But I agree that Jim will roll a 1 in his attempt to shoot Han, then decide to take over Han's character afterwards. Sounds like something Jim would do.

Maybe Jim thinks it's a corruption of "Jaffa", as in "Jaffa cake" (a chocolate and orange jelly cookie popular in Europe at least (at least I've seen them on sale in Finland and Yogscast references them regularly)). Those are usually round though, I'm not certain where he's getting "triangular" from.

In my posts, smilies generally correspond to my expression at the time. As an example, means "huh?" and "Hmm..". Also, "Landis" is fine.
I'm guessing it's another side-wise comment by the authors, about the dumbness of Luke going by his actual name when he was incognito and adopted specifically to protect him from his father. The GM is generally more clever and subtle than George Lucas, and likes springing surprise continuity on his players.
Either that or Adam being Luke will be an ad lib when Corey whines about wanting to play a Cheddar Monk, but I think the first is more likely.

They even kind of look like samosas, with their brown robes.

It's relatively easy for the players to figure out who Princess and Adam really are. At least for Annie. And Ben if he comes back. They both know who the Lars are, if nobody else payed attention, and I'm pretty sure they know where Leia ended up.
Annie was very good at working with the GM in secret and keeping her mouth shut about plot spoilers during the prequels. She's also probably the only one besides Ben who paid enough attention to remember who the Larses are - Corey absolutely doesn't know, and Jim and Sally probably aren't paying enough attention to care. Princess Leia's identity was clearly written into her backstory by Annie and cleared with the GM - whether she waits until the last second to reveal it like in canon remains to be seen.

I'm calling it now: The scene where Luke tells Leia she's his sister, right at the end on the forest moon? That's gonna be switched around. Annie is going to reveal the whole thing right there.

Well obviously... unless it really is the absolutely improbable case of Annie not knowing about her secret heritage and Sally of all people filling Corry in in detail. That would be pretty weird... UNLESS Annie is good enough at player character seperation fpr Leia to not know what she knows. But that hasn't been such a big point in the comic thus far.
Also, I wouldn't put it too far beyond Jim to have some idea about the real situation. He's not Pete.
I wonder how long we're going to be stuck with the name "Adam".

She's still playing Leia, who isn't in this scene. It's possible she's late to the session or couldn't come at all, to explain why she doesn't appear very much until they get to the rescue.

It's hard to say. He's usually pretty oblivious, but occasionally...
Maybe she made a detour to pick a certain someone up *cough*
In 696 she was introduced along with everyone else (except the GM (of course.)) And there was no reference made to her leaving early last session. It's not like being dead has stopped Jim from talking. I wonder if they just don't have any good pictures of her to use at this time.

Oops, my bad. I forgot she said something there. Well, forget what I said.
Loved the Shawshank Redemption reference in today's comic.

Interesting, I'm getting a feeling like when Sally was introducted, both her and Corey had no idea of what they were doing at the begining. Hopefully, Corey will be just as fun as Sally is.

Well sally was a little kid with a great imagination. Less skill, but awesome at coming up with the most insane scenery and npc descriptions ever.

While Corey is apparently just a **** teenager who is there because... ???? Well, I guess he was curious. Maybe he'll start to like the gaming experience as well.
He's probably there because he found out about a thing and wanted to be part of it.

So, Hypnotoads & Hyperchickens: best title ever, or bestest title across all space-time continua?
Hard to say, if the set of all titles is not compact, then there is no bestest title. I'm more curious about the second point on the regular in-comic world changes list and how will it look like, when we get the next bonus strip. I also only now noticed, that all those extra comics have acitve archives (just the strip names, but still).
