Re: The World in Revolt OOC
I would love for Bugbear to react quite violently at this point, but would you rather I wait for an initiative call?

I think an init call would be best, if that's OK.

Re: The World in Revolt OOC
Sounds good to me! Forgive a newbie, but how do you prefer to handle initiative? Will you roll for us all, or do you want us to each post our own?

I'll have everyone roll init, and act on that order, because we're all fairly active. I may change this if need be.

Should we wait for a "Your turn" or just dive in when it looks like our turn? (like now for me)

Just go in when it's your turn. If monsters have interrupts, I'll ask you to wait between turns so I can resolve them.

Re: The World in Revolt OOC
Bugbear's plan here is to provoke an attack from Guard 1 as he walks past him. I will post the rest of my turn after you decide whether the Guard will take his attack of opportunity (and face whatever consequences our dear Goliath friend has in store
).
@WaffleLord: Having two defenders, especially when one is a mass-marking machine like a Warden, is definitely going to result in some overlap. If you ever want to chat about some strategy, like you would prefer to keep your mark on a certain enemy, let me know (I'll PM you with my skype and gchat info).

Re: The World in Revolt OOC
Assuming the first dart attack against Mel hit , I believe we can see the sneaky little bugger now!
Sorry for causing confusion but I wasn't done my turn yet... Since I was intentionally provoking an attack, I was waiting to see if the Guard was going to take a swing at me, let the appropriate interrupting actions take place, then finish the rest of my turn. I should have been more clear in my IC post.
Oh well, no harm done!

No problem, we can say you moved, then the lizard attacked you, and then I failed.

Phew, that was close!
WaffleLord, would dear Melhved care to respond?
I'll finish my turn once you've posted with your Warden's Fury Interrupt attack (assuming you actually choose to do so).
Defender ping-pong FTW!

Re: The World in Revolt OOC
Well that seemed to work out just fine!
(For any fellow Reddit/4chan/meme fans:)
@Lemonus : If Bugbear was successful with his primary and secondary attacks (i.e., the Guard is knocked prone), I would like to follow up with an action point. I'll wait for you to let me know before posting.
Edit: Crap, spoke too soon! Critical miss on an Action Point attack...

Oh, noes! I´ve been poisoned!
No, wait. I have this amulet that makes me resist 5 Poison. Does that mean I won´t get any damage?

I think that you don't take damage, although you are still slowed.
Also, are you guys looking at the replacement thread? You'll be the ones who pick the new players.

I am, and I´ll be rooting for the Drow Vampire. It´s gonna be cool if we end up with a paladin too, and he confuses her repeatedly for an enemy.

Re: The World in Revolt OOC
Everyone's looking great so far; I've played a Vampire before, they can be a lot of fun, if a bit fragile (but we've also got two defenders, so I'm not worried). Rangers do their jobs well, no worries there. And I've got lots of love for Warlords, my favourite leader by far!
For how long would you like to keep the recruitment thread open?

I think we'll decide this afternoon.
I prefer the Ranger, because you guys could probably use another ranged character. But whatever you decide.

Any reason we couldn't invite all three to join us? Or is six PCs too crowded for a pbp game?

I´ve got ranged attacks, but it wouldnt be wise to use them when the rest of my team is in front of me.
And yeah! The more the merrier, right?

Ironically (given my character), I'm not much of a drinker. I assume the Canadian stuff is better?
...
Well, so much for my big entrance into the thread.
Anyway, I claim this color .
Is it too late to give my character a standard adventurer's kit? Otherwise, He'll have to be a moocher for a while.
