Seeing their leader charge into the darkened room, followed by another flash of fire, rouses the Goliath to action. She charges down the hallway and, turning the corner, brings her sword in a long arc. Trailing primal energy, it sweeps through both enemies and return to her with stolen energies. As she closes on the zombie, cold permeates her being, chilling her to the bone. Nearing the second zombie, the cold becomes even more penetrating.
Spoiler
Takes 10 cold damage for entering Zombies' Aura (stack)

Wellspring Strike vs Zombie2 AC - (1d20+14)[27] HIT
Damage - (1d8+7)[13]

You notice the slightly glowing ice over in front of the portcullis. You bet that the ice has some tricky magic to it to make you hit the canvas.
Melhved
Spoiler
She notices the slightly glowing ice that separates the rest of the room from the portcullis. You believe that the enchantment increases the slipperiness of the ice. On the floor in the room, you recognize the rune of Zehir, God of Evil, painted upon the stones. From your religious studies, you remember Chillborn Zombies are natural animates, undead creatures. They have a cold aura, slam their opponents, and explode in a cold burst upon death. They are immune to disease and poison, resists cold and necrotic, and vulnerable fire and radiant. The Blazing Skeletons, also natural animated undead creatures, have a fire aura, claw their enemies, and throw fire. They are immune to disease and poison, resist fire and necrotic, and are vulnerable to radiant energies.
Radiel
Spoiler
You remember, from another era, the rune painted on the floor to be that of Zehir, God of Evil. From papers long since seen, you make these creatures out to be Chillborn Zombies and Blazing Skeletons, both natural undead animations.
Viola
Spoiler
You become highly suspicious of the ice covering the end of the room. You suspect a trap..
Wilian
Spoiler
You mentor once mentioned creatures matching these descriptions while your were taking a midnight stroll by a cemetery. They are Chillborn Zombies and Blazing Skeletons. They are natural undead animates.
Wolfen
Spoiler
The ice at the end of the room is likely to be a trap that will cause you to slide and fall prone. Best avoided. The Chillborn Zombies and Blazing Skeletons are known by name only. They are your typical undead animates, perfectly natural.
Charge!
Move to G 18
Use Vampire Slam as a MBA (1d20+13)[33] vs Reflex
on hit (1d10+15)[22] dmg
I'd like to use Guide the Charge from Wolfen to add 3 damage and push 2 squares, into J18, then push 1 sq from my Vampire Slam into K18
I opt not to shift with the target, as per Guide the Charge
EDIT well, that looks like a critical hit. It will do 25 damage, plus [roll]2d6[/roll]

KER-WHAM!!
The dainty Drow rushes forward, lowering her shoulder like a minotaur's head and bringing it up at the last minute at Wolfen's cue, rocking the zombie back on its heels with such force that it takes quite some distance to regain its balance. The cold from the zombie's presence chills Viola but for a moment, the heat and glow from battle warming her quickly. On the subject of warming, you see the zombie begin to smolder as it comes to a rest next to the flaming zombie.
Spoiler
Looks like she stole your good roll, Cheesy.
Viola takes 5 points cold damage from entering the zombie aura (aura 2)
Radiel's eyes flare white once more, bright even among the flames that engulf him, as he steps forward and begins to call down a malediction on the creatures. He squints as he glances toward Viola briefly before ceasing his chant. Instead he shouts a phrase like the beating of the drums of war and the rattling of prisoners' chains. Silvery tendrils glowing with divine energy shoot from the ground in the summoning sigil, tangling their way around both zombies and snaking off to ensnare one of the skeletons. The chains dig into them, pulling them toward the ground so fiercely that it crushes bone, rendering them barely able to move. The weakened zombie, already brutalized, is crushed into a pulp by the force of the chains, left immobile on the stone.
Spoiler
Move to F17, invoke Chains of Carceri at J17, hitting Z1, Z2, and S1.
Rolls are versus Reflex. (1d20+10)[22] Z1 (1d20+10)[20] Z2 (1d20+10)[19] S1 (2d8+9)[16] Damage (untyped)
Victims are slowed until the end of my next turn on hit.
If one of them misses, I'll use Memory of a Thousand Lifetimes on the first miss to add the following amount to the roll: (1d6)[4]
I take 5 fire damage.

