One or two things I can't describe here.
Worst sight: horrible wounds and the process of acquiring them. A swarm of maggots crawling all over my loungeroom floor
Best touch: Fur against skin. Gentle caresses - not necessarily in a sexual way, people.
Worst touch: Certain rough textures when my fingers are feeling particularly sensitive for some reason. This can include, for example, stockings after a shower. Not a fan of pain, either. My bloody in-grown toenail (which thankfully is okay right now)
Best sound: Moses, as mentioned, and meditation balls. Something like sand being shaken in something like a seed pod. Heavy bass.
Worst sound: Noisy eating, as mentioned. Every now and then I come across a song I can't stand to listen to, and have to turn off lest I punch someone. Not sure what it is about them, exactly. The singing in too much heavy metal - I think I could really get into metal if it weren't for all the horrible growling and stuff.

Best everything: Everything natural.
Worst everything: Everything city.

Haruki-kun's
What do you do on your free time?
Correct people's English (it's "in your free time" )
Lately, unfortunately, mostly sitting on the computer not doing anything much. D&D sometimes, jewellery-making a fair bit lately, watching TV, going out for coffee with people... I ought to start reading more again.

Oh, you know. Swim, talk to animals, fight off wandering knights, that sort of thing.

What kind of movies do you like?
I don't like most sad endings, I'm less fond of most romcoms, do not like torture porn and really gory movies, and I'm getting kinda bored of formulaic movies. 'most everything else is fine - I'm even getting okay with zombies, which I used to hate!

Wildlife documentaries and action movies.

How'd you come across GITP?
My ex used to post here. I got it in the divorce.

GIT... P?

Ah liek you, do you liek me?
Ah liek you, do you liek me?
Keep up the good work in Iron Avatarist. Your topics are no worse than any of the past ones - I blame the Avatarists!

Where are you from?
Ha! Now there's a question.
I was born in South Australia, lived in a small country town between The Big Desert and The Little Desert until I was six, went with my dad and my sister to Armidale in the New England region until half-way through grade 6, then my dad and I moved to the blue mountains, and then I went to stay with mum in north-eastern Victoria for high school.
So, south-eastern Australia.

This nice pool in the forest.

who is your greatest Enemy?
Procrastination and laziness. Also, we have established that Innis Cabal is my archnemesis.

I have enemies?

ghost_warlock's
1. Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? If so, who?
Oh, for sure. Can't think of many now... The Lord of the Rings gave me a prolonged crush on Elijah Wood for a while, 'til I realised he has a thick neck and can't fake laughter. Also Tobias (and maybe Ax <.<) from Animorphs, and Neal and a couple of others from the Tortall books.

Steve Irwin can wrassle me any day.

2. What is one thing about yourself you're the most proud of?
Get back to me after I've been overseas.

I think my tail's pretty nice <.<

3. Roses or orchids?
Roses for smell and eating, orchids for appearance.

Rafflesia.

4. What sustains you, keeps you going every day?
Right now, that at the end of the year I'll be fulfilling a life-long dream of actually getting out of this country and properly kicking off my life.

Food, mostly.

5. How did you get to be so awesome?
It's biology, mate.

That's sweet

6. Where were you ten years ago, and what do you know now that you wish you knew back then?
Ten years ago, I was 15... Not much to do with how I was right then, but lots for uni. e.g., that I shouldn't stay at college for more than a year, that I need to get on top of things early, that if I'm burnt out at the end of my degree I shouldn't do honours straight away...

That catfish sting

7. If the human race vanished tomorrow, leaving only you and one other person to keep you company, who would you want that person to be?
Someone I haven't met yet, I'm afraid. The love of my life.

My brother Sinuous.

8. Who is one person who died before you were born that you'd most like to speak with?
Leonardo da Vinci, without a doubt. I'm like a straight, female, infinitely less talented version of him. More specifically, I'd love to be able to bring him to the modern world and show him all the amazing things we've done.

Echidna.

