Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Sorry I've been so sporatic, guys. The internet can be a bit distracting.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I think we're definitely drifting into a conversation that would be better off screen. Discussion of spells and components isn't really to useful to most of the characters.
I can keep things going if there's actually things that need to be said. Otherwise, can we wrap up the scene so as to keep things moving? Let me know of any objection, however small.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Right - both I and Umbriel agree I was just asking about the jade in case he had some, because Elisha did mention it.
Umbriel has nothing more to say to Uzark at this point.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Togo, clarification: the effect Umbriel spotted on Neph in this post, was it transmutation or illusion? Just wondering, as my check on Nerra identified their racial ability as Disguise Self, and I spotted an Illusion aura on her earlier (here). If it's actually transmutation, that might imply something interesting, just want to check I'm not reading too much into it.
Ok, that's an oversight on my part. Nephira has had (faint) illusion magic on her every time anyone has been able to detect such things. The transmutation is new, and is in addition to the illusion. Does that make more sense?

Aha, good - and interesting. Thanks. I'll go edit.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I've been okay with the pacing so far (although feeling it got a little slow just recently), and I do like chatting to the NPCs, but I strongly do not want to be the only one talking! I have no objection to dialing up the pace, Togo, if you can see a good way to do it - I'm traveling at the moment, but will be home Saturday, and I have Internet access in the evenings anyway.
That said, I wanted to pass on the information about the Nerra to the rest of the group, so we can decide what - if anything - to do about Nephira.

I very much enjoy reading those conversations, but I also don't want to butt in on an already productive conversation just for the sake of making my character speak.
So, my apologies if I seem to post rarely, but take comfort in that I always follow the game, per se.
Anyway, will force myself to post more often.

I'm also happy to edit my last post if people are having trouble thinking of how to respond to that info-dump - but if life is just being busy for everyone, no worries, I'll be here and ready when we pick up the pace again.

*pokes* Anyone around?
(Hmm, my previous OOC post was not showing up in my subscriptions...)

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I actually have the Manual of the Planes and the Fiend Folio, so I do know a bit.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Good assumption, I think Umbriel will keep an eye out for a jewelry or gemstone shop along the way - even if they don't have spell-component-quality jade, they might know where she can get it.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I've finally come up with details about Sthrer's origins. :D

Good good. I swear, I'll stop slowing things down with chatter / side errands, right after this last thing... We have a goddess to rescue and a cult of Cyric to beat up!
