Verin followed closely behind his allies. He was glad to be inside and away from the sun, but he was also wary of any hazard that might be present. Luckily, as a vampire, his eyes were well adjusted to seeing in the dark, which would certainly be advantageous as he and his allies descended further.
Weeping Crane
As the cold sensation is felt across the group, Crane's instincts kick in. The monk swiftly drifts to the fore of the group, and falls into a combat stance. I have my weapons already, he replies quietly to Reeve beside him. He flexes his fingers.

The stairway leading down consists of finely crafted stone, perhaps the work of dwarves. A breeze chills you to the bones as you take each step down. The flicker of torchlight spills from a room at the bottom of the stairs.
The lone goblin you see in the hall across from the stairs grins mischievously before hurling a dagger towards Reeve. As the dagger strikes Reeve, you hear the sounds of movement from the passage to the east before another dagger comes out of the darkness towards Crane, clanging off the wall above his shoulder.
Suddenly, when you thought the goblins were done, two bolts come from behind the goblin to the south, one aimed at Crane and the other at Reeve. Both arrows find their marks and you can see two sprightlier goblins back at the end of the hall.

Reeve moves forward in an attempt to reach the goblin in the southern hallway only to have the floor drop out from under him. As he starts falling into the pit, he notices that the floor in one corner of the pit is covered in a writhing mass of rats. Just before Reeve drops below the lip of the pit, he sticks out his arms and catches himself.
Crunch:
Spoiler
Reeve discovers a pit trap, this also reveals a number of tiny rats scurrying about in the corner of the pit. Reeve Saves and is now prone in V31 and can continue with his minor and standard.
New map won't be up until tonight, I hope I have given enough detail here that we can keep posting though. Verin is up.
Verin knew that he couldn't quite reach the goblins from where he was without walking over the pit, which he certainly couldn't do. Luckily, one of the advantages of lycanthropy was the ability to run more quickly when transformed. He spent a moment transforming into a wolf, then maneuvered himself to a position in which he could hit the closest goblin.

The goblin in Cranes grasp brings its sword around and manages to slightly injure the warrior but is unable to loosen Crane's grasp sufficiently and his escape attempt it is ineffectual. The goblin down the east hallway throws another dagger, this time aiming for Verin but it sails harmlessly into the pillar.
The two bow wielding goblins take careful aim and fire at Crane and Verin. The one shooting at Crane manages a very accurate shot, seriously wounding Crane while the other misses Verin completely. The warrior takes the goblin he is grabbing by the throat and tries to heave him into the pit.

Do I get some kind of bonus here for being one size category larger than him? It seems like dragging a goblin would be easier than a human, which would in turn be easier than a giant (even though I can technically grab all three equally easily).

Upon having blood drawn, Reeve lets out a roar that sends terror into any enemies near him. Barely able to keep his wits about him with the blood running down his face, he slides away from the foe who bloodied him, moving inbetween the enemy who looks most hurt and the pesky rat swarm.

As the goblin attempts to escape from Crane, the warrior lashes out but is unable to land his blow.
Reeve, with his blood once again flowing, lets his anger wash over the three closest foes putting them off balance before lashing out twice at the bleeding goblin. The first attack misses harmlessly but the second causes the goblin to bleed more profusely as well as granting some respite to Verin.