9. When your life comes to an end, how do you want to be remembered/what do you want to be remembered for?
For overall doing good things and being a good person, for contributing something meaningful to human knowledge.

For doing something awesome!

10. Ga! These questions have taken a turn for the depressing! Quick, what is your favorite lolcat!? (Bonus cookies for posting a pic.)
I've had a lot tickle my funnybone over the years. Lets see now... I can't think of any individual one, but Comixed are more likely than others to make me smile, and I'd like to see more with, say, platypus.
Also I tried to make "Hurt Feelings Rapper" a meme, but it didn't take off

11. What super-power would you want to use to stop Godzilla if he was attacking where you live?
Shapeshifting and/or animal communication. Granted, they're mostly just things I want anyway...

Magic, I reckon.

12. Beards or babies?
Bearded babies.

Baby beards.

13. Have you ever made up a word? If so, what is that word and what is its definition?
Probably. Don't remember it now, though.

14. Define the following word: whiloplenulent?
"The act of defining a word which has no definition."

15. What's an old-fashioned song or short schmaltzy bit of poetry that's stuck in your head?
I always have Jabberwocky, because it's amazing. I'd also like to hear that song sampled by the Aussie hip-hop group about circles and spirals and windmills.

16. Favorite mythological monster?
For a long time it was unicorns, then flying unicorns, and 'til very recently dragons. Now I think it's drakaina - specifically female dragons and serpents, particularly when they have human characteristics.

Tuataras.

17. Enough of this! I am your arch-nemesis! Where will we fight our final, climactic battle?
Somewhere warm and scenic. How's Bolivia for you?

18. In #17, above, did you defeat me? If so, how?
Yes, but you liked it

19. Do you prefer the silly questions or the serious ones?
I like the ones that I think reveal something interesting about the answerer. Those can be either.

20. Why did you decide to submit yourself to these torturous, probing questions?
All the cool kids were doing it!

For a twist, I and Renfield will ask you and Serp questions.

!) Which one of you is conceptually older? I get that one sprang into being in the mental landscape of the other, but in terms of given chronological age are you the same age, or is one or the other older?

@) When the moon sings to you, what do you hear sung?

#) If wishes were fishes would you cast nets or avoid the water?

$) How much wood should a woodchuck chuck when a woodchuck should chuck wood?

%) When the melancholy of mundane dreaming becomes too much a bother, what do you do?

^) What food that you have had at least once before but cannot get regularly would you like to try again?

&) Why do you think the caged bird sings?

*) Your thoughts on Serpentor?

() What is your role in the asylum?

)) What is good in life?

_) Orange Crush or Mello Yello?

+) Long lost cousins, or completely unrelated?

~) So ... you and me, beauty and the beast. Though if anyone else calls you beast, I'll rip their lungs out. What next?

Helgraf and Renfield's

!) Which one of you is conceptually older? I get that one sprang into being in the mental landscape of the other, but in terms of given chronological age are you the same age, or is one or the other older?
I think, generally speaking, Serpentine ages slower than me. So when I was 16, she was psychologically about 16. Now I'm 25, she's still around 20ish, psychologically speaking. Most of the time, she's probably several decades old years-wise (sometimes, she's one of the first living things).

@) When the moon sings to you, what do you hear sung?
Depends. When it's a thin sliver and the wind sighs softly through the trees, it's a vaguely sinister dirge. When it's full and there's a fair or festival going on, it's singing along with the fun, but still a little sad. Why is the moon always a little sad for me? Maybe she's lonely.

I hear she likes limericks.

#) If wishes were fishes would you cast nets or avoid the water?
I'd dive in and swim with them.

What do I need wishes for? I'd rather eat the fish.

$) How much wood should a woodchuck chuck when a woodchuck should chuck wood?
The woodchuck will chuck wood because it does, not because it should.
...and it should chuck as much as it needs, no more and no less.

%) When the melancholy of mundane dreaming becomes too much a bother, what do you do?
Expand my horizons, go back to my dreamings of school days, or bury myself in the dreamings of others.

