I'm really not an animal person. At all.
I suppose that means my ideal pet would be a plant of some sort. Probably a cactus. Now that I think about it, I really should get a new cactus.

I'd have to say it's this one. The whole callback to what I had thought was just a one-off sidequest really made me sit up and take notice.

Oy. I haven't looked at Erfworld for quite a while. Sorry, but I really can't answer this one.
How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
Well, I think they're much the same, but I'm hardly a fair and impartial judge here. I am a bit of a wallflower though, and that doesn't really come across all that clearly in forums.

I know this is going to sound weird, but I hate the sound of eating. Unfortunately, this means that if I in a bad mood, I'm liable to start skipping meals which, as you might imagine, doesn't really help matters much.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Slush pile editor sounds like it could be fun, though I'd bet 'twould get old rather quickly. I think I'll go with librarian.
What profession would you not like to participate in?
Being a politician sound horrible. The fact that, in order to get anywhere in the field, I'd have to shred my morals to bits doesn't help make it more attractive, either.

Who would I want to see starve to death with me? Really, you might as well be asking who I hate most, because this is not a situation that will end well, nor will it have much anything resembling "pleasant" on the road to that ending.

As tempted as I am to lie about my age to get Asimov to qualify, I'd have to go with my Mom's mom. I wouldn't give up Grandma I've got for anything, (my Grandpa remarried) but I would like to at least have met the woman who raised my Mom for twelve years.

Now that's an interesting question, with different answers depending on how you view the word "favorite."

If seeing it in some form of media shuts down my normal standards and just goes straight to making me squee, would you then say that that must clearly be my favorite? If that's how you view a "favorite," then the gryphon is clearly my favorite, because I can't think of a griffin that hasn't made me happy to see. So would you say then that the griffon qualifies as my favorite?

Or would it be the critter that, when I see it in some form of media, gets held to an almost impossibly high standard? Is it my "favorite" if it's the one critter that I've gotten actually angry over the poor portrayals of it? If that's how you see favorites, if you see the favorite as the thing you least like seeing done wrong(Disney, you've got a lot to answer for.), then clearly the fair folk of Irish folklore are my favorite.

I made the mistake of keeping it right in front of my alarm clock back in high school. It died after I knocked the cactus off my desk, rather than hitting the off button on the alarm clock one morning. Jamming one's finger into a cactus is not a pleasant way to wake up.

Aye, though it's a very quiet noise. You need to be out where there aren't any cars going by, and any people with you need to be quiet for a bit. Next time you've got a snowfall, give it a listen. Heck, the only reason I ever listened for it was because a book made mention of the sound and I was curious as to whether or not the author was just making stuff up.

I really don't pay all that much attention to what colors I wear. That said, I was thinking it over the other day, in anticipation of this question, and I realized that wear quite a bit of brown.

What do you like to collect?
Books. I've also got a few card games I used to play, but those collections are, sadly, stagnating these days since I don't realy get to play any of them any more. It doesn't help any that the two best CCGs I used to play are both out of print.

How many avatars do you have?
I've got one that I use across the internet, but for some reason, I just didn't feel it fit in on these boards, so I never used it here.

Other than that, I've a pair of avatars that I've used here, due to ponythread antics, but neither really feels like it's "mine."

Are you ever coming to GenCon?
Probably not. I'd like to go, but the only way I really see it being affordable would be if I dropped the two local cons I attend. I'd probably have to drop them for a couple years, too.

What type of chocolate do you prefer?
The best chocolate is the kind I'm eating- just as long as it's not too bitter.

I don't have any pets. I'm really not an animal person.

What question would you like to be asked?
I like it when people ask me what my favorite joke is. It gives me a chance to share a bunch of jokes and for them to share a few as well.

What traits do you look for in an ideal pet?
I like dogs best. A dog about the size of a Shepard is good. It should bark, but shut up once the visitor is inside the door. And it should be cuddly. My current dog, Sparkle, is a black lab. He used to bark at everything until the visitor petted him. He no longer barks at visitors because he is deaf and cannot hear them walking to the door. He will probably die in the next year or two, but he is 14 so it's okay.

What is the square root of Pi?
1.86? Something close to that.

What's your favorite OOTS strip?
I like 660 the best and the others leading up to it. The whole Vaarsuvius evil arc is pretty cool. I'm trying to get something similar going in my campaign, but we're only just starting.

What's your favorite Erfworld strip?
It's the one where Stanley starts rocking out to "I Love it Loud" by KISS. I'm gonna go listen to that now. Found it.

How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
I'd say I'm more passive aggressive online. I'm also not as funny because it is difficult to get humor across in text. I am also quieter because what I would've said has already been said in the thread I check out. I'd say my avatar represents me pretty well. "Rapier wit" and always ready to point out one more thing. Also, I do have pointy ears like an elf. Mutation in my dad that I got.

My loved one, but I always hate these choices. Like, if someone barges into my house and forces me to make that choice the most appropriate choice is to attack the man for setting up such a sadistic choice. Accepting the given choices as the only ones is the problem.

Justice. I like J-words.

What is your least favorite word?
Groddy. It's slang for grotesque or gross.

What makes you enthusiastic?
Angry music. "Through the Fire and the Flames" by Dragonforce is a good example. Also, thinking about playing soccer, D&D, or dragons.

What disappoints you?
Cowardice.

What sound do you love?
I like the sound when you bring your palm down on a empty bottle. The sort of Boink noise it makes is really cool.

What sound do you hate?
People filing their nails. I have to leave the room when they do it.

