I quote to make up for my lack of wit. -Me on me
As the massive creature unleashes a territorial war into the water, you are filled with the overcoming urge to flee. Moving faster than you ever thought you could, you turn around using your cillia quickly and channel enough water through your jets to launch you into the dark forest, leaving the monster behind.
When you think you're a safe distance away, you begin to look around for something to eat. A tasty looking nearby Creeper calls to you, and you swim up. By the time you take the first bite using your newly formed teeth, thick black tentacle lashes out and bisects the Creeper, sending purple goo and Creeper splinters everywhere. It suddenly falls on you, the creature is still after you.
You attempt to change direction and run, but it's too late. Two more tentacles punch splintering holes in the upper trunks of two Creepers in front of you, and you feel the water push you as the massive creature swings overhead. With a loud slam that cracks the sandstone beneath it, the massive creature lands ans unleashes a ear-splitting roar through it's monstrous jaw.The creaking sound of falling Creepers tells you that you are blocked from behind, with a monster in front.
1 even, 3 odds. You're just lucky you got out of it undamaged.

As the enormous creature readies to blast through you like the unfortunate Creepers that have fallen behind you, you quickly re-direct the water through your jets and launch yourself directly past the monster. Using your Cilia, you easily out-maneuver the monster, dodging the loud creaking of falling Creepers and the monstrous roar of an enraged creature. You continue to blast your jets as hard as you can, until you no longer recognize the dark forest around you.
Once you're sure the creature isn't behind you, you examine your surroundings. Other than several small creepers around you and several fairly large sandstone formations, the area seems quiet. You notice the very faint sound of something dripping somewhere ahead in the forest, and to your left you notice some strange shuffling.
Your stomach begins to hurt as you are very hungry, although there are no sufficiently large Creepers in the area to burrow under. In the distance, from where you ran from, you hear the faint roar of the enraged monster.
Since it's so quiet and we're so hungry I suggest eating some of the small creepers before heading off to investigate the shuffling noise. Also, I second Horrorvore.
Is the Horrorvore chasing us or did we escape? I got the impression we had managed to loose it.
We gave it the slip, but it's still out there and hungry. We don't know its tracking capabilities, and it's a big creeper forest out there. I'd rather not take chances. Until reasonable time has passed, I'm gonna be operating under the assumption that it could still be after us.

Good plan.
@Cealocanth, could you define how we can move in the three dimensions? I know we're under water of some kind (at least in practicality) but with our abilities can we swim up and down? If so how fast and for how much effort?
Your Stomach growls and you begin to long to eat something. You suddenly realize that you're in a Creeper forest, and that you are absolutely surrounded by food, to the point that you could always be taking the occasional nibble to keep yourself sustained if you wanted. You use your jets and dart over to the small, slender Creepers, and begin to feed.
As you bite into them, the purple goo does begin to seep out, but it's lighter in color and quite a bit more liquidness. You still consume it with a starving hunger, but you have to drain around four of the small Creepers of their purple liquid to fill your stomach. It's clear that the goo from these Creepers is different somehow, but the reason isn't clear.
Once you feel satisfied, you turn to investigate the strange nighttime shuffling coming from around the area. As you near the source of the sound, quite quickly by using your jets, the faint shuffling turns into a louder thumping, and appears to be coming from below you, beneath the sandstone. The thumping beneath the ground is quite repetitive, and fires in short jolts around a very wide area. You also notice that the area the thumping can be heard from is devoid of Creepers, except for the occasional dry carcass. You are in a small clearing in the forest, and the sandstone seems to concentrate toward the center of the clearing, making a short mound of light sand.
You have 5 Health
You have 7 Stomach
You have 6 Endurance
You have 5 DNA
@TrappedDoor - You focus mainly on on the ground movement, as you lack specific parts, such as fins or tentacles to pull yourself up or an air bladder to lighten yourself enough to sustain yourself off the ground. Still, if you wanted to spend a significant amount of endurance and a bit of stomach along with it, you could launch yourself off the ground using your jets, and stabilize your flight by using your Cilia. Just remember, what goes up, must come down. You will fall back down to Agaman's surface at next to full speed, as you only have your Cilia to stop the rapid descent. Falls do hurt, a lot.

You decide that these mound building creatures can't be safe for you. Whatever is going on in this clearing, you don't want to be a part of it. You are about to wander off towards the burrow you made before you were attacked by the large monster when a strange feeling crosses you.
The DNA inside your body begins to shuffle and pull apart. It reaches into every crevice, and begins to duplicate itself within you without a new body to work with. You get the feeling that, to keep from hurting you, you will need to provide this rapidly duplicating chemical with new homes, which means some serious mitosis. You decide that here isn't safe enough to do so, so you attempt to rocket yourself back to your burrow.
Rocketing through the Creepers, you notice that they get larger and larger. Your blasting rocket propels you faster than most creatures can notice you in the darkness, and your Cilia make short work of dodging Creeper trunks and other obstacles. When your instincts tell you that your burrow is nearby, you come to a screeching halt, shifting your jets into reverse.
You look around for your burrow, but you don't see it. The darkness is too covered by the Creeper fans, and wherever it is, it's very hard to find. You feel around frantically with your cilia, even digging up the soil with your large bony tusks, and eventually find it. Laying over your burrow is a large fallen Creeper. The base of it has been split in such a way that only the powerful tentacles of the monstrous creature could have broken it. Your beloved burrow has collapsed beneath the weight of a fallen Creeper.
Using your tusks and horn, you make quick work of the sandstone beneath you, turning a collapsed burrow under a fallen Creeper into a safe place to rest and reproduce. With your DNA calling for replication, you nestle into the burrow and begin to split. A new Nargaal squeezes it's way out of your burrow at the end of the process. Although it's small, with a bounty of Creepers around, it's sure to grow into a stronger member of your species.
Still the DNA calls out to you to replicate, but you feel too nutrient deprived to split again. You consume a large amount of the Creeper roots around you, and keep going. Nargaal after Nargaal, you replicate yourself until you feel as if every ounce of Endurance has been consumed by your rapid replication. As each newly formed Nargall swims off into the Creeper forest to survive like you have, they begin to form burrows in the same manner you have.
Suddenly, you feel a jolt of energy rush through your body, as the DNA begins to replicate you one last time. The newly formed DNA seems different, however, as if several genes have been eliminated due to your mitosis-frenzy. You split, and thus form a new Nargaal, but your DNA jumbles, and you feel a change coming on.
Due to your rapid reproduction rate and the successful rolling of four consecutive 2s, you have experienced a jaunt of mutation. And your random evolution is:
Improved Breath: 8 DNA (Allows you to create a pushing attack using your breath by propelling water or air rapidly out of your mouth. Requires Lungs/Gills)
You may purchase this evolution now with your DNA, and in the process, will also purchase Grow Gills for 0 DNA. If this is not purchased now, then it will not be available in the future unless it is discovered the normal way, via dominating a creature with it.
We're kinda turning into a Gobi, albeit a territorial tusked murdergobi.
LOL yeah.
And we have allies now, yay.