How can dreaming be mundane?

^) What food that you have had at least once before but cannot get regularly would you like to try again?
Hmmm, good question... The main things that come to mind are more "classes" of food rather than individual foodstuffs - specifically, 5-star hotel breakfasts, and fancy Sydney Chinese restaurant 3am snackstuffs.
I had chocolate once. I want it again.

&) Why do you think the caged bird sings?
Evolutionary drive to mark his territory, no matter where he is. If he's with another bird - which I reckon most should be - then communication and conversation.
Why don't you ask him?

*) Your thoughts on Serpentor?
Hm. He was born the same year I was. How suspicious =.=
I like his armour.

() What is your role in the asylum?
That person who booked themselves in so they can leave any time but most people don't know that and are surprised when they just up and leave whenever they want.
I'm good at opening jars.

)) What is good in life?
Good music and good company in a good car on a good road. I wish I'd had more experience with that...
Sunbeams!

_) Orange Crush or Mello Yello?
What are these, soft drinks? I only really like real lemon flavoured ones mostly nowadays, pub lemon squash and lemon lime and bitters, that sorta thing.
Gotta go with "crush".

+) Long lost cousins, or completely unrelated?
Those are clearly anthropomorphised animals, whereas Serpentine is a descendent of drakainas and animal brides. No relation.

~) So ... you and me, beauty and the beast. Though if anyone else calls you beast, I'll rip their lungs out. What next?

ghost_warlock's
1. Do you hold grudges? If so, for how long?
I've been told that I do. I think I just have a limited number of stories to tell. I usually tell them as funny or weird stories, anyway... I do have a very unfortunate habit of only remembering bad and never remembering good, though. This distresses me somewhat.
Why? I already squished 'em.

2. What's your favorite band/musician?
I don't really have one. I can say that Cake is the band I most consistently enjoy, though, and Gorillaz' Demon Daze is one of the few albums I can listen to over and over. Lemon Jelly are pretty great, too.
Taliesin makes some nice music.

3. Do you like juice? If so, what is your favorite kind of juice. If not, what would you rather drink?
Yep, I like juice. I think my favourite's probably apricot nectar. Can't stand blackcurrant anything, and apple juice is only for emergencies.
Grape juice is nice.

4. Which do you prefer, wool or cotton?
Wool for winter, cotton for summer. Honestly, though, I don't really notice my fibres. I would love to be able to afford one of those alpaca-wool jackets, though... I wouldn't buy one of them, it'd just be nice to have that much money
I wear skins sometimes when it's really cold, but I usually just snuggle up with a bear and go to sleep anyway.

5. Have you ever owned a slinky?
Yes. Several, in fact, I think. And I am an expert slinky detangler.
I am slinky

6. If you could take on the mantle of an established comic-book character, which one would you choose? That is, if you could become Batman, Superman, Mysterio, Magneto, Nite Owl, etc., which would you want to become?
Is there one that can turn into animals and stuff? If so, that one.

7. Which is your favorite meal of the day?
Dessert!
There's more than one meal in a day?

8. Do you eat a lot of snacks?
I've been trying to avoid them, or at least keep them to nuts and fruit. Wish I could, though
I pick up the occasional mouse.

9. What is your favorite restaurant?
Haven't sampled enough to know, really. Dracula's on the Gold Coast is fun and tasty. Grill'd has the best burgers I've ever tasted. That Chinese restaurant in Sydney was the most expensive food I've ever had... etc etc so on and so forth.
Well I guess there's this nice grove near the stream...

10. Who was the most recent person you talked to in person?
My Boyfriend, I guess. Asked him about this tart I'm making.

11. What was the last thing you said to that person?
...asked him about this tart I'm making. Feel a bit bad, actually: cuz the oven still sounded like it was on, I assumed he hadn't taken it out like I asked him to, so I was pretty snappy

12. Which of the following two words do you think makes a sentence creepier when added to the end: 'ladies' or 'hard'?
I like "ladies" more, cuz "hard" sounds... like the sort of thing jocks would say to try to be funny. "Ladies" feels more... self-aware?

