Silly Message Board GamesA forum for any kind of quote games, continuing story games, "What would you do if?" games, or whatever anyone comes up with. Old threads will now expire after one month.
Allowing this new feeling of fear dominate you, you cower in the shadows within your small container, trying to sit tight until it loses interest and leaves you be. The creature, which you've decided to name an Aquapede (+2 DNA) continues to circle the container for quite some time, until it finally decided to crawl over the container.
Thousands of tiny hairs wiggle as the Aquapede crawls over, but each and every hair stops dead when a large hole that sports a variety of sharp protrusions that seem to extend both outward and inward of the hole ends up directly above you. A strange, dark-red cord drops out of the mouth and slowly drops until it touches your membrane, which then proceeds to lash back into the toothed-hole. Quicker than you've seen them move, the Aquapede swims off the canister and disappears.
Just when you begin to think it's safe, a large, grinding vibration tears the canister to pieces around you when 4 large horns puncture completely through the canister and rip it to pieces. The Aquapede has exposed the creamy nougat center that is You. When you look up and point your eye at the creature, you notice that is not only pointing 1 horn, but 4 horns straight at you, curving it's body so that it's pointing both ends at you.
Or, lure it towards something tastier/meaner/whatever, than flee while it's busy!

As best you can, you steer clear of the horns and retreat towards one of the dead bodies surrounding your canister's ground zero point. The aquapede takes notice and you notice it stopping pointing four horns at you, reverting to it's usual movement position, AKA two horns pointed at you and two horns away from you, and watch it charge towards you much faster than you could ever run away.
To your surprise, the aquapede crawls directly over a bright purple corpse and stops moving. It begins to slowly dissolve the corpse until there simply isn't anything left. After observing these creatures before, you have a feeling that it will continue on it's predatory rampage after it's completed it's meal, but until then, it seems it's hairy underside is quite a distance off the ground.
I've got nothing. It seems this new cell has encountered a very evolved and dangerous creature. While we are still lambs for the slaughter. We have no speed, no armor, and from what I can tell no real means of attack. So I say just charge at it till something happens...

I'd like to play the spore games, how do I join exactly?
Just post. We have a few protocols mind you...
Post your suggestions in bold so they get noticed
If you want to second/third/whateverth a suggestion put that in bold too
Once a certain action has reached enough seconds (5 usually), it's considered for immediate action and update.
Good actions lead us to food, keep us safe from danger, defeat our foes in creative ways, and name things for DNA points (areas and creatures can be named so far).
Seeing an open weak-point, you charge at the creature as fast as you can with your horn pointing directly toward it it's cillia-covered underside. Unfortunately, since you lack any distinct speed ability this is about at a snail's pace. As it is enjoying it's meal, which it seems to have taken the time to eat, you manage to jab it in the underside, creating a hole that oozes a familliar purple liquid into the water around it.
Whatever went through your nucleus at the time, you decide to crawl into the hole you made within the creature. You have to shove and squeeze your way inside of it, but eventually the entirety of your body is within it, a horn pointing toward one of the ends of the aquapede.
The Aquapede waves around violently, attempting to gash you, but with only seven armor plates to move around in, it can't get you. You suddenly feel yourself moving at a high speed as the Aquapede charges, hoping you'd fall out. Unfortunately, you did not, and after quite a few fast vibrations, the Aquapede stops moving.
The thought of leaving the creature crosses your mind, but you notice some purple goo located in the Aquapede's stomach. Perhaps it's tasty.
Well, that worked well. Eat it from the inside out! This could actually be a very good tactic. We could even get a cooked meal if we combine this with heat pores!
Actually...let's just Eat some for now, and worry about getting more later. We shall rest, and hey, maybe the Aquapede will eat MORE food that we can leech off it later!

The aquapede's dead.
But we could hide inside it's empty body to rest if we eat all the goo now.
You hungrily begin to consume the Aquapede, beginning with the purple liquid as well as the remaining contents of it's stomach. You clean it out, making sure not an ounce of purple liquid remains. You feel the rush of Arsenic flowing through your cytoplasm as you decide to consume the remainder of the Aquapede itself.
After filling your stomach with a large amount of Aquapede flesh and cilia a terrible feeling wells up inside your Stomach and you regurgitate a massive amount of half-digested flesh as well as digestive juices all over the inside shell of the creature. You feel as if you've been poisoned, yet the purple goo managed to stay down, and you feel full.
After a long combat, you feel very tired, and promptly fall asleep under the safe shell of the Aquapede corpse.
You have 5 Health
You have 5 Stomach
You have 10 Endurance
You have 8 DNA
Sleep is an opportunity for reproducing, and you may, if you wish, go through the process of mitosis in order to scramble your DNA pattern and evolve new evolutions.
Availible Evolutions:
Grow Mouth: 2 DNA (Allows you to eat much faster)
Grow Nose: 4 DNA (Allows you to smell on land. +1 Perception)
Grow Ears: 4 DNA (Allows you to hear, +1 Perception)
Grow Teeth: 4 DNA (Requires mouth, increases attack by 1)
Grow Horn: 4 DNA (Gives you a crystalline or bone horn, increases attack by 1)
Grow Eye: 4 DNA (Allows you to see stuff instead of feeling it, increases Perception by 1.)
Specialize Enzymes: 0 DNA (Choose a type of food (meat, plant matter, rocks, etc.) you gain extra DNA from eating that type of food but less from others. Costs 8 to remove.)
Grow Cilia: 4 DNA (Increases Agility by 1, increases movement speed.)
Increase Mass: 4 DNA (Increases your size, as well as increasing your HP by 1)
Increase Efficiency: 4 DNA (+1 HP/Endurance)
Thicken Membrane: 2 DNA (Thickens your outer membrane, increases defense by 1 but you cannot eat without a mouth)
Grow Exoskeleton: 4 DNA (Increase defense by 1)
Grow Tongue: 5 DNA (Allows you to better taste food and determine its qualities. +1 Perception.)
Improve Enzymes: 8 DNA (Increases DNA gain, increases attack by 1 if you don't have Thicken Membrane)
