Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Sorry I haven't posted anything in the IC thread in forever. If you guys feel I'm not committed or providing any RP stuff for y'all ... feel free to tell me to leave.
Edit: As it looks like it's the next morning, I'll post my big exploration post on picking up items, and then end my post with him waking in the morning too. I'll have it up ASAP.

I'm happy to assume you've bought your expansion item. I'm working on the details. (I'm being a bit slow, sorry.) I've also not forgotten a request for xp.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Responding to your OOC in the IC, Togo, Simon would have pumped his spells into whoever needed healing, knowing we would have opportunity to refresh ourselves soon. So...We stop when Derk is at full HP. Then, if anybody wants healing as well, we keep going until I've healed ALL THE WOUNDS!
First up, three Cure Critical Wounds.
1. (4d8+14)[37]
2. (4d8+14)[30]
3. (4d8+14)[35]
Then, five Cure Serious Wounds. Which should cover it.
1. (3d8+14)[19]
2. (3d8+14)[25]
3. (3d8+14)[24]
4. (3d8+14)[31]
5. (3d8+14)[31]

Thanks, Simon, I feel a lot beter now .
Ifni, I just figured something out. This plan is not of immediate need, but just want to drop it here. Could you, at some point, make me a headband of intellect +4? Then I would be eligible for combat expertise from your heroics and it would also be a good choice of feat for my lvl 18 feat, methinks.

Once we have downtime I would be very happy to do that
Hmm, new challenge, how high can we get Derk's AC...
(Once you have Combat Expertise naturally, I could give you Improved Combat Expertise with Heroics, and with Godot's buffs you might still be able to hit things, since you're not power attacking )

Great, thanks! A quick glance tells me that with improved combat expertise the AC (at 20) will cap around 70, with a ~+32 still on attack (assuming a +9godot buff and sacking a 9th level spell on arcane strike and optimal magic item possession). That's a pretty epic AC .
EDIT:
Tomorrow morning I am driving off to Sweden for work and will be back the 8th of November. I am assuming that the University I will be working at will be providing me with internet, so I should be able to carry on posting. If it ends up so that I will not have internet the next weeks I will not be posting and then this is my notification. That chance is very low, however.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Might my character have some idea? Mutations and twists of flesh are her specialty, after all.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I've been avoiding posting to the IC in order to give Godot and Simon time to carry on with their examination, and for Androse to reply to Umbriel's question if he wants to, but if the people who aren't examining the prisoner want something to do, I'd be happy to post that Umbriel's heading over to the Foundary.
Round-up of buffs: (not counting Umbriel's personal buffs, which are listed on her sheet)
All-day, cast ASAP:
-Chained Greater Magic Weapon +5 on everyone's weapons (seriously, if it's a manufactured weapon or counts as one, please update it to +5 now, I am nowhere near running out of targets).
-Greater Mage Armor on Androse (+6 armor bonus to AC, doesn't stack with worn armor, but will work in dragon-form).
-Extended Create Magic Tattoo (+1 CL) on Godot, taking 10 on the Craft (Calligraphy) check.
Shorter-term, cast when Umbriel leaves for the Foundary:
-Extended Spiderskin on Simon, Derk, Rhion and Androse. Lasts 400 minutes, i.e. 6h 40m.
Shortest-term, cast before going to our lunch meeting, if nothing else happens before then:
-Heroics on Androse. Lasts 200 minutes, i.e. 3h 20m.
All are CL 20.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I was thinking of posting the lunch meeting at the Foundary as the next scene, handle everything people want to do that morning off camera, and let them talk about it IC if they want.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Works for me. Umbriel is going to check out the library and crafting resources at the Foundary. Trying to learn about the local Illumians can wait for another day.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
If we're good to assume that Godot has established some basic rapport with Renfield, that Simon has tried and failed to cure him, and that thjey've all eaten, I'm good to move on.

Same here. I have access to internet here, but I am extremely busy, working from 8-24 every day...will try to keep up, though.

Provided everyone is finished here....
Just to check, is this still the plan, or are we waiting for someone? It's been almost a week, so just wanted to check

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Hey folks. I don't know how much you all know about the storm that hit the Northeast just last week, but it was pretty bad. I just got power back today, and I'm ready to begin again.
Though, it doesn't look like I missed much action here.

Sorry for the delay in posting, I was driving then on a plane for all of yesterday. I had Umbriel spend the morning taking a quick look around the Foundary; if that's okay, can I get a description of what the workshops here are like?

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Ah, I think I see the confusion. The letter is (at least apparently) from Nephira, who is one of the mages working with Kalinor. Not Lycanthe, who is the Daughter of Korolis we fought last night.
Of course, if Derk's confusion is IC, disentangling this may take a bit of time, I just thought I'd note this in case the confusion was OOC

Arf, that confusion was completely OOC. I don't mind carrying that over to IC. He wisdom is not stellar and events have been stacking swiftly lately :).

Sorry about that.
No worries, happens to all of us - and Godot's propagation of the confusion gave Umbriel enough clues to realize what the problem was
I'm assuming the compound is pretty close to the Foundary since it woke us up this morning, is that right? If it'll take more than a few minutes to get there, I can Alacritously Cogitate a Teleport.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
It's about... 7-8 streets away, up Silver Street, which is the street you can see out of the window. About a 10 min walk, although it may take more like 15 due to the crowds and market stalls in Silver Street.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Umbriel takes 10 on the CL check using Arcane Mastery, getting 29 (since the Arcane Sight is a beguiler spell). If her wizard CL is relevant (e.g. if the Dragonsight needs a CL check to crack anti-divination protections), taking 10 gets her 30.
As a general rule, I'm happy to say that Umbriel always takes 10 on CL checks unless she knows she's failed a check against that target before.
Umbriel has a nice array of stealth spells for the party here I'll plan to toss up Zone of Silence and Invisibility Sphere once I know what the effect on the guards is - don't want to accidentally draw their attention by casting, but if Neph could get away with what she just did, it seems like a fairly robust enchantment.
Have a good holiday, Togo
EDIT: Actually, I'm just going to go ahead and post, I think I can pull this off fairly safely.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Two things.
(1) Awesome
(2) Flurry of Knowledge Checks!
Likely to be important:
Religion: (1d20+35)[47] (on the prayer, and the warlord)
Arcana: (1d20+35)[42] (opening a portal from Sigil, what does it generally take? is this a portal ritual Umbriel's ever heard of before? also possibly relevant to warlord)
Planes: (1d20+35)[38] (same question as Arcana re Sigil, any clue what plane they're contacting? also possibly relevant to warlord)
Maybe important:
Local: (1d20+18)[25] (identity of warlord?)
Nobility & Royalty: (1d20+18)[30] (ditto)
History: (1d20+18)[31] (ditto, plus understanding the context of the prayer)
Architecture & Engineering: (1d20+18)[19] (is the way they have the mirrors set up reflective of any particular place/faction's preferred architecture? also, how stable does the whole configuration look?)
Probably not important, but who knows:
Dungeoneering: (1d20+18)[23]
Nature: (1d20+18)[36]
Geography: (1d20+18)[24]
And a Spellcraft check for good measure. (1d20+32)[42]

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
New post is up. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
Umbriel
Spoiler
As you pass Nephira you notice that she has a weak transformation spell upon her. It's possible that her pristine and unruffled appearance is not entirely natural. This was being sheilded by an abjuration effect which you managed to penetrate.
Xiulcoatl:
Happy to disregard the transformation post. I too like the idea of sneaky dragons on tiptoes, or rather claws.