What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I am currently in college at UC Davis studying to be a biochemist. If I was not a biochemist I would be a writer. I've actually had a few articles published in KODT, so I feel like I could actually make it as a writer if I tried. I think I'd prefer to do biochem and just have writing be a hobby instead.

What profession would you not like to participate in?
When I first became a biochem major I thought about being a Doctor. After meeting people in Med School I have changed my mind. It seems awful and it could destroy my marriage, so... Not happening.

Kari from Digimon. She seemed very powerful and I always like powerful people. Also, when I crushed on her she was totally my age. I imagined myself as TK sometimes.

2. What is one thing about yourself you're the most proud of?
My engagement/marriage.

3. Roses or orchids?
Roses. Orchids don't flower as often and they're too big. On the other hand Orchids smell better. I'd still go with Roses though.

4. What sustains you, keeps you going every day?
Showering when I wake up. I feel pretty awful if I don't. I don't drink coffee, so showering fills that "wake up" role in my life.

5. How did you get to be so awesome?
I've always been awesome. I am inherently awesome because of my genes for intelligence from my mom and dad. I have always been funny and I am also very devoted to some stuff like writing, D&D, and biochem. I guess my dad just telling me to keep trying is the biggest influence outside of myself.

6. Where were you ten years ago, and what do you know now that you wish you knew back then?
Ten years ago I was only 10... I was homeschooled... I can't think of anything I know now that I wish I'd known then. Sorry on copping out of this question a bit.

Like anybody? Well my fiancee would be my first pick. But if I can really pick anyone I would pick Jared who is the main character in one of the stories I am writing.

C.S. Lewis. I love his writing. I'd really like to talk to him about Christianity and other religions.

I want to be remembered for some drug or process I invented. I want to be remembered by my kids for being a great dad. I want to be remembered by gamers for an adventure I published.

The power to drill through anything. I would be able to spin my body super fast while flying. Then I would fly through Godzilla as I drilled through its chest.

To Expritiate. It is a combination of the words expire and appreciate. It means to die from laughter/happiness. I've only used it a few times because people don't know the meaning. I've also made up hella words for D&D, but the best one is for my current campaign. Dragovinian. It means dragon vampire.

I'm going to approach it as a compound word. Whiol- = take time. -plen- = plan. -ulent = liquid. Definition: The event of taking time to plan an ocean crossing.

Whither will I walk on dreams of avarice or over the fields of gold into God's own grace.

18. In #17, above, did you defeat me? If so, how?
Yes. I only had one arm at the time, so I used a double sword like Darth Maul's to counter your two swords. We fought to the music of "Through the Fire and the Flames." I won when you became distracted by the fragment of my personality I had left in your mind earlier. While you were distracted, I knocked a sword out of your hands and then absorbed it into my own sword. From there It was easy to beat you because my sword was a double and yours was not.

A mix is good. I liked the silly ones a little better though.

20. Why did you decide to submit yourself to these torturous, probing questions?
I felt like it would allow the playgrounders to know a little more about me. It'd also let me know a little bit more about myself. Finally, my players who come on here can read about me and know more about me as well.

I've thought about it, but its never worked with my schedule. I also don't like local conventions when I've gone to them. I don't think I'd like GenCon much either.

Hershey's. Their recipe has a bunch of sugar which makes it way better.

I have my black lab, Sparkle. He has a purple collar and he poops at least twice on every single walk I take him on. I think I talked about him in a previous question.

Phew... Tough question.
There are three people on a cannibal island. The cannibals are bored of eating people so instead they order the three people to go get 10 fruits of the same kind from the forest. The first guy comes back with 10 apples. The cannibals then tell him that they will set him free if he can shove all 10 apples up his butt without making a sound. The guy gets the first one and the second. He has some trouble with the third, but he manages it. Finally, he gives out on the fourth and screams in pain. The cannibals kill him and eat him. Then the second guy comes back with 10 raspberries. The cannibals tell him the same thing. He shoves the first 4 up. Then the second 4. He's about to shove the ninth raspberry up his butt when he starts laughing. The cannibals kill him and eat him.
The first guy and the second guy meet up in heaven. The first guy asks the second guy, "Why did you laugh? You almost made it through!"
The second guy says, "I saw the third guy coming back with pineapples."

An Arab, Frenchman, American and a Mexican are riding down the highway. The Mexican picks up a can of beans eats a few and throws the rest out the window. The American asks him why he threw the can out the window. the Mexican says they have so many where he is from that he doesn't care what happens to it.
The Arab picks up an AK-47. He shoots a couple of rounds and then throws the gun out the window. The American asks him why he through the gun out the window and the Arab says they have so many of those where he is from he doesn't care about what happens to them.
The Frenchman picks up a bottle of wine and drinks a little and throws it out the window. The American asks him why he tossed it. The Frenchman says they have so much of it where he is from he doesn't care what happens to it.

Lunar 1. They were both good, but I liked 1 a lot better. The romance was... sweeter. It felt more like Hiro taking advantage of Lucia in 2. Also, I liked Ghaleon as a villain better than Zophar. Zophar isn't a very complex character; he's literally the god of evil. Ghaleon was angry at the goddess Althena for something in the lore (I don't quite remember). Also, fighting Ghaleon about 3 or 4 times was pretty cool. Plus the continually bigger fortresses. I liked the Grindery best, but my favorite scene is when Luna raises the Fortress of Althena out of the ground. I actually have the WMV file saved on my harddrive and I watch it occasionally.
PS Lunar: Dragonsong is totally on my Christmas list.