The beat-upon zombie shudders as the chains pull it downward until it collapses to the ground, releasing a tight explosion of frigid energy in its immediate area. The cold hisses and steams at the touch of the skeleton's fire creating a burst of mist in the area.
Wilian sticks himself to the wall, and runs past Bugbear, behind Viola and the cold conflict, throwing his contribution as a shock jumping to the mist and striking all skeletons.

Bugbear stomps dramatically down the narrow hallway like he was entering a gladiator's arena, grinding each fist into the other palm in turn, knuckles cracking loudly, a wide, devious grin spreading across his face.
Marching past his friends, Bugbear wraps one huge arm around the neck of the frost-covered zombie grasping at Wolfen. "Let's you and me dance now, Snowflake." Bugbear stage-whispers menacingly into the creature's ear(-hole?) as he continues walking into the room, not even breaking pace as he wrenches the zombie off its feet and off of the warlord. Bugbear drags the moaning undead thing across the strange symbol on the floor, his arm growing numb from the cold, until he is face-to-skull with the flaming creature that attacked him earlier. The unnaturally cold zombie starts to howl as it smokes and burns from the heat of its fellow monster.
Bugbear leans his face down until the whiskers of his sideburns begin to singe and screams a maniacal, laughing challenge right into the face of the skeleton. "HA-HAAAA!!! YOU WANT ME, MATCHSTICK?! YOU GOT ME!!"

Writhing in Bugbear's meaty grasp, the icy zombie tries to wriggle free, then brings it chilly fists down on the fighter's shoulders. Viola rushes forward and delivers a devastating flying kick to the burning skeleton, sending it staggering back into the ice. Radiel begins a furious forward march, striding through the chaos as his voice sends bits of rubble loose from the walls. As he steps to the front line, he looses a devastating roar that sends columns of light shooting through the cracks in the stone below and chars the undead within their terrible radiance to cinders, sending them fleeing from Radiel's still-howling visage.

With a wave of his staff, Wilian sends an arcane bolt at the far skeleton with unerring accuracy. The glimmering shaft of power lances through the boney chest.
Bugbear sees the skeleton reel under Wilian's arcane assault, then start preparing to launch another fireball. With a quick glance towards the treacherous icy patch of ground, the old grappler takes a step back, then runs forward and launches himself through the air, arms and legs spread wide like a cat thrown from a window, screaming "BUUUUG BOOOOOOOMB!!!" before slamming into the flaming undead.

Finding themselves tossed about and floored, the skeleton show no emotion as they relentlessly attack (of course, having no skin makes emotions unreadable, anyway). The one at Bugbear's feet tries to rake him with his claws while the other steps to engulf Radiel in his fiery aura and claw him as well. Radiel is caught full in the chest, his robes singed and torn, while the attack on Bugbear gets more floor than wrestler.

Bugbear leans through the skeleton-sized hole smashed in the portcullis, staring intently into the darkness, hoping to catch sight of any more of these creatures trying to sneak up on him and his team mates. He steps to the top of the stairs, and, without thinking, reaches his hand out to grasp an empty torch sconce on the wall for support. He barely has time to register the click sound the fixture makes as it pivots under his touch, before the ground beneath his feet drops open like tavern doors, only to snap back into place before he has time to shout!
Fortunately for Bugbear, his fall was broken by the substantial girth of the trap's previous victim, a hefty-looking dwarf in cheap armour, still fresh enough to be soft. Unfortunately he was also rotten enough to burst like a sack of vegetable soup when the big grappler landed on him.
Recovering himself, Bugbear digs out a torch, lights it, and looks up at the smooth rock ceiling he just fell through. Nothing to grab, no way to climb back up, and only one door out of the room he now occupied. Looking at the broken-off handle that set off the trap, Bugbear seriously doubted his friends were going to be able to open it again, let alone haul his butt back up to their level.
Hoping the young Drow lady's ears were sensitive enough to hear him, Bugbear shouted up at the now-sealed trap door, "Hey, Viola! Don't you worry little lady, Bugbear's not hurt, but I'm not going to be able to get back up to ya the way I got down here! You all go on ahead, I'll find a way to catch up to you soon as I can!"
Walking over to the wooden door in the North wall, Bugbear says to himself, "You be safe up there Billy..."
Viper's Strike on skeleton. Attack: (1d20+12)[18]. Damage: (1d10+7)[12]. Hit or miss, if enemy shifts before start of my next turn, it provokes AoO from Melhved.