13. What do you think of when you read the word 'fishmember?'
A more disturbing version of a certain Austin Powers movie.

14. Do you like haiku?
Haikus can be fun,
But sometimes they don't make sense.
Refridgerator.

15. If you had a choice between zombies or aliens destroying humanity, which would you choose?
Oh god, **** zombies. Aliens all the way.

16. Sufficiently advanced aliens visit earth and say they'll change just one thing about you. It can be anything at all. What would you choose?
Uh... More motivation in general would probably solve most of my problems.

17. Do you think aliens from another planet ever actually visit Earth?
I believe that, given an infinite universe that has existed and will exist for an infinite time containing infinite planets in infinite galaxies... the chance that we're the only intelligent life to have ever existed must be close to zero. However, the chance that our civilisations would coincide close enough both temporaly and physically that we would ever actually make contact... Alas, I suspect that's close to zero too.
So no

18. Do you prefer to control a project from beginning to end, always repair the same flaw in someone else's project, choose to leave well enough alone, or some other mode of creation I haven't figured out here? How about cooperation with a team of competent people with clearly defined roles?
...
Ha, I nearly kept a straight face! I'm afraid I tend to be a bit controlling in team projects, but given a competent candidate for leader I prefer the position of second in command.

19. You could build your dream house within five miles of your current home. What goes into it?
...not within 5 miles of Armidale? Okay, so that's not an option... Damn, I can't think of anywhere nearby where I'd actually really like to live
I made my dream house in an Indonesian class, actually. The house was a kilometer or so across, and it featured a 100m long bed. Don't think I quite had the hang of the whole "scale" thing...

20. I give you a seed; you water it with your favorite bit of poetry. What sprouts from it?
A tum-tum tree, which turns out to be closely related to the lunchbox tree except with desserts.

Bonus: How much slurp could a Slurpintime slurp if a Slurpintime could slurp slurp?
Depends on whether I have a straw in case it makes mah teef hurt.

Do you, in fact, have any cheese here at all?

Will you go quietly when they come for you?

What is your anti-zombie weapon of choice?

Are you running to something, or from something?

What's the magic word?

What sounds and smells make you feel home/sheltered?

What colour do you like to see when waking up?

If you wanted to give a stranger a flower, would it be a beautiful one or one that smells nice?

While looking at something disgusting, do you breathe in or out?

Would you rather hug a solid or a soft creature?

What is the least bad thing one could do that still earns your eternal hatred?

If you wake up screaming, what do you scream?

Would you rather be hugged while you cry or hug someone who cries?

Could you have sex with someone without kissing them?

Which part of yourself do you fear the most?

Would you combine hot green Thai curry with Guarana?

Would you rather look elegant or cute?

If hypothetically you'd have lemon tart and very dark drinking chocolate, which book would you want to hear read to you while eating?

And what kind of voice should do that?

Fleeing something horrible, do you run up or down the stairs?

Given fitting temperatures for each, would you rather sleep with a feather bed or a woolen blanket?

Is a man squeeing cute or ridiculous?

On a scale from -Pi to G64, how disturbing are my questions?

Em Blackleaf's
Who would you say influences/influenced your sense of humor?
My dad. Dad jokes ftw!

-your hobbies/interests?

Probably my dad again... Although I only found out sometime after I got into it that he used to run D&D games for his students. But I got a lot of my mythology books and stuff from him, and we used to play computer games together. I think my mum's probably more responsible for my interest in science and religion.

-your style in terms of clothing/makeup?

I guess my sister, probably. We both rarely, if ever, wear make up and have unpierced ears, and I think she has a pretty great style - even if it's not quite for me, I do get some inspiration from it.

Who is your hero?
Don't think I have any in particular, although I think the quote from Fred Hollows in my signature is one of the most heroic things ever said.

