Hello hello!
It's 1:40 in the morning for me (well, for the whole eastern coast of Australia), and I'm wide awake so I figured now is as good a time as any to start posting.
Welcome hierophant and YourNewOverlord. Refreshments are to your left. Just watch out for the warpstone in the cupcakes. Skaven have a very "upwardly mobile" command structure so we tend to poisen people.

I'm new to everything here by in every possible way. I'm new to D&D, this community and, well, that's it.
I am totally charmed by OOTS (V being my favorite character), and I decided to look at the community around it and to maybe have some fun with it. I really hope to play some play-by-post or something here, since I didn't find a decent community in my city yet.
Hi! I joined because I saw a philosophy post that I wanted to talk about but it ended up being kind of combative so I'm posting here to prevent my first post making enemies. I like(d) Star Wars and the Lord of the Rings and the Hunger Games franchises, and now I like the Mass Effect universe, Harry Potter, and the concept of the game Achron.
OotS fueled a (purely theoretical) love of character creation and formal systems, which actually helped determine my major! (i.e. I recently declared Math as 1/3 of a triple major, in conjunction with the Logic component of the philosophy major. Both are just ways to push back the evil from getting a degree in Economics.)
Hello, I'm new here. I joined because Oots is awesome, and, as Your New Overlord, I should make my presence known to things that are awesome.
Overlord persona aside, I'm now on the forums! (You may know me as KirbyandHobbes, or Carnivore-x on other forums.)
Ah, I love the smell of a new megalomaniac joining the forums. I was once thus, though it left me soon enough. We shall watch your career with interest.

The key to a happy tenure on these forums is to take everyone's posts in the best possible way, and to post assuming they will take yours in the worst. Also, "when in doubt, don't."
Just started reading Order of The Stick today, love it. I'm a Dm for Pathfinder games in my spare time. I love to create terrain pieces for my games. uh, yeah. Hi.
I started reading OOTS earlier this week and like it so much that I am already caught up and eagerly awaiting the next update. My favorite character is Belkar, with Thog coming in at second.
I read. A lot. Primarily fantasy, with some sci-fi. And I write - again, primarily fantasy. I also write poetry; mostly morbid, ironic, and comedic. Actually, mostly morbid-ironic-comedic.
That's pretty much it. So, hi. Bye. See ya' around. You can stop reading now. No really. Oh for the love of-

I take poetry requests. Note: I do morbid poems best. No, that does not say anything about me.
Lurking the comics my brother gave me (OOtS) brought me here. ^^ It's a really funny one, and I hope that joining here will refresh my interest for D&D, seeing as I have not played for a while, and never tried it online (my only experiences with it have been real life)
My english might not be extraordinaire as it's my third language ^^
I hope to explore dungeons and kill dragons with you all in the future!
Hello everybody! I just finished registering and look forward to chilling on the forum and hopefully doing some role-playing; I just recently moved from being a video-gamer into a table-top and video-gamer and the only DnD character I have is a Bladesinger named Gareth. It's a pleasure to meet you all
Former member years ago... back in 07 or 08 I do belive, when I crossposted stuff between here and good ol' Gleemax in the roleplaying session. And then 4e happened. And then my gaming group fell apart. And then I started university. And then I failed to RP much over the past four years at all. Etcetera etcetera.
However, I've decided to stop lurking and actually, you know, do something in the numerous old forums I regularly frequent/used to be a part of. Of course, I just so happened to forget my account here at GiantITP as well as the email account I had to go with it, because you know, genius!
Anyhow, hopefully I will soon(-ish) be a productive member of the gaming community once again, and this seems as good a place to start as any, given my love for homebrewed goodness (Ask me about my Dragon submissions ) .
As for when I started reading OotS... umm... I remember reading strips in the local library back in early high school, specifically the trip to the Oracle (the first one) which would have been about a year before I started at Gleemax, so 2006-ish?
...
Wow, this comic has been around for a while.

Greetings, I am new here. Been reading the strip for years and after donating to the Kickstarter I figured it might be a good time to also check out the forum.
So hi!

Hello people of the forum, I'm relatively new here and wondering why i turned into a pixie. I want to use my halfling druid in a campaign since I recently became a fan of Dnd through the funny OotS comic. Musta sa lahat!

I've been lurking around your forums for the past week and a half (mainly in the 3.5e info area) and decided to finally join. I look forward to meeting you guys, and taking part in your community.
I just hope you don't mind having a newb in your ranks.
Long time but infrequent lurker. Thought I’d say hello and see what this avatar looks like (you’d think there’d be an easier way to see what it looks like before posting…)
If you’ll see me it’ll probably be in Homebrew. I have tons of ideas I’m eager to share with an enthusiastic crowd!
