Kopva is actually a translation of Horn into *can't remember* with the special characters turned into letters they happen to look like.
So is Cornu
Dorn and Akioa is Spiky in two other languages

"When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed."

minsc's tip o' the month: Magic is impressive, but when minsc leads... SWORDS FOR EVERY ONE
I quote to make up for my lack of wit. -Me on me
This new darkness sends chills through your body, and you decide that, although you are very well rested, the safety of a burrow under a Creeper would be better than going out to explore the darkness. As the night rolls on, what feels like an eternity, although what really turns to be something around an hour, passes. Once you become too hungry to bear it, you consume the nearby creeper roots, which turn out to also be filled with delicious purple goo.
A sudden snarl coming from outside startles you. As it occurs, a loud and low moan fills your newfound ear-holes. Suddenly, the screeching sound of several dying Sweepers joins the snarling and moaning. As time passes, the snarls and moans grow louder, and become accompanied by clangs and crashes of several creatures. With what sounds like a battle occurring outside, will you, one of the only members of the Nargaal species, venture out to examine it?
The only thing more dangerous than being in the middle of an interspecies war is being in the middle of one and not knowing it.
Venture outside, but be ready to dart like you've never darted before back into the burrow.
Seconding this. We can stay safe, but we need to meet new creatures if we want to keep earning DNA.

Under the cover of the bi-lunar sky, you decide to use your cilia ans slowly sneak out of your sheltered den under the creeper. As you do so, the loud sounds of an interspecies battle continue. You draw yourself closer and closer to the source of the sound, your primitive eyes straining to see in the darkness around you.
You come upon what appears to be the source of the sound, but a confusing sight alerts you. All that the sounds seem to be coming from is one tall Creeper in front of you. Then you notice the Creeper is swaying near it's top, and a glance upward reveals a swarm of creatures. Four creatures with four tentacles each are grasping the upper fans of the creepers, and swinging back and forth on them. As they do so, they seem to be attacking the Creeper itself, and they grow loudly as they attempt to scare it.
Then a very surprising sight comes upon you. The Creeper is actually fighting back. Small holes on the fans seem to be channeling the water through them, creating a deep moaning sound. Slowly, but with many, many limbs do do so with, the Creeper is waving it's spiny fans at these tentacled creatures. Unfortunately, it's too dark to describe them clearly, but their streamlined body shape seems to be lacking any sort of spiked protrusion.
As they hear you sneaking up on them, one of the tentacled creatures leaps off of the Creeper and plants itself onto the ground in front of you. You notice it's still attached to the creeper's lower trunk, which seems to be lacking mobility. The tentacled creature turns it's body in an arcing shape and snarls at you with a toothless mouth, but threatens you with upraised frontal tentacles and a set of four green glowing eyes.
There's a tried and true method that we can use here.
Stab through it and burrow into it! Don't pull our horn out 'til it's dead!
Preferably, aim for the eye to blind it first, then dig into it from there. Use our jets to get a powerful blow.
Thirding this. If creepers can attack from the top, why did the tentacled creature attack it from there? Our enemies might know something we don't. Maybe creepers don't mind us eating the purple goo, or creepers are carnivorus and are trying to eat the tentacled beats, which I suggest we name Grinxs (plural). Singluar is a Grix.

Your rear jet flaps ripple with anticipation as you swim back with your cilia. The tentacled creature, which you've decided to name a Grix, attempts to lash out at you, but it's anchor to the Creeper is keeping it off you long enough to position yourself.
Faster than you've ever swam before, you channel a massive amount of red water through your flaps, causing you to propel yourself, horn pointed forward, towards the Grix. Before the Grix can even react, your horn plows itself directly through the creature's soft membrane, and digs itself into the Creeper behind it. In the darkness, you can make out the familiar feeling of purple liquid running down your horn.
You attempt to swim inside the Grix, using the large hole you've created, but something stops you. You are actually stuck inside the Creeper's core, and it seems like you can't simply pull yourself free. The Grix, growling in pain, waves it's tentacles around rapidly in an attempt to free itself from your skewering horn. As it does so, it whips you, creating nasty cuts in your membrane.
Tear ourselves out of the Creeper with a blast from our jets. If necessary, we will tear the Creeper itself apart to escape!
Bonus points - Let's try to aim a second blow at the Grix.
Sounds like a good plan. Second. Also, I thought about taking a bite of the goo before we did this, but Grix corpse would offer new DNA.

Mimicking the way the Muks used their jets to launch you into trees, you reverse the direction of your jet-flaps and channel water the opposite way through your body. An immense blast of water tears your horn out of the Creeper's trunk and throws you away from the tree. You have the feeling that the DNa chemical that was injected into you has been doing it's job, as the jet blast, combined with stabilization of your cilia, makes it easy to keep the pressure on.
You reverse your jets again, and before the Grix can even get itself down from the trunk, you plant it's face into it once again, skewering it with your horn. It was a softer hit this time, though, and you manage to keep yourself out of the Creeper.
The limp, mangles body of the Grix falls to the ground, it's cytoplasm spilling onto the dark sandstone. A faintly glowing green liquid spills out the four eyes of the dead Grix. Suddenly, you realize with your ears that the battle you just had created massive booming sounds, more than loud enough to alert the other Grinxs. You also notice that the interspecies battle seems to have stopped making noises.
As you look up into the dark canopy, you notice that the Creeper has stopped moving and peacefully sits still as the remainder of the Grinxs have all but dissipated. The soft green glow of the creature's eyes gives you a very dim light to the situation, and the forest remains silent, your horn dripping with Grix cytoplasm.
Congratulations on the four-even roll there. I think we finally have our battle tactic.