Your dream job?
Cryptozoologist, with lots of travelling, attached to a university.

If you could be best friends with any celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?
Blech, "celebrity". I guess, though, Lady Gaga seems like she could be pretty great to hang out with.
But, dead... Man I'd love to be friends with Leonardo da Vinci.

If you could be any celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?
David Attenborough, or da Vinci again.

What's your all time favorite movie?
I don't really do favourites. But at the top of my list are: Willow, The Princess Bride, Spaceballs, Heathers, Edward Scissorhands, Robin Hood Men in Tights and Labyrinth.
Anaconda.

If you were to be stranded on a desert island, what five books would you want bring with you?
"How to survive indefinitely on this desert island", or something similar, for starters.
For entertainment purposes... World Zero Minus, The Dragon and the George, some sort of compilation of Tamora Pierce's Tortall books, and the biggest, best book of short stories in existance.

What's your favorite kind of music?
This indie dance-pop stuff that's coming into its own lately - MGMT and Empire of the Sun and Architecture in Helsinki, for instance.

What color should I paint my nails?
Purple blending into kingfisher blue tips.

rakkoon's
What is your favourite dish that you can make yourself?
Dad's recipe spaghetti bolognese with kangaroo mince, and/or the creme brulee tart.

Do you remember what your first thread on this forum was?
No, actually. Although a search finds a thread called "A Quick Rant on Stupid Books" made by me in November 2006, about... well, dodgy books, particularly those about the Egyptian pyramids.

What is your favourite kind of dragon?
That's a little tough, not least because it depends what you mean by "dragon". Drakainas, for example, are my favourite at the moment, but some of them are more... serpent-women - sometimes more woman than serpent. I'm also a big fan of the Australian Rainbow Serpent, and it's a giant snake, although he's certainly supernatural and I've seen at least one depiction of him with horns.
Less ambiguously, I have a soft spot for "dragon brides/grooms" - the enchanted serpent-people saved from their reptilian forms by true love and whatnot. I also like the ambiguity of the Serpent of the Garden of Eden, and the interconnectedness of Leviathan and its relatives.

Raccoons or badgers?
Quolls and wombats.

Favorite Dinosaur?
I desperately want a tiny tiny little stegasaurus thing that I found once. Other than that, probably something covered in spikes and armour.
Snake-necks!

Favorite torture device/method?
Well, you say "favourite"... I think the Chinese bamboo torture where they put shoots of super fast growing bamboo under the nails and let it grow is pretty cleverly awful.
Tiiiiiickllle tooooorture >=D

Favorite monster?
...drakaina again?

Do you like science fiction?
Yup, though more "soft" sci-fi than "hard:.

Regardless of whether you like it or not, someone is forcing you to watch it. Would you rather sit through Star Trek or Star Wars?
First one then the other?

Partysan
What is your favourite martial art?
I kinda like the idea of Mixed, whether it counts or not.
Tail-Whomping Style.

How did I miss Asthix's?! Sorry!

Do you have a favorite author? If so, whom?
I have several. It includes Tamora Pierce, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Jasper Fforde, Anne McCaffery... Tad Williams gets an honourable mention, and more people should read Robert C. O'Brien's stuff - come on people, he only has 4 little novels!

What was the last work of fiction you read?
I'm reading a book of ghost stories at the moment - I uh, appear to have misplaced it right now, which is a worry cuz it's a library book (think I left it at my sister's...), but it's got some 100-odd short ghost stories by various people in it.

What is your favorite thing about the Playground?
Based on the meet-up in Brisbane, the people. But also it makes me more knowledgable on D&D than my geeky friends

If you were a car, what kind of tree would you want to run into?
Something bendy, that would stop me, but not abruptly and with a minimum of damage.

How many lakes in Minnesota?
It's a trick question. Minnesota is all lake.

What is your least favorite color?
Olive green, but dammit it suits me. Or else yellow.

Bananas or no bananas?
Bananas. But never banana-flavoured stuff.
