600 / 50 = 12, but the total is 13. That's not a gap, that's a reverse gap. A pag.
Not sure why they had made two bonus strips for the 300th episode. I guess it must have been something like "alright, finished the Avatar strip" "wait, it's number 300 so we should do something with Sparta instead" or similar scenario.

In the world of Enlisted Men & Extraterrestrial Biological Entities, obviously.

Hmm Jim roleplays surprisingly much. Calling it now the whole thing is preplanned and annie told him what to say. Or he got better at roleplaying but calling that is boring.
I'm confused too... also, why Jim is talking about that right then and there... Or did I miss something? Jim getting better at roleplaying... meh, I can live with that. Padme rather suddenly 'attacking' Anakin like that... this seems off to me.
Well, the reason for the force choke is that Padame hits the sorest button of Anakin. Sure that this is likely OOC knowledge, but Jim was never one for completely staying in character.
It didn't require OOC knowledge. Anakin all but told her his mother didn't love him. And it's reasonable for Jim to assume that Anakin has confided the rest of the details, what with them being married and all.

No, he other way round. Padme was all for going evil and ruling the galaxy with Annie but now she goes and makes Anakin angry maybe not on purpose but she really pushes the matter for no real reason. It seems off to me... I guess if she wanted him to face his inner demons she should have done so before he went and killed a few dozen little kids.

Thanks to araveugnitsuga for my current Poke-atar.
I'm jumping on the train of "Where the hell did that come from?"
From reading the last couple strips, my best guess is that Padme is trying to get Anakin to face his darkness and corruption, so...he can be a better or more stable supreme overlord?

Yeah I get the feeling that if jim and annie DIDNT set this up ooc, then jim did it intentionally to try his best to do what made his girl happy. So he put together an excellent scene of roleplaying that served a real purpose. So Annie is either happy because jim did a great job pulling off what they setup, or she is happy that he went so far to do something she is really into. Either way, I liked it!

Yup. Looks like they planned this off-panel. Awww.
Someone on the IWC board pointed out that, if it was planned off panel, it probably happened when Jim and Annie were talking in the kitchen. At the very least that might be when the germ of the idea started.

Wait, really? I thought that Padme was still Good, and all her feeble "I'm totally the Good guy here" excuses were Jim attempting to roelplay a Good character while manipulating her to Evil ends.

You know, its nice how the Irregulars managed to lead us to believe that this scene would be very ugly, with Annie and Jim being angry at each other, then have them make up and have this scene one of the sweetest moments in the comic.
If this "role-playing" results in Jim obtaining some romantic "reward" tonight, I can see this episode becoming the birth of one... large... ham.
That'd be a hilariously ironic reversal of the whole pregnancy scare/joke from earlier...

You know, while Pete says that's 'there's a perfectly good superweapon in orbit, just waiting for someone to take command' the Peace Moon/Death Star isn't built just yet, so there is no superweapon at the present moment.
Just a little something that bugged me. But then, he just might be caught up in the idea of owning a superweapon.
