Write it down? Or you mean it doesn't fit where you want the character to go and would seem strange post-character development and revealing of backstory?

That and it's just hard to remember, and unfitting for a necromancer. The example given for Belkar? Kinda like that.
Decided to name her Tamara instead. Make it simpler for the reader.

We all have this problem. Sadly no one uses my other thread. Oh well.
@ Saturn, do whatever. You are the one with more free time. What you can do is look up for about that Project Wonderful stuff is, and what you need to do to apply for an ad position etc. So, probably what you were going to do anyway.
After check relevant Giantitp thread, yes, you have to pay for an ad. And at this point, I believe it is not yet worth it. Later, it will be.

I still think that your comic tends to be better than some of the webcomics that grace the top banner of the forums. It appears that the ad's will become a fixture of the forums, but with the $20/day price tag of some of these banners, I'd probably postpone an advertisement for Tales. And I'd want to make a better banner too.

That's what I was saying. New comic's probably coming up soon. In the meantime, we can treasure what we have. And I need to think of more parodies for the banner.

Yay! Happy! New comic! Yay! Soon. Sometime. Maybe in a week... *waits impatiently*

Make fun of Final Fantasy's ever changing level up system. (stabs the sphere grid repeatedly)

K guys, maybe no comic yet because I can't find my drawn draft sheet, but I can provide the scanned final sketch of Ben. I will keep them in their original pencil.

Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
Some fancomics enter 100's of strips and continue to be in the forums. Having a single place to have all your comics is a pretty convenient thing. Give it a little time and we'd have facebook combining with GITP.
It would be more of a hassle to go somewhere else for my Tales fix unless it became a beast to be reckoned with. That would require TK to quit school though. I don't think that's going to happen.

Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
I like the forum, so the comic will stay here. Even if I am given my own site, I'd still stay here.
Good news is that I have planned out a valence shell of the story. In doing so, I have planned the ending, so I hope it will be the beast that reckons you Saturn. Still have to go one level deeper at a time, until all the parts of the story converge into the protagonists and the plot, making the story complete.
So many plans, I just have to follow through.
And the timing stuff should get better after the first semester. Plus college apps are going on right now.
Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
Oh right, just go to UC Berkeley. California's a state that makes you apply in October and find out months later in April. If you move to Alabama, you can apply late June and find that you're accepted in less than two weeks. Good luck with those!
...Valence shell of the story... *facepalms*

No, no Berkeley for me. And as for the valence shell, I mean that there is still tons of story beneath it in levels, and I have just touched on the outermost layer. Not to say the ones below don't matter...
Still, I think valence shell story is a good way to put it.
I tried to squeeze that last bit, because I had planned for the comic to end that way, but I didn't want to make a second comic just to make the save point joke. So I squeezed battle mechanic intro with some exposition and another JRPG poke all in one.
Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
She'll get her thing when she gets

double jumping and a fourth- maybe fifth attack combo
.
To me, Aria is agile fighter with jumpy combo artes, while Ben in the slower defensive knockback-inducing fighter with spells. We still need a main mage, a real healer cleric, a kid, and a gimmick fighter. Actually, they're all done except the gimmick person.
Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
An update, rewrote plot of next few chapters, plus college apps time, so will be slow. I'll try to improve my work sleep schedule to have free time for comic making.

Then there's video games...
No hurry. Real Life first, funny comic second. Unless funny comic=your job. Then funny comic must be the only drive in your life, ever.

Re: Tales of Revelia: JRPG-styled Fantasy Webcomic
I hope you finished your college applications, because the deadline is fast approaching. Don't let overloaded servers the day of the deadline keep you from submitting your application. Haha.
Video games over drawing comics? Heresy!.. Against what... that is the problem now...
